RUNNER-UP: Steve Laurant Lip Gloss *shade: Posh, May 2019 Boxycharm

Lip Liner goes to… Illamasqua Coloring Pencil Lip Crayon. I received the shade Lust in my January 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag and then, two more shades, Media and Lust in my May 2018 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus.

RUNNER-UP: Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind Cashmere Lip Pencil *shade: Mocha, May 2019 Boxycharm

Lip Gloss goes to… Dominique Cosmetics Lemonade Lip Gloss *shade: Peach Tea. I received this in my June 2019 Boxycharm.

RUNNER-UP: Laqa & Co. Prickly Pear pH Gloss, February 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag

Bronzer goes to… Maëlle Beauty Sunkissed Bronzer Palette. I received this in my February 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus.

RUNNER-UP: HUDA Beauty Bronze Sands 3D Highlighter Palette *shade: Aruba, July 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus

Blush goes to… Alamar Cosmetics Colorete Blush Trio, most specifically the shade Seclusion. I received this in my May 2019 Boxycharm Subscription. I initially had worries about it being hard to blend but, it isn’t at all!

RUNNER-UP: Wander Beauty Dusk to Dawn Blush & Highlight Palette *shade: Havana Nights, received in my December 2018 Boxycharm, truly discovered and constantly used in May 2019

Highlighter goes to… Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder *shade: Purple Dream. I don’t like that it’s a loose powder but, it’s the most unique and fun in my collection. I received this in my April 2019 Boxycharm.

RUNNER-UP: Wander Beauty Dusk to Dawn Blush & Highlight Palette *shade: Tuscan Sunrise

Mascara goes to… Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara *shade: Brynn. It doesn’t make my lashes as dramatic as my runner-up but, there’s no smudging or flaking and the formula isn’t too wet. It’s the only mascara that doesn’t run underneath my eyes after a long night but, I’m still searching for something BETTER. I received this in my July 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus.

RUNNER-UP: IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara *shade: Super Black, March 2019 Boxycharm

Eyeshadow Palette goes to… BH Cosmetics Zodiac Palette. I purchased this in September 2019 at Ross. Both the mattes and shimmers are extremely pigmented, buttery smooth, and easy to blend.

RUNNER-UP: Ace Beaute Grandiose Palette, received in my November 2018 Boxycharm, truly discovered and created three makeup looks with in January 2019

Eyeshadow Single goes to… NUDESTIX Magnetic Luminous Eye Color *shade: Copper Foil. I received this in my February 2019 Boxycharm.

RUNNER-UP: Etude House Look At My Eyes Eyeshadow *shade: Red, March 2019 NoMakeNoLife (WARNING: NOT CRUELTY-FREE!!)

Nail Polish goes to… Zoya PixieDust Nail Polish *shade: Noir. I may have already known about Zoya before this year but in 2019, I discovered the PixieDust formula! The texture is so fun, it’s easy as heck to apply, and it dries faster than ever. I purchased this straight from the main website in February 2019 along with a few other shades. I shared them all on my blog in my March 2019 Currentlys.

RUNNER-UP: Pretty Woman Nail Polish *shade: Platinum Status, May 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag

ALL PRODUCTS ARE CRUELTY-FREE UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE.

Alright!! That wraps up My 2019 Color Cosmetics Awards. 🙂 What products would you have chosen for each category? Do you agree with any that I chose?

  1. Love this! I so want to try Thrive Causemetics in the future. I’ve heard great things about Ilamasqua, but I think overall it’s quite hard to get your hands on here (I think it’s a UK brand originally).

    1. I love what Thrive Causemetics stands for. I would love to try all of their products some day. You can change the currency to USD on the Illamasqua website & they have free shipping when you spend over $50. 🙂

  2. Yasssss Illamasqua! I wish I could have something from that brand. Haha
I LOVE that DC lip gloss too one of my favorites!!
Glad to see the Alamar blush trio also made it to your faves! It was honestly one of my favorites too!
Oh snap, the Thrive Causemetics won over IT Cosmetics?? Niiiceee. I hope you are able to find something better.
That nail polish shade is STUNNING!!!

    1. I want all of their stuff!! You can order online & get free shipping if you spend over $35, I think. 🙂 The DC lip gloss is so lightweight & cute!! I haven’t gotten any that I’ve wanted to replace it with all year. All of the other blushes were so bad, Alamar won by such a landslide. & I had to pick Thrive as the winner because there’s absolutely no smudging, the formula comes out evenly/so much easier to apply but, I like the IT Cosmetics one so much because it makes my lashes the most beautiful. It’s just so wet/flaky & a little smudgy. 😦 I still have high hopes that I’ll find something better in 2020! & I need more of those nail polishes! The crazy thing is, they’re not even difficult to remove like most sparkles, either!

      1. We’ve been spending so much lately we actually have to start saving which means I have to cut back on all the spending haha. At least until March or so which is when I may* be going to Vegas again? Jennie hasnt told me anything but come January, I will ask her for dates so I can tell Alex and he can ask for days in advance (hopefully he can come) and so we can also get our plane tickets and all that.
Anyway I just derailed the conversation so quickly wha…lol.
I know me neither! I resubbed to boxy on November and cancelled again but I took advantage and used the charms I still had in there and got another of the DC lip gloss so when I run out of the first one, I have a second one lol.
Aw well here’s to hoping you find a great mascara in 2020!

        1. She never gave me any dates either but she said the beginning of March, if I remember correctly. 🙂 I cannot wait to see you again & to finally meet her! I hope Alex is able to make it, too!

I never really had any points on Boxy or Ipsy lol. So lucky you were able to grab another DC lip gloss, were all the shades available?!

          ❤ ❤

          1. I’m hoping the boys can come again lol. It’ll be a lot but now we know what to expect haha
Oh lol you get points for “reviewing” the products you get. You don’t need to write an essay or anything, most people just put “I really love this” or “i didn’t like this” and apparently that’s enough to earn you points. I like Boxy’s point system better. I’m not sure if Ipsy changed? Shortly after cancelling it someone mentioned they had changed the point system. Idk for sure. I do like Boxy’s better I think they give you 50 points per review which is essentially $0.50 so when you accumulate your points, you can get stuff from the charm room but you also have to log in when they add new stuff otherwise all the good stuff gets taken lol

            1. You’re probably going to think I’m crazy but I don’t write reviews on Ipsy or Boxy because I don’t want them to like, read them & base what they send me on it. Like if I really like a certain cleanser, I don’t want them to be like OH! Let’s keep sending her different cleansers. 😛 Does that even make sense? Lol.

          2. And sorry I almost didn’t answer your question, I don’t remember if all the shades were available or not,.sorry 😕 I want to say yes, but sadly, maybe not? I think if they had other shades I maybe would have gotten another but since I got the same one, maybe not.
