Oh my gosh, I know I keep talking about it but, I swear, Thayers Witch Hazel Facial Toner in Rose Petal may have actually been made by witches. It’s magical! (Sorry, I had to start this off with such a bad joke, lol.)
My new friend, Jenni (@xo, jenni) and I have a LOT in common. Unfortunately, one of those things is… eczema. She mentioned using Go-To Face Hero on her dry patches and I remembered I got my very own bottle of the stuff in May’s Ipsy Plus. I hadn’t used it yet and was very excited to finally give it a try. It’s truly been healing up my elbow, I haven’t seen this much improvement in sooo long. It’s feeling less itchy and scaly everyday! (I’m also still applying my LXMI Balm over top the oil and it just feels amazing together.)
I got this mini tube of Smashbox Cosmetics Studio Skin 24 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation in the shade 3.18 Neutral in my Sept. Ipsy Glam Bag. It matches me the most perfectly out of the other foundations I currently have so, I’m going to keep using it until it’s all gone.
The Smashbox foundation doesn’t spread that nicely or evenly on its own but, I found it’s quite beautiful on top of the Yensa Tone Up Primer Essential Glow. I also think my skin is getting brighter just from using this underneath my makeup?
Cordelia (@Violet Palace) inspired me to pull out my long lost Cover FX Glitter Drops in Nova. While the sparkles are super chunky and dramatic, they only go where you want them, they don’t just spread all over your entire face.
On my nails, I’m wearing OPI Nail Lacquer in Midnight in Moscow. I used Essie All-in-One (not pictured) for a base and top coat.
We are smoking 3 Pac by Mojave of Greenleaf Enterprises INC. As you can see… it’s almost time for another run to the dispensary.
To hit you with a double whammy, Pamela (@Starring Pamela) gave me the best idea to save all my playbills and put them into a big binder. I was able to fit all of last season’s and all of the other shows I went to before I had my subscription. I’ll definitely need another one for all of this season’s!
The second item is… my “spooky”-themed blanket that I set up in the background. 😀 I bought it from Ross for less than $10. It’s super soft and, oh so, adorable!! There are dogs AND cats on it but, I’m sad only the dogs are really showing in the (above) photos.
Of course, after raving about The Honest Co. wipes, they went and changed it! The packaging is different and supposedly “improved” but, I am NOT convinced. They are WAY too wet and a lot thinner now… I usually buy them from Albertsons for around $4 but, I spotted them at Sprouts, selling for… nearly $9! I would definitely never, ever pay that for baby wipes. Even if they went back to their old formula.
The temps have FINALLY dropped a smidgen over here and I got to take my first of many hot bubble baths without sweating to death. So lovely and relaxing. ❤
Speaking of the change in seasons, I am using a phone theme called Autumn Letter by PhintonART. I’m looking for a more spooky one now, though.
Grillo’s Pickles Hot Spears are SO addicting! This is already our second tub because we ran through the first one quick as ever. They have a tiny bite of spice and actual dill leaves and peppers floating around. Mmm, mmm!
Izzio Lucky Seven Multigrain is our new go-to loaf of bread! It’s so freaking good plainly toasted with a little Earth Balance Original spread on top. I like how they’re not the traditional square-ish shape, they’re way bigger, rounder, and more firm, similar to complimentary restaurant breads.
I cannot recommend Mom’s Best Cereals enough. Currently, we have our second box of Crispy Cocoa Rice and are almost done with our huge box of Honey Nut Toasty O’s, too. I’m telling you, these taste BETTER than actual Cocoa Pebbles and Cheerios.
I’m pretty positive that I’ve shared Cedar’s Hommus in a previous Currentlys… post before but, was it this awesome Mediterranean flavor? (Probably, lol.) It’s seriously the best one you can find in-stores. The consistency is perfectly thick and so so tasty. I have learned my lesson and won’t be buying any other brands anymore!
Sorry, we ate half our Irish Soda Bread before I took a photo of it. A lady at Sprouts was giving out samples of this bread all the way back in March but, at the time, we had enough sweets at home so we didn’t buy a loaf. We thought it’d be there next time but, sadly, we were mistaken! FINALLY, they recently returned for a short period and I didn’t think twice before putting one in our cart. They are dairy-free deliciousness which is extremely hard to find in the freshly baked goods section!
I am always excited when we run out of honey because there are loads of different ones to choose from nowadays. I picked up the Ambrosia Honey Co. Amber Harvest for the first time and oh my, it makes my tastebuds sing. It’s super pure and clean, I can’t even explain it.
I have been drizzling the honey over tons and tons of fruit. Currently, my #1 favorite snack.
Last up in this category– I am still drinking Kicking Horse Coffee but, decided to try their Three Sisters Medium Roast during a BOGO Free sale. It’s good but, you know, I am a dark roast girl at heart.
I’m on Episode 5 of 13 Reasons Why Season 03. I’m not as invested as the first two seasons because like… who the fuck cares about Bryce Walker? And Clay looks so weird and skinny, lol. What happened to him?
I watched a LOT of Glee episodes when it was on TV but, never from beginning to end. I just started from the first episode of the first season and will probably continue until the end. 🙂 I can’t wait! There are certain parts I clearly remember but, it’s interesting to see the things that lead up to them that I completely forgot about. Plus, the music and singing, hello! It makes me giddy!
Currently, I am reading a super hyped book. My expectations are probably too high. Maybe you’ve heard of it? The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I’ve gotten through about 40% and thought most of it was rather predictable… very well written and interesting but, I saw every single thing coming before it even did… we’ll see if I find all the hype by the end… (fingers crossed!)
