Okay, so, I can’t believe I missed a whole chunk of our Monday when I wrote my last Journal Entry.

After we ate dinner that night, we went out to find our car had a flat tire! Instead of going to Starbucks like we had planned, boyfriend grabbed our other flat tire in the trunk and we called an Uber to bring us to Discount Tire.

They patched up the leak and it was FREE! Can you believe that? Our tire looks brand new now. πŸ™‚ We walked to the nearby Target with a built-in Starbucks while we waited for them to work on it and knocked out two birds with one stone. We Ubered back home and boyfriend replaced the flat one with the patched up one.

Anyways, I don’t think I missed anything else so, let’s jump back to Wednesday night.

After I published my post, I painted my nails with ORLY’s Breathable Treatment + Color in Good Karma. It was SO difficult with the thin, runny formula and huge brush. I got the job done though and watched United States of Tara the entire time. I didn’t touch anything for around an hour but, they still weren’t completely dry. I definitely got the textured look going on right now, lol.

On Thursday, I actually woke up on time to take some photos with the natural sunlight. While I was doing that, boyfriend was cooking up some chicken breasts for our salad kits. You already know I had my fave Taylor’s Farm Asian one.

We watched a little bit of Glee while we ate. ❀ We are finally on the last episode of the first season.

Nothing out of routine happened and I got to work around 11 PM. This annoying guy wasted so much of my time but, it wasn’t very busy anyways and at least he got me a drink. I left around 3 AM.

Yesterday, boyfriend suggested Thai food which I’m always down for but, I wanted to try somewhere we hadn’t already been. I found Thai Chili on Yelp and didn’t read the reviews, just looked at the food photos and decided “let’s go.” Sometimes, the reviews make me want to back out and go to our regular spots, y’know?

When we got there, the smell wasn’t very pleasant and the servers were so busy with to-go orders, they weren’t able to get to us right away. We almost left but, right then, we got our menus and two cups of water.

It was super small in there and while, a lot of people came and went to pick up their orders, none stayed to dine-in like we did.

Another customer came in and waited for her food with this lady ^ and we overheard her say this place had a good reputation. I could also tell it would be authentic since there was a Thai family behind the counters running the place.

Our server looked so young, I’m pretty sure he was the son of the owner or something like that. By the time we decided on what to order, we had, thankfully, become nose blind to the funky odor.

Boyfriend got an extra spicy plate of Pad Woon Sen with super plump shrimpies. It had a nice, smoky flavor with a satisfying amount of spice.

I went for the Yellow Chicken Curry with brown rice and 0 spice. 😦

It was the perfect level of sweetness and they were very generous with the chicken and potatoes. I really enjoyed it! And the brown rice wasn’t the worst, either. πŸ˜›

When we finished eating, the sun was just going under the horizon. The whole sky was nearly black except for this one corner…

We went to Starbucks and then, I got ready for work as usual. I got there around 11 PM.

I started off my night with this couple who ended up fighting once the dude agreed to have a dance with me. I was so confused because the girl was the one who grabbed me in the first place. She got really upset that he wanted to get a dance without her which I was, honestly, taken aback by, too. The whole time, I thought we were gearing up to all go together.

Once she started cussing at him, I just slowly backed away… LOL. It’s just another one for the books. This is exactly WHY I wrote my post: Please, Don’t Bring Your Lady to the Strip Club.

Once I got away from that drama, I ran into one of my old regulars I had been ignoring for the past year. He threw me enough stage tips to make me forgive him for his crude behavior in the past. He is actually a really respectful man who treats women like they are goddesses BUT, he expects them to be so super sweet, prim and proper ALL the time. For example, I asked him if he likes Britney Spears and he said “sure, her music is okay but, she’s a whore.” And, the reason why I stopped talking to him in the first place is because he always went on and on about how my pot leaf tattoo is not ladylike, I shouldn’t smoke, cuss or drink, yadda yadda yadda. Oh, and one time, I wore ripped fishnets, he told me it was “trashy” and bought me new ones…

Since it’s a new year, though, I decided to give a him another chance.

He apologized for being a dick and I could tell he bit his tongue about a lot of things he wanted to criticize me on. Instead of telling me to quite smoking weed, he’d casually ask, “so how much do you think you smoke in a month? How about in a week?” Then, I would glare at him and he’d say, “just asking, you can do whatever you want” SO, FOR NOW, he’s learned his lesson, I guess.

He even told me that he was more drawn towards me because I stopped talking to him and didn’t let him disrespect me no matter how much he paid me. πŸ˜› *sigh* I thought one day he’d give up but, I was only making his attraction for me stronger.

I know his evil side will come back out eventually but, I appreciated him being lovely for at least this one night. It wasn’t so bad hanging out with him and he made it totally worth my while. He wanted me to stay until 7 AM but, my social battery was exhausted and I ended up leaving at 5 AM.

When boyfriend picked me up, I showered, smoked a blunt, watched a few clips of The Ellen Show where she tells celebs what to say through a small ear piece and puts a hidden camera for us to watch what happens. My favorite ones were probably Kris Jenner and Bruno Mars! So freakin’ hilarious!

Every time Twinkie catches me taking a photo of her, she yawns… like “mom, I’m bored of this… pet me!!!”

Today, we went to another new-to-us spot!

Cheba Hut “Toasted” SubsΒ πŸ˜‰ if you look closely, the palm trees are actually pot leaves.

Everything on their menu is weed-related. The sandwiches are named after different strains and each category is really silly like, the apps/sides are called “Munchies” and the drinks are “Cotton Chop Cures.”

For the sandwich lengths, the shortest is a “nug”, medium is a “pinner”, and the biggest one is a “blunt.”Β Sorry you can’t read the menu better. 😦 It was a zoom-in shot from boyfriend’s seat (big thanks to him for taking the pic!).

The interior decor was super stoner-style. So many different stickers were stuck everywhere and all kinds of trippy artwork lined the walls.

The mural in the back was so awesome!! The bartender got in my shot of it but, sadly, his double thumbs up turned out a blur. πŸ˜›

And, I know, it’s way past the season but, they still had this Christmas themed drawing on their chalkboard that cracked me up.

It said “Rudolph’s nose ain’t the only thing getting lit this Christmas” while he’s smoking a candy cane patterned pipe… hehehe. There was just so much detail and different innuendos about weed and smoking, etc. I could not capture it all.

The first thing I grabbed was this rice krispy treat with peanut butter and honey all up in it. It’s called a Goo Ball and I cannot wait to eat it tomorrow.

We shared a platter that came with a traditional kalamata olive topped hummus and a jalapeΓ±o infused one. You won’t believe me when I say this but, we liked it better than Karved’s.

Boyfriend got the “Chronic Blunt” on wheat. It was topped with roast beef, BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, and all the fixin’s. He said he prefers it over Jersey Mike’s and I may have to agree. The bread here was top-notch. Super fluffy yet, crispy with that freshly baked French bread flavor

I got the “AK-47 Pinner” on wheat AKA a French dip, which was NOT better than Karved’s. I did like the addition of ‘shrooms and red onions, though, and the au jus was good, too.

We may possibly return after we try a few other sandwich shops we haven’t been to yet but, I’d definitely order something different next time. The cashier was also a big grump but, oh well, that’s his problem.

On the way home, we made a few stops (Starbucks, ATM, smoke shop). I started typing this right away and NOW, I better hop off and get ready for work!

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend. ❀

  2. Omg you are so hilarious you never fail to make me giggle with your posts. Especially the crazy ladies one. πŸ˜‚

lmao the textured look! Every time I attempt to do my own nails this happens to me too… sadly I’ve had to cut them down to stubs so I don’t aggravate my eczema if u get my pain 😭

I can’t believe that old regular of yours why do people just think they’re so entitled to treat/act however they’d like to everyone and seriously expect them to lie down and take it. What a CHAD. Good on you for protecting your energy and knowing what you will and will not tolerate!! What a queen✨✨ in the end he’s paying YOU so you win πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

You seriously can’t do this to me every week man 😭 I love Thai food sooo much. I live in the boonies now and there’s legit only 3 places to eat and I will NOT go to 2 of the 3 and the place I go to we order the same thing every time… I totally feel you on the review thing if I read too many my adventurous side slinks back into the shadows and I end up ordering potatoes or something over and over again πŸ˜‚ always the same- I guess that just means we know what we like! But damn that pot themed place just had my name written all over it πŸ˜‚

Your cats are SO CUTE. Please never stop posting pics of them it makes me miss my kitty so much πŸ’•πŸ’•

Cant wait for your next entryπŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’— love ya! Xo

    1. Lol yay!! So happy I could make you laugh, Jenni. πŸ€— & I’ve always got the textured look going on, too. It’s so hard to wait the full time some polishes take to dry! & I totally understand your eczema pain. ❀

Aw you’re right, I love how you say I’m winning in the end. He’s really an odd man. I don’t understand people like that! He really thinks he is so superior somehow…

I would honestly die if I lived somewhere without many dine out options. I’m sorry you’ve only got 1 place you like near you! Reviews are just way too harsh sometimes lol & you would have loved the Cheba Hut. It was so fun. 😁

I will continue with the cat pics, for sure!! Love ya, too!! ❀

  3. Your days are always so fun to read! I feel like I’m catching up with a friend, everything just raw.

It’s the same with me when I read reviews! Sometimes I really want to go to a place, then read bad reviews about it, ended up STILL going because I can be stubborn as fuck thinking β€œit might not be that bad”, then end up regretting because the bad reviews are accurate hahaha

Anyhow, I hope that regular guy really learns his lesson!! Can’t believe he’s throwing hate to Britney like that!!

    1. Aw yay, Amielle πŸ™‚ I love that it feels like we are just catching up like old friends when you read my journals, that’s exactly what it feels like while I’m writing them, too!

Most reviews are really accurate & I usually agree with them in the end but, I also think some people are just way too harsh & everyone will have different experience, y’know? I just wanna try more new places this year!

I know, I was like “Britney’s been through a LOT, I don’t think she’s a whore” & he kept being mean about her so I changed the subject. πŸ˜› I doubt he’s learned his lesson forever, he will be back to his old ways soon, I bet.

  4. I just read the blog you featured. I love it and totally agree with why they shouldn’t be there. And girl, I need to see these 8 inch heels!
Sometimes my other half and I read reviews and then that’s a shame but still go for it… some people are just super pity and bitter and like to write something bad even if the foods amazing xxxx

  5. Getting a flat sucks. Good thing it was free!!
That Thai place sure was busy then despite the fact that no one was dining in lol.
Lmao the couple! Why do women think that’s a good idea?? 🀣🀣
I’m so not okay with your regular talking to you like that. Mind your own fucking business man! But, I’m happy that you didn’t let the guy keep disrespecting you. Hopefully he doesnt do it again…
Lmfao!! Cheba Hut!! Alex would love to go there just for fun haha
Alex might also like the Goo Ball. Hes been asking me to make him PB balls for a long time and I still havent πŸ˜ͺ
Better than Jersey Mike’s you say? Too bad I dont usually get anything roast beef to know for sure, but, alex might like it? Lol.
Also, guy behind the counter could probably use a smoke hahaha jk they would probably fire the poor guy lol

    1. Lol it really did suck but, it was super awesome that it was a free service. πŸ™‚ I will never go to another tire shop again!

Oh my gosh, that couple! She kept pretending to be so happy & chill with everything but she was not happy. But ugh that guy was the worst… I feel bad for the poor girl.

I hate that regular of mine lol. He says such annoying shit. Thank you for always having my back. ❀ & I know he'll be back to his old ways soon… I just hope he doesn't come around too often. I can't handle too much of him.

Cheba Hut was SO funny! We had passed it before but never noticed it was a pot-themed place somehow. We can def bring Alex there to check it out. πŸ˜€ & The Goo Ball was pretty good but I would have liked a LOT more peanut butter. πŸ˜› I do think the bread was better than Jersey Mike's but the meat might be on par.

For real, though, I don't know what was up with that cashier. He was so crabby.

      1. Awh well then I’m sorry for the girl… I wonder who’s idea it was to go to the strip club in the first place lol.
Hmmm…well fuck him then! LOL Maybe you can avoid him next time he’s in there.
Okay, I will put Cheba Hut down on my list for next time ;D

        Liked by 1 person

        1. Lol they acted like it was both of their ideas & they even said they go to them often together but whatever. πŸ˜› that’s their problem! & yeah, I’m thinking about just avoiding him…

    1. Lol me, too! It was such a fun shop. πŸ™‚ The rest of the staff was cool but the one we dealt with was such a grump! A lot of men do like to have control & mostly all of them have ego issues but, sometimes, it’s just not worth it to deal with them. πŸ˜›

      Liked by 1 person

  6. How can you be a grump when you work in a pot-themed sandwich shop?! I feel like being chill would be a job requirement πŸ˜‚ Discount Tire is the best, I had a similar experience with them not too long ago and was impressed with their customer service. Glad they fixed you up. Your journal entries are always an interesting read πŸ’š

    Liked by 1 person

    1. I know! Something must have been going wrong in his day for him to be so grumpy. πŸ˜› the other employees were super chill & laid back, though! & I’ll never go to another tire shop again, they were so good to us there– glad to hear you had a similar experience, too! πŸ™‚

Thanks so much for reading, Stella! Means a lot that you find these Journal Entries interesting. ❀

    1. Ah, it could have been worse than a flat tire, right?! ❀ & the Goo Ball was pretty good! I think more peanut butter & maybe a chocolate coating or something could have turned it up a notch though! Boyfriend and I ate about 3/4 of it last night. I thought we'd finish it but it's so big LOL.

      Liked by 1 person

      1. Oh yes, choc & peanut butter is one of the best flavor combos of all time! I always think I can eat a crap ton of peanut butter, but I never can. It’s delish but so darn filling!

        Liked by 1 person

  7. Just when it seems like you have had enough of your car troubles, but glad it was free! Thai Chili’s food looks really good; but curry with no spice sounds so weird! It sounds like it’s been an interesting few nights at work for you. Go you for not letting the client disrespect you! That’s a shame about him, but hopefully he’ll have some kind of change of heart or lesson to learn for him to have more respect for people!

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Oh man, it seems like we are cursed with car troubles for the rest of our lives, doesn’t it? 😦 Lol, all Asian food is kind of weird with no spice but I always have to get it that way if I’m going to work afterwards. I don’t want to get bloated or gassy.

I think my regular is a lost cause. He is so set in his superiority over EVERYONE.

  8. OMG as always, your food photos are making me so hungry…. particularly the Thai food!

Smoking references tend to go over my head unless they are really obvious. One of my favorite makeup brands (Melt) has a smoking inspired palette called Smoke Sessions but many of the actual shade name references go over my head lol

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Ugh, I am always in the mood for Thai food. Lol I want more right now! Sorry to make you hungry though. ❀

Lol I remember that Melt palette, I never paid attention to the names though. I'm gonna look it up & see if I can catch all the innuendos. πŸ˜‰
