Hi!! I hope your Monday has been going swell and that your weekend was a blast!!

Last time I wrote was Wednesday, I didn’t do much besides write that Journal Entry, eat dinner, and play Sims 4. I’ve already finished University with one of my sims and became an expert Spellcaster with another. The new packs were fun but, a bit easy and rather quick to get through.

On Thursday!! My friend and fellow blogger, Rossy, landed in Las Vegas with her husband and son. It was our first time ever meeting in person but, after chatting away on this platform for about a year and a half, it didn’t feel that way at all. Even boyfriend said he was “comfortable with them the whole time.” It was amazing how great we all got along, really!! I only wish we all lived in the same city and state so we could double (and a half) date more often!!

I woke up a little earlier than usual to get ready to meet up with them for dinner. I wanted to have my makeup done for work so I wouldn’t have to worry about getting home on time to do it. Luckily, I was so excited I had no trouble getting up!! πŸ˜€

By now (if you read my Journal Entries often), you probably know Ramen Sora is one of mine and boyfriend’s fave spots to eat so of course, we had to bring them to try it.

I got the Deluxe Miso, boyfriend got the Spicy Miso, Rossy tried the Corn Butter Shoyu, and her husband tried another kind with the Shoyu broth. πŸ™‚

When we finished eating, I was already feeling drowsy so, I pretty much forced everyone to enable my addiction and get Starbucks with me.

I wrote a compliment on a post-it and put it in the mailbox while I waited for our drinks to be made. I thought it was such a sweet idea!!

We had our men take our very first photos of us together!!! And I know, you won’t believe me when I tell you this but, Rossy and her son were even cuter in person!! Seriously, the most adorable people ever!!

Boyfriend took the photos (above) and her husband took the photo (below). All credit goes to them!! Thanks boys!!

Then, drinks in hand, we headed to a small Korean cosmetics store down the street. There was a lot of good stuff in there but, I also wanted to bring them to the bigger one I’ve raved about a couple times, Shibuyala. We browsed around for a bit in both stores then, decided it was probably time for me to get home and do a couple other things before going into work. They headed off to go walk The Strip.

But, of course, we didn’t part ways before taking more photos together!!

Her husband also took the one (above) with her phone for us. 😊

When we got home, I had a quick mixed drink of pineapple juice and Patrón while I jammed to some music. I got to work around 11 PM and stayed until a little past 3 AM. It was a really great night for me!! I am definitely super grateful. ❀

On Friday, we didn’t have plans with Rossy and her fam but, we also didn’t have any food at home. We decided to go out for dinner at SkinnyFats, another one of our fave spots.

They didn’t have any of their special black pepper flavored ketchup that I like but, we noticed two new ones: Turmerica Hot Mustard and Porky Pineapple “Catchup.” They were both too sweet for my taste buds but, boyfriend was a fan of the mustard. He also ordered a sugar cane soda and it came in the coolest cup.

I always have to take a photo of their interior because it’s just so hip. It’s industrial-style done right and their artwork is out of this world. The painting of the girl behind me was mesmerizing but, I couldn’t get a full shot at my angle.

We got the Ahi Tuna cucumber boat. It had sliced almonds and a spicy mayo sauce drizzled on top. We removed the slices of avos but, it just wasn’t that good. Kind of plain and the fish was mushy.

I ordered the More Cow Bowl, it was basically a teriyaki steak stir-fry. Impossible for me NOT to love.

Boyfriend got the Filet O’ Fire (a steak sandwich) with their delish sweet potato fries.

And we also shared a side of their “Yummus” with their overly sea salted pitas.

Afterwards, we went to Starbucks to get our quad shots of espressos over ice and then, came home to get ready for work and have a cocktail.

Boyfriend dropped me off around 11:30 PM and I stayed until past 4 AM. It was pretty slow and shitty but, hey, it def could’ve been worse.

On Saturday, we had plans to meet up with Rossy and her family again. I decided to take the night off so that we could hang out for longer since it’s not everyday we get to see each other, you know!!

They were out and about, doing their own thing, when we woke up so, we went to Ross to pick up a few things and had a bowl of pho at the Laos Market next door. We also ordered a spicy papaya salad to-go.

The lady who made it was surprised to hear that boyfriend likes it just as spicy as I do. She asked us, “which one of you likes it spicy like that?” When we told her, “both!” she widened her eyes and said, “oh, good!” to him, hahaha.

We went back home and smoked a blunt while we waited for them to come over. Rossy wanted to to meet our fur babies!

Before they got here, Benji was being all hyperactive and begging for us to play with him but, he got super scared and shy around them. I knew he would but, gosh, he’s such a weirdo. Can’t believe how naughty and needy he is with us but, then acts like a chicken around strangers. My Sushi was the little attention whore that he always is. He was loving all the extra hands petting him. Twinkle Star was kept in our room because she’s already frantic around my boys but, she did come out to let Rossy pet her for a tiny bit. She’s a bully for affection, too, so I wasn’t surprised. She even did a jump from the bed to the cat tree like a show off and tried to be all cute for her.

Later that night… (and EVERY night, lol)

Our next stop was the Fashion Show Mall!

I was dying for something sweet after the MSG, salt-filled pho and I also needed a caffeine boost.

Honeymee caught my eye right away. Boyfriend and I got the Honey Affogato and the nastiest Matcha water-based drink. It tasted like chalk water… and most of the time, he can just chug stuff down to not waste it but, not with this… I couldn’t even blame him for throwing it out. πŸ˜› Their honey and ice cream was as good as I remember, though. Mm, mm. ❀

We walked around for about an hour or two (and found a selfie booth!!) before we were all starving again.

I wanted to bring them to Bahama Breeze and they were down to try it so, we went to our cars and met back up at the restaurant.

I just think their food is top-notch and their interior has the most vacationy vibe ever. If you don’t have one near you, you must visit when in Vegas.

I saw their Limited Time Lobster & Seafood Pot on the front page and I already knew that’s what I was going to get. I got a hot black coffee to drink on the side, too.

I tried my best to get one big shot with all of our plates included, lol. Sorry it’s so dark and weirdly angled!!

I was really thinking that my bowl would be bigger than it was based on the photo in the menu but, it was still enough to fill me up. The seafood was cooked perfectly and the broth was the right amount of tomatoey. I do think if I hadn’t ate earlier in the day, though, I probably would’ve still been hungry.

Boyfriend had the Blackened Chicken Pasta. He ordered it the last time we went here together and the flavor is hard to find elsewhere. Rossy got the delicious Tequila Glazed Salmon, her husband had the Lobster Mac & Cheese and her son had the Kid’s Bowties & Cheese. All of it made me droooool!!

We, then, all walked The Strip together until around midnight. We stopped at this candy store called, It’s Sugar.

Rossy wanted something special from there and I was just blown away by ALL of the HUGE SIZED everything.

When we parted ways, we were all pretty pooped. Boyfriend and I didn’t want to do anything but, sit back and watch movies when we got home. We watched two before it was time to go to bed.

On Sunday, we all met up one last time before they headed off to the airport!

BUT, I’m gonna end this post here. I’ll be back with another Journal Entry on Wednesday. Tomorrow, I get to go see How The Grinch Stole Christmas the Musical. πŸ˜€ I CANNOT wait, especially after that terrible rock opera earlier this month…

Hope you have a wonderful week! ❀

I love that photo of us outside! So cutee!!
The ahi tuna cucumber boat looks amazing but im sorry it was disappointing. The teriyaki steak stir fry might be something alex would get. He likes meat and loves teriyaki lol.
The pho next door to you guys looks AMAZING!!!!!!!! my mouth is literally watering as i type this haha
Lololol your description of Benji! 😭🀣 i was actually super excited to meet him the most for some reason but Sushi made me fall in love! 😍😍 chubby and lovable! πŸ–€
I was SO grateful that Twinkle Star let me pet her for a bit. As shy and possibly scared as she was, she was a sweetheart. 😻
I didnt mind the matcha tea much, but i definitely tasted better. I almost wish i could have gotten the honey affogato you guys got 😭
I LOVED the vibe and interior of Bahama Breeze, im so glad we went there! Food was delicious.
The inside of IT Sugar was so cool! I dont eat candy often but i was tempted to get a bunch of stuff lol.

    1. πŸ˜€ so happy you felt the same way!! It really felt like we had hung out many times before. ❀

I cannot get enough of Starbucks, I'm truly sorry for dragging you guys there but I'm glad you didn't mind & ended up getting something, too. πŸ˜€ I really like the camera on my phone, too. It's the Note 8 and there's already a 9 & a 10…. I can't even imagine how nice their cameras are.

The ahi tuna was just a bit too smushy… maybe not that fresh? & I liked the teriyaki bowl. It could easily be recreated by both of the Alex's at home though lol.

The pho next door is alright! Their broth has too much MSG and they only give tiny pieces of beef but, it's good in a pinch.

I think the Matcha drink would have been better if they had almond milk instead of water. I couldn't stand it but was proud of you for drinking it! Boyfriend wouldn't chug it down lol. You could have had a bite of my affogato!!

Yay!! I'm really happy that you enjoyed Bahama Breeze as much as we do. ❀ Their vibe is just perfect for vacationing!

I am TRYING not to eat so much candy but, I was looking for a dark chocolate covered Oreo the whole time we were in It's Sugar! There were none & I was sad I didn't spot the Nerds Ropes until we were walking out lol.

Totally understand you will be busy with the holiday!! Again, I hope you have a nice one!! ❀ I can't wait to read your posts & watch your videos from the trip!!

I am so glad you guys had fun!!! ❀ Hopefully we will meet again soon soon soon!! ❀

      1. When I said before that I thought you were my soul sister I wasn’t kidding ;D
Nah no worries, we were more than happy to join you guys in your SB run πŸ˜‰ I really like the iPhone cameras but the way they run their business is very shitty LOL
Ah yeah, I thought the matcha tea would be alternative milk based too but was disappointed that it wasnt LOL. It wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had, truthfully so no biggie LOL
You should have said something about getting the nerd rope thougghhh! Not like we had anything better to do that night but walk around LOL
I hope I can come back in March, I really really hope I can, fingers crossed! If not, I will find another time to go there, I believe Alex’s mom will be going there once a year, so we can always go back whenever they go back πŸ™‚

        1. Ugh I love you!!! πŸ’– We were definitely meant to know each other, soul sisters forever. ❀ I don’t like iPhones because they’re boring to me compared to Android. I’m not sure I’ve heard much about their bad business scandals? Now I’m curious lol.

Yeah, that matcha maybe wouldn’t have been so bad over almond milk or something. I don’t know though, it was pretty bad. πŸ˜‚

No no, that’s okay. I was too lazy to go all the way back just for the rope LOL.

Fingers crossed you’ll get to come back in March! 🀞🏽

Yeah iPhones are bleh. I love being able to change the theme and icons of my main screen and lock screen on my android. πŸ˜€

  2. You all are just so fabulous; it looks like such a wonderful time you had together with fun memories and yummy food. That candy store is just a cavity for all waiting to happen, haha. Gosh, Stephen and I have been on a huge Nerds craving, so that huge box is just tormenting me since I went to the store recently and they were out of them! I’ve only went to a Bahama Breeze once and it was in Georgia, but I absolutely loved their food. I need to find if there’s one nearby. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! β™₯

Hope YOU have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! ❀

      1. I looked and the ones that are close are the ones in Atlanta, GA and near Raleigh, NC. πŸ₯Ί I guess I’ll need to make a special trip to those locations in the future! It was a lovely day with some favorites foods! Hope yours was great! I’m reading all the posts out of order it appears, haha, but if I haven’t wished you one, I hope it was wonderful!

I would love to bring you to Ramen Sora sometime, too! You GOTTA have the spicy miso!! & the Post It mailbox was so sweet, there was nothing bad written in there either, all compliments like it was meant to be. ❀ I expected at least one rotten apple to draw inappropriate pictures lol.

You could totally have all of our avocados lol & I wish I could have another Honey Affogato right NOW too!! They are the best dessert!! & that candy store was WILD. What's your #1 favorite candy??

  4. Aw that’s so cool that you got to meet a blogging friend in person!! What a special experience – you both looked so cute in your photos!! I chuckled that you made your guys take the photos lololol! πŸ˜† πŸ˜† Also, your hair looks so long and healthy …. I am πŸ’― jealous!!

That mocha water def didn’t sound appealing, but it’s good that the ice cream tasted so yummy! Also, I laughed at the waiters surprise that you both loved spicey food …. some of my international friends at school gave me the same wide-eyed shock when I told them how much I loved hot food! LOL!

I hope the Grinch was much better! I still need to see that – maybe this season! ❀️

    1. Aw thank you, LP! Our guys did so good lol. I loved that they got on so well, too. It truly was one of the most special experiences getting to meet them! ❀

My hair is almost getting TOO long. I wanna little trim but they always chop off way more than I ask for so I'm scared. 😦 Thank you so much though!!

Ah yeah, that matcha water was disgusting lol. Super chalky. The ice cream def made up for it though. Too funny you get the same reaction as boyfriend about liking hot foods! Asians always seem to be surprised hahaha.

The Grinch was definitely better than Jesus Christ Superstar but, I still have a few complaints. πŸ˜› Hope you love it if you do get to see it! ❀

  5. For the first time i get to see so much of your face on your blog! and omg your hair is freaking long!> how long did it take? and how did you maintain it! We really were so comfortable with each other, like we were just meeting up after awhile of not seeing each other. I think we’d have an awesome time if we got to hang out & we would eat SO much!!! ❀
