Hello my loves!! First of all, I need to apologize for this being the 3rd Sunday in a row without a Recipe Reviews on my blog. I actually had one all ready for today but, I could not wait any longer to share what we did over the Valentine’s Day weekend!! (I’ll post the Recipe Reviews tomorrow, I promise). πŸ˜€ I wish I would’ve pried myself away from my Reality TV to write this yesterday so I’d be on schedule but, I was too hooked, lol. Please, forgive me!!

On Wednesday, after I published my last Journal Entry, I spent some time reading your blogs on my Reader and then, I freakin’ started the addicting show, Love is Blind. I watched the first episode before bed and read a bit of Love, Rosie before falling asleep.

On Thursday, I woke up around 1 PM, showered, took pictures of my Feb. Boxycharm products, and played Disneyland Adventures until dinner was done. We watched an episode of Love Island before we went out to run some errands.

We had to grab a few things from Walmart and also, had to stop at the dispensary. When we got home, I wrote quite a few drafts/outlines for future blog posts then, watched a bit more of Love is Blind, took a shower, smoked/read in bed, then went to sleep!

On FRIDAY, my favorite holiday, finally arrived! I set my alarm for 1:30 PM and instantly popped out of bed after kissing boyfriend and wishing him a “Happy Valentine’s Day.” πŸ˜€ I wanted to take a shower and start my makeup ASAP since we had dinner reservations at 5 PM!

Pampas Brazilian Grille had the most appealing deal to us, located inside the Planet Hollywood, we had never been before! For boyfriend’s birthday last year, we went to Texas de Brazil which is the same style but, obviously, a different chain. We were so excited!

When we got there, we checked in and actually had to wait a little even with a reservation. There were SO many people trying to get in but, it wasn’t even comparable to how many were there when we left. Luckily, we were called quickly and were able to sit down after only about 5 minutes or less.

It was the perfect amount of time to take some quick selfies. πŸ™‚

The interior was traditionally upscale with a comfortable atmosphere.

With our holiday special, we were able to add-on an hour of the ‘open deluxe bar’ which included a very deep red sangria that we took full advantage of. We were also given a complimentary glass of champagne each.

We were there forΒ over two hours and were treated so well. We got endless meat and endless drinks (way past the hour mark). It was insane and we were definitely feeling it by the end!

The couple next to us said we were so cute and that she was worried for her sons to start dating but, she’d be so happy if they found a girl like me, lol. She probably would regret saying that if she *really* knew me but, it was so sweet of her!!

The other couple next to us were shocked by how many drinks the restaurant allowed us to down and frankly, so was I! The guy was like, “you guys won, you really beat them.” And, I was proud to hear it. πŸ˜‰ He said he had been worried about adding on the open bar because he didn’t believe they’d allow you to drink as many as we had.

Another part of the holiday special were these juicy, amazing lobster tails. They gave us two, both split in half. Boyfriend gave me the bigger ones AND one half of his, too. I tried to share but, he refused to eat it and I didn’t want it to get cold. I don’t know what I did to deserve such a man, you guys, lobster is so important to me, lol… it honestly meant so much. ❀

The last part of the Valentine’s dinner was the dessert. Each couple got a chocolate mousse cake with chocolate covered strawberries to share.

It was suuuuper rich and chocolaty, such a beautiful flavor but, the mousse texture isn’t our favorite so both of just sort of picked at it and I ate the whole cake crust on the bottom… hehe.

We got our photos taken by this really rude and snappy photographer and were able to buy a (overly priced) photo at the end of our experience.

We were given this 10% off for our next visit, with one of the two pictures she took printed on it so, we were clever and purchased the big version of the other one.

By the time we were paying our tab, it was somehow 7:40 PM. We had tickets to Adult Night at Glow Zone which started at 8 PM and we still needed to go home, get changed, and smoke a blunt.

We ended up getting there a little before 9 PM, which wasn’t so bad at all! We had only looked at pictures online and weren’t sure what to expect.

There was quite a bit to do from bumper cars to “rock” climbing, a “Ninja Warrior” challenge that I broke my nail on 😑 , a super high up ropes course, mini golf, a lazer maze, VR, arcade games and SO much more.

You all know our first stop was to the bar to redeem our drink ticket!!

Then, it was straight to the line for bumper cars which was conveniently located by the dance floor where we boogied down while we waited.

The cushion around each car was sooo deflated and soft, you couldn’t even tell when someone hit you. It was pretty boring to even try… spinning in circles was better, in my opinion because it was like one of those tea cup rides instead, y’know?

There was a huge “beer” pong set up with buckets and water instead of Red Solo cups and beer. We used these baseball sized hollow plastic balls instead of ping pong ones, too. This couple had been undefeated 5 times in a row so, we had to size ’em up. Boyfriend and I are pretty good at the game and would win all the time when we played at parties in the past.

The first go, we weren’t used to the bigger sized stuff so they smoked us right away but, the SECOND time, we got them down to one bucket!! They said we were the closest out of everyone to beating them so, that was good enough for me!! πŸ˜€

The next thing we did was wait in line for the scary, super high ropes course. I was already shaking while walking on the very first steady, wide bar.

I wanted to get off instantly but, the only way was to walk across wobbly ropes and stools to get back to the beginning. I had to do it and wanted to cry. I hate heights so much!!

I breathed a ginormous sigh of relief when I got off and sat at the bottom waiting for boyfriend…

I have to admit, there was NO way that I could’ve fallen off that thing because the harness was not even stretchy or anything like that but, I could NOT handle my heart pounding in my ears and my legs shaking like mad.

We played plus-sized Jenga, did the lazer maze, and Ninja Warrior course and then, heard the announcement that it was time to start leaving. They closed at midnight so, we sadly did not get to do every single attraction. 😦 No matter, though, we still had such a fun time!!

When we got home, we got all caught up with Love Island together and went to bed at almost 5 AM, with an already present slight hangover.

Yesterday, we woke up around 3 PM and were both just lazing about all day. While boyfriend made dinner, I played Disneyland Adventures then, we watched the newest episode of Masked Singer while we ate. When it ended, I moved onto Love is Blind and couldn’t stop thinking about pancakes…

Sooo, we went to Denny’s to get some around 10 PM.

I loved their silly (but, so true!!) coffee quotes on the mugs. πŸ˜€

For our appetizer, we got their half-sized nachos… not as satisfying as Buffalo Wild Wings’ but, still good. Nachos always are, aren’t they?!

I went all out and got the chocolate chip pancakes topped with banana coins. I wish they were fluffier and didn’t have such a strong buttery taste.

I got bacon, over-easy eggs, and hashbrowns that came with it, too. I was only able to eat the bacon and a bite of my hashbrowns, though– I was so full!!

I didn’t even have enough room to “taste” boyfriend’s fries like I normally do! He got the Bourbon burger which had some type of BBQ glaze, bacon, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and the rest of the usual works. He said it was too sweet and soggy for his liking; he had no choice but to use a fork for most of it.

When we came home, I watched the rest of the available episodes of Love is Blind and all 7 episodes of Back With the Ex… I fell asleep watching the very ending of the last episode. πŸ˜›

Today, I woke up at almost 4 PM! I got up to shower right away and then, we smoked a blunt and headed out to the dispensary and Sprouts.

For dinner, boyfriend doctored up a jarred Arrabiata sauce with ground beef and pasta.

We watched an episode of Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back while we ate. When we finished up, I removed all my old nail polish on my finger nails and had to clip them all down– I don’t even know how to explain how terribly upset I am about this. 😦

I started Season 03 of The Rap Game on Tubi and I don’t know why, the show just always tears me up. The kids have so much passion and determination.

I should get back to my main-pedi now! I hope you had the most wonderful holiday and weekend. ❀

  1. That is so nice that the staff treated you both so well on your lovely date.
Those lobster tails look like they are out of this world! I want some just by looking at them lol.
I love that you guys took a picture together, that’s super cute!!!

Oh my gossshhhh!! Glowzone is totally our kind of thing! That looks so fun! I’m so proud of you for finishing that ropes course, as scared as you were.
That place is sick I dont think we have anything like it around here. As far as I know, we only have that underground mini golf in portland, lots of black lights and everything it’s pretty cool. But nothing like this with lots of activities!
I love breakfast so much, but I totally know what you meant about the buttery taste. I dont like that either.
I hope you have had a lovely last few days. Feels like we havent chatted in a while but thats my fault I havent replied to my comments haha

    1. The staff really was so wonderful. ❀ & lobster is seriously my favorite thing to eat, I would be fine having it every single day! & I'm happy they had a photographer there, too!! πŸ˜€ Thank you!!

Glowzone was pretty cool!! You'd so love it. πŸ˜€ & omg that ropes course lol. I really did NOT finish it, I took the shortest cut possible. & I so wish we would've fit mini golf in!! You should look up Kangamoo, it's totally different but would be perfect for Ciel when you guys come here. πŸ˜€

I think I like fluffier, more sweet pancakes. Glad you knew what I meant about the buttery taste!

I hadn't responded to my comments in a couple days, too!! It does seem like we hadn't talked in awhile. 😦 Miss you & hope you had a lovely weekend/week so far, too!!! ❀

      1. I don’t think I’ve had enough lobster or perhaps I haven’t had any at all? Gosh I don’t even know anymore haha
I looked it up just now and it looks so cute! Looks a lot like Play Date PDX (indoor playground that we have here) but much bigger and more spacious for the little ones.
I’ve had a great start to the week so far but Ciel is sick again. 😦 hopefully he wakes up feeling better so he can go to school.

        1. If you guys go to Kangamoo, I hope you have a blast! It really does look so cute but maybe not something that exciting if you already have something like it near you. πŸ™‚

I hope Ciel feels better soon! Poor baby. ❀

    1. It really always has been, even when I was single. πŸ™‚ Love, in all forms, is such a beautiful thing to celebrate & I love that everything is red & pink around the holiday lol! ❀ We had such a blast! πŸ˜€

  2. Oh my gosh, you all are the cutest and the sweetest! I melted when I read that he gave you a half of his lobster tail! I’ve never actually had it, but it looks so yummy. Glow Zone looks so cool. I wish there wasn’t something like that here! I’ve always wanted to do the American Ninja Warrior course especially! Haha. I’m sorry that you didn’t get to see all the attractions there, but it looked like a super rad time! I absolutely love Jenga — so stressful but I always loved playing it.

The pasta dish looks delicious, and I need to make something like that!

Thanks for sharing what you all did for Valentine’s! The food looked amazing and I can’t believe endless meat and drinks! 🀀

    1. I seriously melted when he pushed the lobster tail towards me, too. My eyes watered, that’s how much I love it. ❀ & oh oh!! I have a question about when you play Jenga– do you put the piece you pull out back on top or do you throw it to the side??

The pasta dish was easy peasy! Boyfriend said "all you need is a jar of good sauce, ground beef, pasta, mushrooms, onions, garlic, Italian seasoning, & red pepper flakes." πŸ™‚

We were really happy with our restaurant choice!! The endless meat is incredible & the drinks were such a plus lol. Thank you for reading, love!! ❀

      1. You haven’t played Jenga before?! You put the pieces back on top and follow the pattern! It gets anxious after a while, but it’s a fun challenge I think!

Thank you! I’ll have to dress up my pasta more for us! 😊

        Liked by 1 person

        1. That’s how we play it, too! It was just that there were other couples who were playing it by throwing their pieces to the side instead of trying to balance them on top & I was like ??? lol.

    1. Aw thank you, Jess!!! ❀ We were so grateful that they let us have our open bar for such a long time. We really loved the service here but I do think I prefer Texas de Brazil's meat & flavors more!

  3. I had to chuckle when one of my favorite people on Twitter, @NegativeNatalie tweeted “Ok, let’s see what Love Island is about.” Still waiting on her reaction. My guess is it will totally be her cup of tea.

PIcs of you and BF are TOO cute and your makeup is perfection.

I’ve only been to a Brazilian meat restaurant once, but wow was it amazing! Major meat sweats after.
Handing over the lobster is a pure sign of true love.

Glow zone looks fun. I don’t see those overhead wire things that traditional bumper cars use. I always refused to go on the bumper cars because I was terrified of those electricity sparks. LOL

Yes. Nachos always are good. I have never met one I didn’t like, except maybe my own sad attempts to make them at home. Sometimes they just don’t turn out right and I don’t understand why. If they work once they should work every time.

I’m usually a purist when it comes to pancakes…just butter and maple syrup, but I have to say those banana coins and chocolate chips look TASTY. Those hashbrowns look properly brown and crispy. I hate white/undercooked ones.

Glad you had such a wonderful Valentine’s Day!

    1. Lol, Love Island is so addicting!! If she likes reality TV, it will def be her cup of tea. πŸ™‚

& thank you for the compliments on our pictures & makeup!! ❀

LOL, "meat sweats" oh noooo. Do you remember which restaurant you went to?? We want to try Fogo de Chao next! & yes, oh my gosh, when he gave me the lobster, I honestly cried a little. ❀

& there were none of those overhead wires on these bumper cars, actually! But I totally get that, those electricity sparks are kind of scary– why do they happen anyways?!

It's so weird how you can try to replicate something you've made before but it doesn't turn out right. It happens to me all the time, too!

Do you like peanut butter on your pancakes, ever?? The chocolate chip ones are more dessert-like than breakfasty, in my opinion. Super yummy though! & I agree, white hashbrowns are the worst!!

      Thank you, Jinjer!! ❀

      1. I heard that a host of Love Island committed suicide recently????

The Brazilian meat restaurant I went to was at the Farmer’s Market in L.A. I shouldn’t call it a restaurant. You didn’t go in and sit down. It was a food stand kind of thing. You walked in, grabbed a tray, walked along the salad bar which also had things like beef stroganoff, then you eventually got over to where they guys were carving off however much and whatever kind of meats you wanted. Then they charged you by the weight of the items, I THINK. It’s been awhile. LOL

I’ve only had butter and syrup on pancakes.

        Liked by 1 person

        1. She did. 😦 I was so sad to hear the news.

That sounds so interesting! I hate being charged by the weight though because I always get wayyyy too much LOL.

          Peanut butter on Eggos?
