Ugh, I am ashamed to start writing this. Saturday night, after I published my last Journal Entry, I went to get ready for work like I said I would. I had a mixed drink, jammed to some music videos, then headed out. When we were almost there… I asked boyfriend if he wanted to just go have another drink/gamble together at our fave casino instead. Of course, he was down so…

We got more drunk, played a couple different machines, went home to smoke a blunt, and then went to Viet Noodle Bar for a feast. πŸ˜€

We shared our Fresh Spring Rolls.

And a huge plate of Egg Rolls with veggies to eat them with.

Boyfriend had a bowl of pho and added in tripe for me, even though he hates the stuff. ❀ His other meats were rare steak and brisket.

I got the Beef Stew with rice noodles again… it was all delicious, as always!

Our regular server was there, too. He gave boyfriend a free beer since the one he wanted wasn’t available. Woohoo!

We went straight home afterwards, I washed my face, and we smoked a blunt in bed. I watched clips of Ellen playing games with celebs on her show until I fell asleep.

On Sunday, we woke up and were out of weed so our very first stop was to the dispensary. We came home for boyfriend to roll a blunt and then, we smoked it in the car on our way to Walmart.

I needed a new box of razor heads but, since they’re locked up with no sort of button, boyfriend had to go find us an associate and oh my gosh, you guys… he came back with the wackiest lady, EVER! She opened the case for me to grab what I wanted then, went on to tell us her entire life story while staring deeeeep into my soul. First, she made us sad with her story of surviving a chronic illness… THEN!!! She was like, “before all that though, when I was only four years old, I heard voices and saw demons. Do you want to know what they look like?”

I started trying to push boyfriend to keep going but, he is too kind. He responded to her question, saying, “I don’t think I want to.” But, she freakin’ described them anyways. I finally just walked ahead and said, “that’s terrifying!” waved politely and wished her a good night.

I gotta say, I thought her imagination was going to be a lot bigger but, she only said what we’ve already seen in films…

Our next stop was Sprouts and then, the water mill.

When we got home, I wrote up my Recipe Reviews while boyfriend made us chicken breast sandwiches (and some sides) for dinner.

He made his own sort of spicy rub and it turned out super yummy! We had Sprouts’ deli BBQ baked beans and Annie’s Homegrown Cheddar Flavor Vegan Mac on the side. If you can see it, in the corner of my plate, there’s a Sprouts deli Chicken Corn Dog. I had a bite but, was way too full to have more than that. It wasn’t bad though! I put it in the fridge and boyfriend ate the rest later.

For my late snack, he heated up my leftover yellow curry for me and added in TEN chopped up Thai chili peppers and some red pepper flakes.

It was sooo satisfying and spicy!! ❀

On Monday, I woke up around 1 PM and spent a good chunk of time reading your blogs. πŸ™‚ I got up to take a shower around 3 PM, boyfriend made us dinner, and we finally started Season 02 of Glee.

When we finished eating, we went to Starbucks for our quad shots of espresso. When we came home, I wrote My Top 5 Favorite Films About Addiction, did my hair and makeup, edited my post while drinking and singing, published it, and went to work. I was there from 10 PM-3 AM. It wasn’t a bad night but, it wasn’t the best. The CES Convention is in town and not trying to be rude (or maybe I am) but, a lot of the attendees are stuck up men who think money can buy whatever they want. They don’t care for conversation and don’t understand the art of dancing. There is only one thing on their mind…

When I got home, I made myself some instant noodles to eat.

I took a shower, smoked a blunt, and watched more Ellen YouTube videos until I fell asleep.

Yesterday, I woke up at nearly noon and was really trying to stay up for the rest of the day. I watched United States of Tara on my phone in bed while boyfriend slept. I took a shower around 2 PM and made the mistake of crawling back under the sheets. I ended up taking a nap until like 5 PM.

Boyfriend was up, doing the dishes, rolling up blunts, getting ready for the day. He made us dinner while I did my makeup with the items I received in my #PartyPrep VoxBox.

We ate as fast as we could because I had a musical to go to and it was about time to leave!

The Smith Center was emptier than I had ever seen it before!

I stopped at the concessions for a hot black cup of coffee, sat down on a bench to read and sip a little, used the restroom, then went to grab my spot.

I had never heard of Escape to Margaritaville until it was announced for the series. I went in blindly and I ended up really enjoying the story! The scenery was just beautiful, too, especially the island’s bar. I couldn’t believe how quickly they could set everything up.

All of the romances made me swoon and it was fun that there was more than one to follow. Brick (played by Peter Michael Jordan) was the biggest sweetheart, the one I rooted for the most. His singing voice was a bit more attractive and his stage presence was a lot bigger than Tully’s (played by Chris Clark). The tap dancing scene was killer!

That’s not to say Tully wasn’t talented, though. He was. He definitely had a sexy air to him and he had the low, sultry voice down pat. Yet, his voice never took my breath away when he sang and his solos were rather boring to watch. During his duets, no matter with who, he often sounded like he was competing, trying to be louder instead of working together.

There was a good amount of humor and even some puns. J.D. (played by Patrick Cogan) cracked me the heck up and so did Marley (played by Rachel Lynn Fobbs). She also had my absolute favorite voice in the entire cast.

I can’t say any certain song stuck out to me but, mostly all of them were such a joy to watch. There wasn’t a single one I hated or wished an early end to.

When boyfriend picked me up, we headed straight home. I ate some leftovers from dinner and then, had an edible gummy.

There was some kind of deal at the dispensary where he got this pack for free. Mine was peach-flavored and quite tasty. Not sure it did anything for me though! It was only 10mg.

I wrote my Influenster post and gained all the badges I was supposed to on the app then, watched the last few episodes of United States of Tara! I can’t believe the way it ended. Why do shows have to get canceled before all of the answers are revealed? I hate it.

I had A LOT of snacks while watching TV but, one in particular I HAD to share is…

This fried PB&J sandwich!! Boyfriend spread Earth Balance Original Buttery Spread on each side and threw it in a hot pan. It was DELICIOUS and I highly recommend it if you are ever in need of a cure for your munchies.

When I ran out of episodes of United States of Tara, I tried to find a movie to watch. I started with Shailene Woodley’s artistic porno. OOPS. I mean, White Bird in a Blizzard. I stopped it around 40 minutes and moved onto the Hulu Original series, Dollface. I think I will continue to watch it later but, last night, after the first episode, it was already time for bed.

I took a quick shower and read a bit of this book called, One Was Lost before falling asleep.

Today, I woke up around 3 PM. I took a shower right away and then, smoked a blunt with boyfriend before he started making us dinner. We watched the Britney Spears (!!) episode of Glee, LOVED it, watched another episode and a half then, I grabbed an Annie’s Chewy Granola bar and a cup of hot black coffee to eat and drink on while typing this. πŸ™‚

Now, we are all caught up! I hope you’ve been having a wonderful week so far. ❀

  1. Ahahahaha! Walmart workers can really corner you, I’m sure they mean well but it’s hard to get away sometimes πŸ™‚ I’ve never heard of that show either, sounds like it was enjoyable though. Your kitties look so nice!

    1. LOL, gosh, it really was hard to walk away. Especially after her Polio survival story! But I didn’t want to hear about the demons. 😦

Escape to Margaritaville was very enjoyable. More people should have attended! & the kitties say ‘thank you’!<3

  2. Your cats are two little sweet cuties and that encounter with the Walmart work must’ve been insane but I kinda feel really bad for the poor lady especially since she sounds like she has some mental health issues and is probably quite lonely since she kept going on and on.

    1. The kitties say ‘thank you’! ❀ & I know, I felt so bad. I tried to listen to her & chat for as long as I could, even giving her all my attention & eye contact but, she really freaked me out about the demons. 😦

  3. The pho looks yummy, as usual! I want to laugh about the lady, but that’s so strange and creepy. I sometimes wonder what’s up with some of the workers, but hopefully you can have a laugh about it now! And friend PB&J!? I’ve never thought of doing that even just for the heck of it, haha.

    1. Lol I think we go out for pho at least once or twice a week. πŸ˜› I can’t get enough! & I know, right? I don’t want to laugh at her & at first, we were really spooked but now, we keep bringing it up as a joke lol.

The fried PB&J was amazing!! I was making a regular one & joked about frying it & boyfriend said, “that’s good, I’ve tried it before” & I was like “huh?? Make me one!” I loved it!! ❀

  4. omg the food at the Viet Noodle Bar looks beyond yummy! I never heard of Escape to Margaritaville, but was happily surprised to see how you enjoyed it! I wasn’t sure what to expect since I had been to Jimmy Buffet’s actual Margaritaville restaurant chain before and it wasn’t the best experience.

I am always so disappointed when shows end before they are intended to… or worse, when writers know they’re coming to an end and the ending is so dissatisfactory (i.e. Gilmore Girls, GoT, etc. etc.)

    1. Ugh I can’t get enough of the Viet Noodle Bar, I could go there everyday lol. Oh my gosh, I still haven’t been to the Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Restaurant. I’m so sad to hear you didn’t have the best experience. 😦

I know!! I hate it, it’s like we spend so much time following these characters– we deserve our good endings!!

  5. Omg Walmart is the PLACE to find the most eccentric people! Always Walmart, lmao.

It’s so cool you have a theatre so close to where you live, like a PROPER theatre! That’s one of the only things I miss about the city is there’s always so much cool stuff to do, right downtown.

I’m so the same with edibles LOL. Edibles are finally legal in B.C. it took a while, but now you can legally buy them from the BC Cannabis store (it’s legit like a government liquor store, but for weed–still so weird for me) and we got like 4 boxes of 4 chocolates and split them (they were only 10mg a piece too, bc they can’t be giving out wild amounts I guess lol) but that only lasted like an hour lol I need something that will last me longer like a 1000mg bar, those are the best because I’ll literally pop 200mg if I can in one go. Since my stupid vaping days my lungs haven’t been the same and I just gotta take a break from smoking like a chimney all day lol ya know?

Next time I got the munchies I MUST try that fried pb&j, it seriously sounds like something I would have come up with too lol! Earth balance is my JAM.

As always, the kitties are SO sweet!β™‘

    Love you lots, girly!! xoxo

    1. Lol exactly! You are never short of eccentric people at Walmart!

Ooo, girl, we love Annie’s Vegan Mac! The Cheddar Flavor is our favorite– if you try it out, you gotta go for that one. πŸ™‚

I truly don’t think I’d survive if I didn’t live in a city with cool things to do all the time!! I love having the theatre so close by. ❀ It's seriously only like a 10 min drive from our place, too!

That's so interesting how they *only* legalized edibles over there. They either are too weak for me or make me pass out right away lol. I think smoking it is part of the enjoyment for me, too, though, otherwise I'd try to give my lungs a break as well. πŸ˜›

YESSS! Let me know how you like the fried PB&J when you try it! It literally melts in your mouth. ❀

Kitties say 'thank you'! Love you, too, babe! ❀

      1. I will definitely look for it next time I’m in town!! Thank you!

They only legalized edibles now because it was taking them a long time to figure out how to regulate it and check for roadside impairment tests. At least that’s what I heard anyways lol. I got a dab pen last night and it’s honestly amazing. It’s soooo much easier on the lungs and of course, hella potent. Gotta be careful with that thing lol!!!β™‘β™‘β™‘

        1. Hope you love it! πŸ˜€ & ooo, yeah that makes sense. Actually, after Vegas legalized it, there was a little issue with the importing & moving laws so we had verrry limited amount of strains to choose from. It was weird. Hopefully they figure it all out & legalize everything for you guys soon!! The dab pens actually make my throat feel so dry & scratchy. 😦 I know a lot of people have switched off flower & only smoke pens now but I could never. I only bring mine to work because they don’t stink up the place lol, they are def hella potent though!!

  6. Ok I’m back. Now let’s see what you were ashamed to write.

Oh. LOL. You’re so funny. Don’t be ashamed. Work is overrated. You’re just lucky you’re your own boss and can do as you please. I have a job where we can pretty much only take time off in May, August, and one other month. Everything else is a busy season of some sort.

I can only imagine what drunk-watching Ellen play games must be like. LOL Kitty’s face says it ALL.

Razor heads are locked up???? The demon-seeing associate sounds more scary.
I have had many a grilled PB&J sandwich, believe it or not. Love them! But usually I’m too lazy to butter bread and stand over a pan with a flipper so I just spread it on toast instead. But grilled is definitely better because it gets all melty-gooey.

Love all the sweet kitty pictures.

    1. Lol I agree that work is so overrated but, I just get so ashamed when I don’t go on the weekends or on days I plan to. It makes me feel lazy or like I have no self-discipline? πŸ˜› It really is nice being my own boss though, I don’t know how I will ever go back to someone else controlling my schedule.

LOL oh my gosh, watching Ellen drunk=lots of constant loud laughing! & with Twinkie, I was trying to make it look like SHE took the selfie of us hahaha.

Yeah, razor heads are locked up & if you want to buy anything in the beauty department, you have to get it at the personal beauty checkout lady before going through the rest of the store. Theft prevention is crazy out here.

The grilled PB&J was splendid!! I was joking about doing it & then boyfriend said “that’s good, I’ve done it” & oh my gosh, can’t believe he didn’t introduce me to it sooner! It is much different than just buttering your toast, Jinjer!!

❀ more kitty pictures to come all year!!
