Five Friday Faves! #1

Hi Loves! I’m going to be making a few changes on my blog (mostly schedule-wise) but, none of them are really set in stone yet. I’m gonna test out how they work for me first and then fill you in, if you care. ๐Ÿ™‚

Instead of my Monthly Currentlys, I’m going to start sharing Five Favorites on Friday. I have no idea where this post originated from but, I have seen many of my blogging buddies participate in it and I always enjoy reading them. I hope you won’t mind this format on my blog. โค

1. Clipper Teas – Red, White and You

Yummy! Boyfriend and I went through all 20 ‘envelopes’ in about a week. It doesn’t leave that thick, dryness in the back of your throat after you finish a cup (do any other tea drinkers know what I’m talking about?) and the flavor is deep enough you can top your mug off with more hot water over and over again. I never add any sweeteners to my drinks but, this one was naturally sweet on its own– even if you do usually do that, you wouldn’t need to with this one.

2. Biorace – Lโ€™eau Hydrating Treatment Serum

I mentioned in my last Journal Entry that I started doing the 10 Step Korean Skincare Routine. ‘Serum’ is Step 6 and I really love using this one. It smells so fresh and feels amazing on my skin. My face is noticeably softer and even looks younger!

3. Kismet – Buff Sugar Lip Scrub in Bright & Bubbly

I know I already raved about this when I first received it in my October Ipsy Glam Bag but, it’s just so good! My lips are drier than ever since it’s windy as heck outside but, this keeps them nice and hydrated for a couple days– not just a few hours. ALSO, it smells freakin’ delicious!

4. Atypical – Season 03

Why was it only 10 episodes? I could watch this show forever. Every season is better than the last!

5. Sprouts – Chocolate Sandwich Cremes

Okay, no, these aren’t better than real Oreos but, Sprouts doesn’t sell those… they sell these, and they actually aren’t bad. Plus, they’re not filled with high fructose corn syrup.

  • What have YOU been loving this week?!

  1. Omg that tea packaging is so adorable!! I love reusing my tea bags, but the tazo tea I have right now barely lasts 2/3 cups later ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I love your new ideas/plans for your blog!! especially if it means we’ll get to see more posts! ;)โ™ก

    1. Isn’t it so cute? โค I usually take the tea bag out but, leave like a 1/4 of the liquid at the bottom & just top it off with more hot water. What flavor of Tazo are you drinking? I haven't ever tried one that I liked from that brand. ๐Ÿ˜›

Aw yay!! I'm so happy you'd want to see more posts from me โค hopefully, it will all work out. ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. I’m currently drinking English breakfast because I can’t seem to find any earl grey (my favourite) at the the store I shop at ๐Ÿ˜ฆ …

But I’m a black tea kinda gal, so the English breakfast is good ๐Ÿ™‚

Of course I do! You’re definetely one of my favs! You’ve been there since the beginning of my blog and that means a lot to me. You always have my support girl!โ™กโ™กโ™ก

  2. Sour cream and onion Cheeze It crisps ๐Ÿคค soooooo good!

On a strange note: my husband is a professor at a university and he said he has a student that reminds him of Sam from Atypical.

    1. Oh my gosh, I saw those on commercial… they look fantastic!! I will have to buy some even if they give me a tummy ache– I know it’ll be worth it lol.

      Aw, I love Sam. โค

  3. Oh cool! I love your Monthly Currentllies but will love your Friday Faves just as much. I recently ordered the Mom’s Best Cereal cinnamon squares that you recommended. Amazon Pantry had ’em.

I looked to see if they had a variety pack of that Clippers Tea you recommend here, but they don’t. It would’ve made a nice stocking stuffer for my BFF. I love the packaging very much but am not a tea drinker myself, only because certain hot teas make me nauseous AF. I don’t have any problems with any iced teas, for some reason.

Ok I need to see A-typical.

    1. Oh goodie! I am excited to share every week instead of having to wait until the end of the month. ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you love the cereal as much as I do!!

Aw, how strange that tea makes you feel nauseous. It would have been a very nice stocking stuffer for your BFF! I found it at Sprouts but have never seen it anywhere else, I don’t think. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Atypical is the cutest. I hope you like it!

    1. I have got it on my blogging schedule already! I just want to find a nicer product for a certain step before I write it up. ๐Ÿ™‚ That makes me so excited that you wanna read about it! โค

  4. Yay, a new series you’re starting! I mainly drink green tea, but I understand the dryness in the back of your throat! It’s a weird feeling and maybe that’s why I don’t drink it much. I’ve never tried any off brand versions of Oreos, but some off brand items are pretty close to the real thing! I’ve never heard of Atypical, so I’m interested in looking it up and watching it!

    1. Aw yay so happy that you’re excited about this new series! ๐Ÿ˜€

Okay, no one else said anything about the dryness from tea so I thought I was crazy lol I’m really glad you know exactly what I’m talking about! I really like green tea, too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Some off brand items really can be surprising & oh man, you are going to love Atypical. I am jealous you have a whole 3 seasons to binge-watch whenever you get to it!

      1. Haha, I thought it was me because Alexis drinks tea a lot and has never mentioned it leaving a dryness for her, so I thought I was crazy! I suppose that’s why I love waiting until a series ends or nearly ends to just binge-watch if I end up liking it! Cliffhangers and the unanswered stuff just kills me to have to wait for the next part!

  5. The tea sounds wonderful. I usually get the yogi ones and the country peach, hardly ever branch out of those lol. Where did you find those teas? I havent seen them at fred meyer and that packaging is hard to miss lol
That serum, did you get it in a box or at the beauty stores you took me to? I wonder if I can find an asian beauty store near me and I can browse what they have because I do need an essence lol.
Yay to good lip scrubs! I might make one for me ๐Ÿ˜€
Agree on Atypical, so so good! I hope they make a S4

    1. I’m not sure if I tried Country Peach before! I found the tea at Sprouts, they have so many different kinds I wanna try there.

The serum was from an Ipsy box. I think the Ultimate one I got. I need an essence, too!! Let me know if you find a store near you. ๐Ÿ™‚

Ooh what a fun idea to make you own lip scrub! Hope it turns out well! & it really seemed like they’re gonna make a S4, so I’m hoping so, too. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Yay!! So happy to hear that you’re pumped for this new series. ๐Ÿ˜€ Clipper Teas is probably the first kind that hasn’t given me that dry feeling, glad you knew exactly what I’m talking about lol.

    1. Mmm, I think you’re going to love it. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m not sure if there are other flavors but, this one smells amazing. โค Boyfriend & I both really love Atypical, it's such a cute show! I hope you do decide to give it another shot!

    1. Oh yay!! I’m so happy that you like the Friday Faves. ๐Ÿ˜€

Aw, yeah. That’s so cute what you said about Atypical. They have the best bond & I’m really glad to know that it’s a good representation. โค
