Hey babes! After I published my entry on Sunday, I went straight to playing Sims 4 for the rest of my night. 😀
Yesterday, we went to Chipotle. I tried their Barbacoa meat for the first time; I still mixed in half steak but, I reeeeally enjoyed it. I will continue getting it from now on. Boyfriend got his usual, chicken.
We went to Starbucks for our iced espressos, came home, smoked a blunt, and wrote my book review for Roomies, then I got ready for work. I had a cocktail while attempting to organize my Goodreads TBR. I have nearly 1,000 books on there so it’s definitely going to take awhile. I’m also previewing them all, if possible, and deleting the ones not written in first person.
I left for work at 10 PM and it was quite the decent crowd. A regular of mine visited and started off my night right. I accidentally confused a detail about him with another one of my regulars but, luckily, he let it slide! I stayed busy until around 2:30 AM, did one more stage set, and then called boyfriend to pick me up.
For some reason, even though we had Chipotle for dinner, I wanted to try the 24hr Taco Bell Cantina on The Strip.
It’s basically the same as any other Taco Bell BUT, it has frozen alcoholic beverages and never closes.
Unsurprisingly, there were lots of drunk people stumbling around, acting a fool everywhere. LOL. I seriously just love watching them all, it’s the best part about being on The Strip. We wanted to try one of the frozen concoctions but, I didn’t want to get sick from drinking too much since I had a couple more at work already. Instead, we both indulged on their Baja Blast soda. It’s yummy but, extra sweet so I could barely drink more than a few sips.
Boyfriend got the combo that came with 2 Chalupas and a hard shell taco. I did the one with a Nachos Bell Grande and a soft shell taco. I was sad my chips were a bit stale.
It was fun finally going and seeing all the hype. It’s crazy that people can get married there, and that they actually and truly do it! We still have to go back and try one of the special drinks some day but, we probably can go years and years without ever eating that food again… 😛
And yes, I did wake up with the biggest stomachache today at around 1:30 PM.
I started reading a new book, Natalie Tan’s Book of Luck & Fortune by Roselle Lim. I’m only 16% through but am already in love. The writing is so beautiful and the story is heartwarming.
When boyfriend woke up, I took a shower and found some new recipes. We headed to Sprouts after running a few other errands. We came home and put the groceries away then, went to Ramen Sora for dinner. I was too hungry to wait for boyfriend to prep and cook a whole a meal.
For our appetizer, we shared a plate of Gyoza. 🙂 Yum, yum!
We both got the Killer Spicy Miso Ramen with added corn. The egg was a bit overcooked today but, the broth was on point! They definitely added in the spice and I SO appreciated it. ❤
I had already decided, when I came home from work last night/this morning, that I’d be taking tonight and tomorrow off. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my night playing Sims 4 again, hehe. Stay tuned for my August Boxycharm and Currentlys posts– the content is all ready but, I need to take a coooouple more photos before I can starting writing them up!!
Hope you’ve all had an amazing start to your week! ❤
