Hiya babes! Let’s just jump into this right away and pick up where we left off. 🙂 On Thursday, Sept. 26th, we were out of groceries at home but, weren’t in the mood to go out and do a full out shop so, we went to Albertsons and picked up some raw chicken breasts, which were on sale– BOGO FREE, like always (?), and two salad kits.
I got the Taylors Farm Asian one, as usual, because it’s nearly the only dairy-free option besides Sunflower Crunch which gets sickening to me. Boyfriend pan-fried some seasoned chicken to mix in. Mmm, mmm! ❤
I thought I was going to be able to go to work but, my period was still lingering. I blame it on the Excedrin I had to take for my migraine.
Since I stayed home, we got to watch the Big Brother finale! This was the first season I watched from beginning to end in a LONG while. I thought the winner was so absolutely deserving but, the jury questions and accusations from the other house guests completely ruined the winning moment.
Feeling a little sad that I’m done with my Reality TV shows until next summer, I looked through what Netflix had to offer in the genre. We watched an episode and a half of the Emoji game show but, then, boyfriend kept making fun of the host so, I was like “alright, you hate him that much? We have to watch something else” LOL. Luckily, we moved on because we had just enough time in the night to watch every single episode of The Rap Game. These 5 internet famous kids were chosen by Jermaine Dupri to compete in a few challenges and the winner was signed to his record label. It was so cute, fast-paced, and drama-filled. Just my type of TV. 😉
On Friday, it was my time to go back to work. Of course, we had chicken breasts for dinner.
I got into work around midnight thirty and my very best regular was already there waiting for me. He had FOUR more THC cartridges to gift me and I just couldn’t believe how meant to be it was that he was there. I had just started smoking the last one from the previous bunch he gave me. We spent the entire night together, until a little past 6:30 AM. I felt bad because I cut him off at the end, saying “I’m sooo tired” LOL, I was seriously about to pass out though. I had to go home!!
When boyfriend picked me up, my head felt so dazed. I knew I needed to get a bite to eat or I’d be dealing with a hellish hangover the next day. I didn’t want to have McDonald’s so we went to Eggscellent. Luckily, they open at 7 AM. 🙂
Boyfriend got their breakfast burrito. He was complaining about how big the potatoes were the whole time and it was nothing special in taste.
I got a skillet with pulled beef, sweet potatoes, red peppers, onions, and 2 poached eggs topped with a creamy, delicious hollandaise sauce. I told them ‘no cheese‘ but, I couldn’t pass on that sauce… ❤ Sadly, the pulled beef was quite plain! I ate all of the eggs, and that’s about it.
The cats needed food so we went to grab their favorite from Albertsons. We decided to pick up lunch meat and sandwich toppings, too. We knew we’d be waking up late the next day (aka yesterday).
It was nearly 6 PM when I rolled out of bed and got ready for the day. We hadn’t thought about sides for our sandwiches so, we still ended up having to make a trip back to Albertsons before we could eat. Lol, what a fail, right?
I got chicken noodle soup from the deli and boyfriend got a Caesar salad. We also got some salt and vinegar pop chips by Kroger. They were super weird… I’ll stick to the real Pop Chips from now on.
We already had hamburger buns so, we just used those for the bread. Boyfriend toasted it, spread mayo on it, and stuffed it fat with roast beef, turkey, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. It was so good!
I got into work around 12 AM and left at 4 AM. I was beyond exhausted and couldn’t stop yawning! I finally got The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo checked out to me after waiting half a year so, I started reading it until I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore (about 5%).
Today, boyfriend and I woke up around the same time, a bit past 3 PM. I read a few blogs on my Reader before taking a shower. When I got out, we smoked a blunt and thought about a place to eat. Boyfriend suggested Red Pot and it was crazy because I already had it on my mind!
We noticed they didn’t have any crab legs out so, we thought maybe they had just run out for the day. We didn’t ask about it until the end and they informed us that the AYCE price was reduced so, the crab legs came as an ‘add-on‘ now. We were a bit bummed because we so would’ve paid to have them. 😦 But, oh well. We were satisfied and filled to the brim with all of their other goodies. I ate a lot of shrimp and tripe. 😉
For our broths, we chose Spicy Miso and Spicy Green Curry. Next time, we’ll pick two different ones. These were probably our least favorites, so far. We also had an Iced Lychee Green Tea to share. It was awesome; super refreshing and not too sweet at all!
On our way home, we stopped at Starbucks for dessert. Courtney shared the Pink Drink on her blog and me, being a lover of all things pink, knew I needed to try it. I thought it was one of those ‘secret‘ drinks but, it’s actually on the menu! It tastes like that Strawberry Creme Savers candy– you know which I’m talking about? It was extreeeemely sweet but, still, very addicting. I’m glad boyfriend and I are sharing it, though, I def could not finish one on my own. Not even this ‘tall‘-size. We have it in our fridge now and are both taking sips in intervals.
The baristas see us nearly everyday there so, the one who rang us up actually gave it to us for free because she heard me say to boyfriend, ‘let’s just try it on the side!‘ What a sweetie! ❤ We also ordered two Venti Vanilla Bean Creme frapps with 3 shots of espresso each. Mine with almond milk, his with cow’s.
I’ve been typing this pretty much since we got home so we’re all caught up now. 🙂 I have my Sept. Glam Bag, a book review, a TV shows review, and a Currentlys all coming up this week so stay tuned, if you’re interested!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and the best upcoming week. ❤
