Hello lovelies! ❤ How have you been?!
Last time I wrote was, Tuesday, the 8th. After I published my post, boyfriend made us a vegan “chicken” patty pita sandwich.
He spread Cedar’s Jalapeno Hommus inside and stuffed it with shredded carrots, bell peppers, and lettuce. It was delicious!
On Wednesday, boyfriend made us a strange raspberry chicken salad for dinner. I spent most of my day watching TV and painting my nails.
Thursday, we had an All-American dinner with pork chops, Annie’s Vegan Cheddar Mac, and steamed broccoli. Mmm, mmm. ❤
Something in my bones told me not to go to work, so I stayed home, even after doing my makeup and hair. I thought it was laziness that I felt (LOL) but, when I went to work on Friday, I heard some type of huge competition that made the club a whole mess had been going on. Loads of my co-workers told me I was “lucky to have missed out.” Phew!
But anyhoo, since I was already all dolled up and had the roaring munchies, I wanted to go out to eat at Viet Noodle Bar.
We decided to share everything, starting with our favorite, fresh shrimp spring rolls. ❤
Then, we had a plate of egg rolls and a bowl of Bún Bò Huế.
*My mouth is watering just posting these photos, everything was SO good!!!
We also got their chicken wings; they are coated in two different sauces. One is meant to be more spicy but, surprisingly, I prefer the (darker colored) mild flavor better. Boyfriend is the opposite so it works out perfectly. 🙂
We came home and tried to watch a film on Netflix together, but I dozed off before 30 minutes passed by, lol. I’m the worst with movies!
On Friday, we had leftover chicken from Wednesday’s salad so, boyfriend reheated it, sliced it up and made us pita sandwiches again. 😀
This time he stuffed them with red cabbage, onions, and shredded carrots. Cedar’s Jalapeno Hommus was also spread inside, he steamed broccoli and dumped some Boulder Canyon’s Classic Sea Salt chips on the plate, too. It was more filling than I thought it would be and man, was it tasty!
On Saturday, we had an amazing salmon dinner with asparagus and “buttered” garlic pasta. We made a run to the dispensary and Total Wine for a bottle of Patròn. On our way there, boyfriend missed the turn into the parking lot so, we had to make a drive around the entire Las Vegas Strip before we could get back to the store, lol. That made our trip take a lot longer than we had planned!
Still, I got to work around 11 PM. It was alright but, not the best– especially for a Saturday. I was lucky to make what I did. 😛
Yesterday, pretty much all I did was eat dinner and watch the rest of 13 Reasons Why Season 03. My mind is still processing everything at the moment; I’m a bit boggled and don’t know how to feel or what to think.
Today, we woke up around 1 PM, both showered, smoked a blunt together, then, went out to eat at SkinnyFATS.
I cannot resist taking pictures of this place every time we go. It’s so darn artistic, quirky, and fun!
We grabbed the two ketchups we like best (Unipeppercorn and Jãlatcha) and water cups with super cute paper straws! Honestly, I prefer drinking water without a straw and the paper kind of made it taste weird, but, I had to show you guys the little smileys all over, hehe!
Boyfriend had the Cherry Popper (😏) Burger. It looked marvelous but, just seeing it made my stomach upset so, for once, I had self-control and didn’t take a bite. Of course, I stole quite a bit of those yummy sweet potato fries, though!
I had the, super PACKED, Thai Cobb Salad. I added the shaved beef, but, without it, the salad originally came with the sunny side up egg, mango bits, red pepper bits, and bacon, all dressed in a light peanut dressing.
When I asked the cashier if it had dairy, he just stood there like an idiot and was like, “umm… I would say it does.” Now, most of the time, peanut dressings do NOT have dairy so, I HIGHLY doubted his answer and was quite annoyed that he didn’t even offer to go ask the chef. I glared at him and said, “could you please go ask?” and he finally turned around, went back, just 2 steps away!!, and found out, I was right– it was dairy-free! Already, there aren’t a lot of options for me to choose from, so he almost took the one I wanted away. I was not happy but, I quickly got over it after tasting how scrum-diddly-umptious this was!!! ❤
The meat wasn’t chewy or fatty. It had a nice, salty seasoning incorporated all the way through– so dang flavorful! I loved the mangoes and red peppers so much and the dressing wasn’t the usual thick, peanut sauce. It was almost as light as a vinaigrette. I only wish there had been a little more of it on my lettuce!
There was this really stuck up couple next to us who got up and changed tables because I burped, LOL. He shot daggers in my head with his eyes and even scrunched up his nose. When I told boyfriend, we both started giggling (yeah, sorry, we can be immature at times) so, they got up, scoffed, and REALLY moved tables. Oh my gosh, I can’t believe people are that disgusted by BURPS! I even turned my face away from their table and covered my mouth with a napkin, which, I admit, I don’t always do. It was just a really loud one. 😂 Should I have said ‘sorry’ or ‘excuse me’ or something? Am I in the wrong here?! I thought all humans have gas. Like, at least it wasn’t a fart… there’s actually a reason to run away from those.
But, anyways, moving on!!
When we finished eating, we went to Starbucks and got our quad shots of espresso. We also stopped at the smoke shop for blunt wraps and boyfriend’s ciggies.
I’m gonna go do my hair and makeup and get my booty to work tonight. 😛 Since, it’s getting slower again, going into winter… I’m gonna try my best to work 4 days a week instead of 3. My work schedule’s going to change from Thurs-Sat to Mon, Tues, Fri and Sat, starting from this week on. Wish me luck!
I hope you all have a wonderful week!! ❤
