Hiya babes πŸ™‚ we’ve got quite a bit to talk about today! Even though I wrote last Wednesday, I didn’t catch you all the way up because I didn’t want to rush through my Wicked Musical Review!!

SO, as promised, we’ll start from Monday, Sept. 16th.

Boyfriend and I started our day off with a grocery shop at Sprouts. They had their fall decor out and this cute little area made me feel especially “autumnal.” Our weather hasn’t quite cooled down yet so, it’s hard to feel that way around here, but the festive pumpkins are definitely helping!

Boyfriend cooked up a chicken chili for us when we got home and we ate it while catching up on Big Brother. When we finished, we went to Ross. I knew I needed another Cargo Palette and I wanted to see what this other store had to offer. If you saw my post that night, Beauty Buys #4, you’ll see I hit the dang jackpot over there!

I spent my entire night playing with all the makeup, taking photos of it, swatching and testing formulas, and then, writing my post.

On Tuesday, Sept. 17th… I saw WICKED THE MUSICAL! To say I was only “excited” for this one would be an extreme understatement. In 6th grade, my class did a music concert where we sang “For Good” as the finale. All the lights turned off and a slideshow of me and my classmates were played. I knew there would be memories and emotions stirred when I FINALLY got to hear this song LIVE.

I woke up a little earlier than usual because I really wanted to do my makeup, a simple green eyeshadow I spotted in one of my new palettes was calling out to me (Kai in the You Had Me At Aloha Cargo Palette).

My face looks super white because 1) I used the CiatΓ© powder for the first time and WAY too much of it… and 2) I never got to put on any blush, bronzer, or highlighter! I may have woke up early enough to start my face but, not finish it. 😦 LOL. Oh well, usually, I go with none at all so I was still proud of what I did.

When I arrived at The Smith Center, the lobby was way more packed than EVER before. There were two souvenir stands when there’s usually one. (The only other time there were two was during Lion King).

The Understudy Board was up and to be honest, it made me feel a little disheartened. I wanted to see the SUPERSTARS, the ones who were MADE for the roles, y’know? But, BOY, was I proven wrong.

I rushed to my seat so I could get a good photo before all the heads came pouring in. The Wicked advertisements have been all over the place so, I knew what the playbill cover would look like but, it still felt special to get it in my own hands.

I, personally, would have preferred that dragon at the top of the stage to be removed. It did nothing for the story– it obscured our view just to breathe out smoke and make loud noises at the right times.

I may be the only one, but, going in, I had NO idea what Wicked was even about. All I knew was that there was a song in there that I LOVED and couldn’t wait to hear. All these years, I have strayed away from ANY and all spoilers of the show because I knew I’d watch it one day.

And you guys, my day finally came, and I was blown away. More amazed than I ever thought I would be.

Beka Burnham, as Glinda, was mesmerizing… how could she be the understudy?! There were TWO other Glindas chosen over her (for different dates) and I just can’t believe anyone could be better. I did detect that her and Elphaba’s (played by Mariand Torres) voices did not mesh well together at all, it caused me to assume that Mariand Torres was cast first and needed a more complementing Glinda?

Elphaba (Mariand Torres) lacked pizazz. Her solo, I’m Not That Girl in Act I, was shaky and her ending to Defying Gravity nearly ruined the iconic song. Always finishing strong and hard doesn’t automatically win my heart or give me those goosebumps– the beginning, what adds up to that, it also needs to be beautiful. I want to be built up, and aching to hear that last note. I just didn’t get that with her. Her voice didn’t move me, and at times, it even irked me. It never truly felt like she was in character either.

04:56 PM-06:18 PM Dinner Break, Frappuccino Run & Smoke Sesh

The most outstanding and surprisingly beautiful singing voice belonged to Elphaba’s sister, Nessarose (played by Amanda Fallon Smith). She never faltered and I only wish there had been more solos sung by her! Fiyero, who was also played by an understudy (Aidan Wharton), was so lovable.

Of course, For Good, was my absolute favorite musical number and I waited the entire show for it so, inevitably, my tears poured out when I finally heard it… Glinda (Beka Burnham), sang every word with so much heart and pure beauty. I was melting and never wanted it to end! And, gosh, just to fangirl even harder over Glinda (Beka Burnham), her I’m Not That Girl (Reprise) in Act II, stole the show. She has my entire heart!

The stage setup and costumes were all absolutely stunning, 100% top-notch. A lot of impressive machines and mechanical work was included but hey, I expected nothing less from such a popular production. The story, the songs, the characters… every single thing about Wicked is phenomenal and it deserves MORE than the hype it already gets.

I will go as far as saying that it is my new #1 favorite Broadway Musical.

Phew! Moving on! The next day, Wednesday, Sept. 18th, I woke up kind of early and wrote my last Journal Entry before signing off to play Sims 4. I did nothing else with my time.

Thursday, Sept. 19th, I went to work so, you probably know the drill. Smoke, eat, Starbucks, smoke, write and publish a blog post, do makeup and hair, smoke one more blunt, drink a couple cocktails and then, off I go. πŸ˜› That night, I didn’t have anymore alcohol at work so, I sobered up by the end. It wasn’t horrible but, the time moved so slow.

By Friday, Sept. 20th, I had no more booze in the freezer and we were completely out of food (groceries and leftovers). It only made sense that we hit two birds with one stone and go to Town Square where there’s tons of food spots AND a Total Wine, all in the same vicinity.

We always hear the Capriotti’s commercials on the radio so it was about time we gave their sandwiches a try.

I went for the Grilled Italian something or other. You can probably tell by the looks of it that I wasn’t the biggest fan. It wasn’t bad or anything but… I wouldn’t choose to go here over any other sandwich shop. Everything just seemed… cheap.

Boyfriend had a Philly Cheese Steak that didn’t really taste like one. We’ve had some really freakin’ good Phillies in the past so, we were highly disappointed with this dry hunk of crap.

At Total Wine, I spotted the BEST apple cider you can find in-stores (nothing beats an orchard).

These babies are MY go-to fall drink! F*** a pumpkin spice latte… heat me up some Martinelli’s Apple Cider, please! ❀ (I’ll even drink it cold but, not preferably).

After Total Wine, we drove-thru Starbucks for our quad shots of espresso over ice, came home, smoked, I wrote and published a blog post, did my hair and makeup, smoked, drank booze, and then, I went in to work. I checked in around midnight and all of my co-workers were already there… I could barely see any customers under all their laps.

The night ended up alright. Boyfriend picked me up a bit past 3 AM and I was hungry as heck, so to Bar Code Burger we went.

We cut the Hangover Burger (no cheese) in half and shared it along with their awesome Bangin’ Wings.

On Saturday, the 21st, we went back to Sprouts and grocery shopped for three new recipes. They have the best deals on the weekend if you have their app! We picked up a BBQ seasoned rotisserie chicken, macaroni salad, and a seafood salad to eat for dinner. There was no way we would have the patience to wait for boyfriend to cook something up.

I got lucky at work and found a non-time wasting client to spend the entire night with. I was only a little butthurt because going into the room, he let me choose the PatrΓ³n but, at the end, he wanted to bring it to his hotel! Lol. I know he paid for it but, most of the time, they let me keep it. Maybe I’m just being spoiled. πŸ˜›

On Sunday, since we had already went grocery shopping, we didn’t have to go anywhere all day! Boyfriend made us a hot dog chili “cheese” bake. I know, it sounds gross, but wait until you see it in a future Recipe Reviews. πŸ˜‰

I wanted to play Sims 4 but, when I turned it on I felt bored and dizzy. I decided to find something on Netflix to watch… I haven’t scrolled through their selection in awhile and found too many things I need to start or catch up on.

Unbelievable caught my eye first and that’s exactly what it was. The title speaks for itself. I watched it until I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore.

On Monday, I woke up around 4 AM, puking my guts out. The night before, while I was watching the show, my PMS cravings and munchies forced me to feed them pizza so I asked boyfriend to go pick us up one from 7 Eleven. It was actually better than you expect, especially for $5. It’s not the first time we’ve had it and neither of us has ever gotten sick.

I don’t blame the gas station. I am worried that I am more than lactose intolerant now… possibly, I’m allergic to it??? Ugh. I don’t know.

I woke up again at 6 AM, with more to throw up… (out both ends)! I have no idea what was wrong with me but, I did realize my Aunt Flo was here to visit. I’ve never thrown up from my period before? Is that normal?

Around noon, I woke up again, finally not nauseated but, definitely with a cramped stomachache…

I went back to sleep to finally feel better around my normal wake up time, 3 PM. I immediately went back to Unbelievable and finished watching the series. I will write a full review on it soon, if you care!

*Bonus* A photo of my sweet boys snuggling for a text break. ❀

We caught up with Big Brother then, decided it was time to watch the finale of Love Island Season 05! I was not happy about the winners… but, whatever. The couples I root for always get second and/or third place! It’s a curse, really. The only time it has gone my way was Season 01.

I fell asleep during The Reunion episode because I had a roaring migraine. It was only 8 PM so I slept on the couch for a few hours while boyfriend stayed up. When my body started getting stiff and my head STILL didn’t feel better, we went to the bedroom. I just passed out and tried my best to sleep it off but, every time I woke up to use the restroom, my head and eyes pounded harder. I finally gave in around 3 AM and asked boyfriend to give me 2 Excedrin pills. I, then, woke up around 4:30 AM, headache-free and super well-rested. I read a ton of blogs on my Reader and started a new book.

Boyfriend woke up around 10ish and we chatted until we both fell back to sleep. We got up, for good, around 4 PM and had leftover Shrimp Lo Mein that boyfriend made the day before. We saw that American Horror Story: Apocalypse was finally uploaded to Netflix (*shriek!*). We binge-watched the entire series together. We ate lots of cereal, smoked tons of blunts, and went on a midnight McDonald’s run.

Then, I saw Season 03 of Thirteen Reasons Why is up. I fell asleep before finishing the first episode but, bet your bottom dollar, I’ll be watching the rest of it ASAP.

TODAY, I woke up around 11 AM. I read some blogs and a chunk of Deserve to Die (the book I’m Currently Reading). I hopped in the shower around 3 PM while boyfriend got up to go to the dispensary. I took photos of my Ipsy Glam Bag products on the balcony and nearly had a heat stroke. The sun would NOT get off me and it was blazing hot.

When boyfriend got home, we smoked a blunt while I organized a few books onto my different Goodreads shelves then, I hopped onto WordPress to check my notifications. I’ve been writing this ever since minus the small intermission in the middle.

We had dinner, boyfriend made bacon wrapped pork tenderloins with roasted potato spears, and we watched a little bit of Bring The Funny. We’re halfway through the finale episode and are so confused. I don’t think Hulu included every single episode of the season… but, at least we’ll get to see who wins.

I needed caffeine and something sweet. A Vanilla Bean Creme Frapp from Starbucks sounded like the ultimate dessert!!

There was a long line in the drive-thru AND inside– other people were totally reading our minds!! Everyone ahead of us ordered different flavored frapps, too. It must be the weather and all of us holding onto summer.

Anywho, shall I get out of your hair now? I’m off to catch up on my Reader, write a couple drafts for my future posts, and organize more of my shelves on Goodreads.

Have a wonderful rest of your week! ❀

08:24 PM

P.S. Did you notice I changed my theme colors and header to match the season? Do you like it?

P.P.S. How annoying is WordPress when they send all your freakin’ comments to spam?! Or does that only happen to me?! Please, check yours… if you got a ‘like’ from me recently, I bet there was a comment attached to it somewhere, too.

  1. I am so jealous you got to see Wicked! What an incredible experience! I’ve read the book before and have only heard amazing things about the musical!

I tend to get migraines during my periodβ€”-and because of that I can throw up from it. I always have excedrin on me. Always!

I’ve heard of Unbelievable! My brother actually is one of the hosts for the After Buzz that talks about the show. I should be a good sister and watch some episodes πŸ˜…

    1. Ahhh, Wicked was so amazing. I was seriously blown away. I honestly didn’t even know there was a book! I had no idea it was basically like, the prequel, to Wizard of Oz! Super fascinating!

Ugh, my Aunt Flo was not nice to me this month. 😦 I hate taking Excedrin or Midol because it makes my period last longer. They are serious lifesavers though.

Whaaat?!! That’s so cool that your bro is on a discussion show about Unbelievable. What’s his name? Lol. I don’t usually like to watch stuff like that but I wanna see him!

      1. His name is Jack and if you want to see what he looks like you can just go to YouTube and type in unbelievable afterbuzz πŸ™‚

Wicked was a really interesting book! It definitely made me wander how they pulled off a broadway show of it!

Agree. Excedrin is a double edged sword!

  2. Hey! Girl, I’m one of the few that knows very little about Wicked. I absolutely adore ‘defying gravity’ and love the Glee version, any ither just doesn’t sound right to me. Having said that, if I saw it at the thatre I’m sure I’d think differently. Thats a shame that the song was a little shaky at the end, it’s such a strong song!

How can they mess up a philly steak sandwich? Thays awful!

Hope you’re feeling much better soon, and that you can have a good Simsathon! Xxx

    1. Oh my gosh, Glee!!! There are some songs I first heard on there that don’t sound right to me in their original version either LOL. ‘Defying Gravity’ still sounded amazing, but exactly, Elphaba’s voice just wasn’t strong enough to chill me!

I KNOW. It was just super dry & tasted like nothing, really. :/

Thank you so much!! Sadly, I didn’t play the Sims once my whole week off. I watched so much TV.

  3. Wicked is ON my list and you’ve made me want to see it even more now… your new number one Broadway show? Oh em geee sounds amazing! And Beka Burnham sounds super talented.. I’m going to check her out on Instagram for sure. Your review is so thorough and perfect hun, I love it. Eeek and your makeup looks gorgeous! I love how you went for a green eyeshadow… reminds me of Wicked hehe. Your skin looks flawless too! Beauty ❀️❀️

Omg you finally finished Love Island! Ahhhhh! Who did you want to win? I was actually happy with the winners… but also liked the other couples. Thoughts on Maura? I think she is HILARIOUS omg I love her haha. Can’t wait to read your thoughts!!!!

This post was so much fun to read beauty, one of my favourite of yours ❀️❀️ Thanks so much for sharing, I hope you have a great week! Xx

    1. Hi Gorgeous!!! I think I sent you a comment recently that may have got lost in your spam box. 😦

Wicked is a MUST SEE show. I was so mesmerized by it all. ❀ I had never even thought to look up the cast members. What a fun idea lol! Beka Burnham stole my heart, for sure. Thank you for reading my little review!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it & thought it was perfect, that means a lot. ❀ Lol, the green eyeshadow was meant to match the play, hehe. Happy you noticed!! ❀ Thanks so much!

I did not expect Amber & Greg to win! I REALLY wanted Molly Mae & Tommy. They are so darn freakin' cute. I honestly was hoping Belle & Anton were going to stay over Amber & Greg, too. I lovelovelove Maura, she has to be one of my absolute favorite cast members ever!!! She cracked me the heck up. I wasn't a huge fan of Curtis though!

Aw wow, one of your fave posts from me?! ❀ You're too sweet! That makes me so happy! Thanks so much for stopping by. ❀ Hope you have an amazing weekend!!

  4. So sorry to hear you got sick! Being nauseous is probably one of the worst feelings in the world.

I got very curious about Unbelievable when I saw the trailer on Netflix; I usually love β€œbased on true events” stories. Haven’t started watching it yet though.

Oh my gosh, would love to hear your thoughts on 13 Reasons Why Season 3 once you’re done! I binged seasons 2 & 3 just last month cause I was so behind. I definitely have some opinions!

    1. Thank you, Erica 😦 being nauseous & headaches are the worst!

Unbelievable was really addicting. I did not want to stop watching until I got to the end. I love when they make “true events” into a movie, or series… it’s so interesting. Would love to hear your thoughts if you do watch it!

I watched a few more episodes of 13 Reasons Why S3 today. It’s not grabbing my attention as much as the first two seasons but I’m still watching til the end, for sure! Can’t wait to discuss it with you when I finish it! πŸ™‚

  5. omg i looooove that green shadow on you – it is such a gorgeous color.

What a bummer that Elphaba in Wicked didn’t blow you away – I would have been disappointed because Gravity is my favorite from the musical, but it is great that Glenda’s understudy still did such an amazing job.

LOL i’m with you on PSL vs Apple Cider – I’d def take some fresh apple cider over PSL anyway of the week!!

I’ve actually never seen any of the seasons of Thirteen Reasons Why, but I did love the original book. For the first time (probably ever), I binged an entire new series on Netflix…. Unbelievable. OMG it was so so good. I don’t normally go for cop-type shows, but damn this was incredible.

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Thanks, babe!! πŸ™‚ I thought the shade was perfect for Wicked!!

Ah, I’m still a bit disappointed in the Elphaba I watched. All of the songs just could have been so much better… Defying Gravity is absolutely gorgeous though & still was not completely ruined. & yes!! Glinda’s understudy was the best!!

Yay! SO glad you agree about the apple cider over PSL. ❀ We may be the only ones. πŸ˜‰

I read the original book when I was in high school & it had always been one of my favorites. The series is completely haywire & not the same but still so good…

Oh my gosh, glad you watched & got hooked on Unbelievable, too. It was insane, right? I could not stop watching!

  6. Omg, I have always always wanted to watch Wicked! I hope it comes to my country soon! IT SOUNDS SO FREAKING AMAZING!
Urgh as usual the burgers and wings, always making my stomach growl.
HAHAHA that little goddamnit moment when he takes the patron with him!
Omg, now i wonder if its the dairy or if its unsanitary cause that seems like a violent reaction! And no I don’t think vomiting is normal during your period. YES I WANNA HEAR YOUR REVIEW ON UNBELIEVABLE! I’ve just been watching old shows again because I don’t know which new show to commit to. Omg yes apocalypse finally came! I’m kinda bored though, does it get better? ooo, A vanilla bean creme frapp sounds so delicious, I’m gonna see if they have it here next time i pass by! And yess I see them warm tones fresh on your blog hehe!

    1. I hope Wicked tours to your country someday, too! It’s a must-see show! ❀ Burgers & wings always make my stomach growl, too. LOL. I was totally bummed when he said he wanted to take the Patron, I wasn't expecting him to say he would at all! Totally caught off-guard hahah.

I know, I read you would only throw up if you are allergic to milk but it's never happened to me before. Boyfriend didn't get sick so not sure if it was a sanitation thing?! I have no idea what was wrong!

I will definitely write a review about Unbelievable soon. I have never been bored with AHS, it's just so creative & amazing to me… every season I have loved so I can't say if it has improved lol, of course, I am gonna say WATCH IT!!

Ooh, I'd love to see the different flavors your Starbucks has than ours. Vanilla Bean Creme frapp is so yummy & one of their only syrups without dairy even though it is called 'creme.' πŸ˜› Thanks for checking out the new colors on my blog!!

  7. I’ve never seen the musical Wicked, but I have the book which is really good. You said you didn’t know what it was about. Have you ever seen The Wizard of Oz? If yes, then the play is a prequel to The Wizard of Oz if not you should definitely see if you can find the original with Judy Garland it’s an absolute classic!! I used to watch it every year as a kid before Thanksgiving.

As far as the getting sick part I don’t think your period would make you throw up. You may have either had a 24hr bug, ate something that went bad in your stomach or you may be lactose intolerant and might want to ask your doctor but in any case glad you are feeling better!!

Also I’m on Goodreads too!! It’s such a great site for keeping track of all my books!! If you like you can look me up by my name Janine Treannie. πŸ™‚ β™₯

    1. Yes! I know Wizard of Oz, I read & watched that one! & oh my gosh, that’s exactly what I thought of Wicked, I was like, “is this the prequel??” I loved it, it was super fascinating!!

Ah, I think you’re right. It was 24hr bug of some sort? I am totally lactose intolerant but, it says you would only throw up if you are allergic to milk? I don’t know what was wrong! I am feeling MUCH better now though, thank you so much!

On my way to find you on Goodreads now. πŸ™‚

  8. I’ve heard of people say Wicked is a great musical. Glad you really liked it even though a few things were not to your liking.
I’ve never had apple cider warm or hot? I like it cold because thats the only way I’ve had it lmao
I’m gonna go ahead and add Bar Code Burger to the list so Alex and can try it lol.
Oooooh macaroni salad actually sounds really good I havent had it in a while!
I’ll have to try the 7-11 pizza, I’ve never had it before because I always assumed it wouldn’t sit well with me lol
Girl I feel the same way about dairy, like even if I dont consume a lot of it I pay for it hours later with stomachaches and sometimes its right after I eat it too πŸ˜– I found some vegan ice cream made from almonds I think and daiya cream cheese, the only one i could find at fred meyer that was dairy and soy free.
I’m so behind on reading only because I’ve been reading books instead. I actually stayed up last night to finish the first one so one of my bucket list items for fall is underway 😁
I will wait a bit longer to watch love island. And you’ll have to update us on how you like 13RW as it goes on because I have a lot of opinions on it as a whole.
Hope you have a great weekend!.

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Oh man, Wicked was sooo good. Even though I would have preferred a different actress for Elphaba, it was still my fave so far. ❀ Apple cider is good cold but… it's magnificent warmed up!! They probably sell it hot at the pumpkin patches??

YESSS!! Add Barcode to the list. Their burgers are the best I've ever had!! Lately, I've been really into mayo-based salads. I never used to like 'em before but now, I can't get enough.

Oh my gosh, I don't recommend the 7-11 pizza, maybe it was the reason I got sick but boyfriend didn't just because he has a stomach made of steel LOL. I hate all vegan ice cream… real ice cream is alwaaaays better. 😦

Oh! If you like cream cheese & sour cream, you should look for the Tofutti brand– seriously can't taste the difference. I've never tried Daiya cream cheese before though!

Are you going to write any reviews for the books you've been reading? I'm curious to see what books you've finished. πŸ™‚

Did you watch S3 of 13RW??

Thank you, love!! Hope you have a great weekend, too!! ❀

      Liked by 1 person

      1. Hmm.. I’ll have to look into it and hopefully they do serve it LOL. I would like to try it hot πŸ™‚
I’ll have to try mayo based salads too and see what I think of them. I’ve had like cold pasta salads that use mayo as the base as well and they’re not so bad.
I tried a slice of the 7-11 pizza today and was not a fan LOL. So far I haven’t felt off but who knows later tonight haha
Agreed. The vegan ice cream I got was made with almonds I think? I got chocolate flavored and it was ok but I really missed the creamy thickness of real ice cream 😦 may have to treat myself to it a few times a month lol
I have tried the Toffuti cream cheese and was not a fan. I also got their sour cream and same, not a fan of the taste lol. I liked the Daiya cream cheese better for some reason.
I don’t think I will. When I did book reviews they were the least popular so I just stopped writing them LOL.
And yes, I watched the entire season of 13RW like a week or two after it was released.

        Liked by 1 person

        1. Let me know if you try the hot apple cider! πŸ™‚ I like potato, macaroni, seafood, & potato mayo based salads lol. The 7-11 pizza is like sweet & kinda weird, right? But, they are 24-7 & still better than frozen, in my opinion. I’m scared of them now though lol.

I knoooow, right? Real ice cream is too good to imitate lol.

Really?? I’ve never tried Daiya. I don’t really like cream cheese OR sour cream though, even with dairy, to be honest. πŸ˜› I never buy either of them.

Aw, if you like writing the reviews, who cares about the views but, hey, you can add them to Goodreads. πŸ™‚ LOL when the heck did 13RW Season 3 come out? Why did I just see it recently??

          Liked by 1 person

          1. Ah then yes I’ve had those, definitely the potato and the macaroni ones, I’ve blanked on those for some reason haha
I will never get 7-11 pizza again, it wasn’t a satisfying slice lol.
OMG I LOVE CREAM CHEESE AND SOUR CREAM LOL I don’t know why haha
True that. And S3 was released….August 23rd I wanna say?

            Liked by 1 person

            1. Lol I don’t blame you for not wanting that 7-11 pizza again. Me neither!! & boyfriend loves both sour cream & cream cheese, too. πŸ˜› I can’t believe S3 was out that long ago! WOW, I’m slow haha.

  9. Oh my goodness, I’m sorry you were so sick!! That sounds terrible! Gas station pizza sounds a little iffy, and even if you’ve had it before, I guess all it takes is one time for it to be contaminated. Whatever it was that made you sick, I’m so sorry you had to go through that!
I’ve never seen Wicked or read much about it, but it sounds amazing!!
Mmm LOVE the vanilla bean frapp! I haven’t had one in forever and definitely need one now lol. Also, I tried the PSL as a frapp and it was incredible! My new favorite. (and I don’t even like that hot PSL at all!).

    Liked by 1 person

    1. LOL yeah, you’re right, it was probably the gas station. Boyfriend just has a stomach made of steel so that’s why he didn’t get sick from it. πŸ˜›

Wicked was truly magical!! I don’t know if I told you too much it may be spoilery so I will keep it to myself.

I could see the PSL being tasty as a frapp, maybe I’ll give it a go. Next time, you go, you gotta try this: a Coffee Frappucino with cookie crumble mixed in!! It’s my new fave. ❀

      Liked by 1 person

      1. No worries! When I do end up enjoying Wicked, I’m sure it will all be new to me then lol.
Oh my goodness, a coffee frappucino with cookie crumble sounds amazing!! Thank you for the recommendation. Totally have to try that!

  10. Wicked is one of those musicals where the music on it’s own is amazing but in person it’s just magical! I personally love the character of Nessarose so much and wish she got more solos as well. The actresses for Nessa are just always incredible. Sorry your Elphaba wasn’t as great but your Glinda sounds amazing! Sometimes understudies are even better too because they tend to be more rested, I’ve noticed. Glad you finally got to see Wicked in person!

    1. Oh my gosh, I had no idea just how amazing the songs would be in person, I was absolutely floored! I’m not sure how I feel about the character of Nessarose, I feel a little bitter towards her but at the same time, understood where she was coming from. The actress that played her was definitely incredible. It’s interesting to know they always are! That must be true about the understudy being more well-rested, makes so much sense! I’m so glad I got to see it, too. ❀ Thanks so much for reading, Pamela!!

    1. Gosh, I know, right? He is TOO sweet & kind. β™‘ & seriously, new bedding is the best! Plushy is totally a word because I know exactly what you mean, hehe.

I really liked A Simple Favor. I’ll have to write a full review on it soon. πŸ™‚ Blake looked so gorgeous in every scene, I don’t even think I could pull off anything she wore in the film!

      1. He sounds like a wonderful person πŸ™‚
Yes Blake Lively is just too beautiful! She totally rocks every look, but girl I’m with you, I’d look mental if I rocked up in a 3 piece suit with gloves… maybe I’ll channel her style one day for fancy dress? X
