Hi all! πŸ™‚ Happy first day of the week! I hope you all had a nice weekend! Instead of a PB cup and coffee right now, I’m having an Oreo macaron and coffee– it’s just as nice. ❀

After I published my last entry on Thursday night, I answered the 73 questions that I posted yesterday. It was so much fun! HUGE shout out to Jam for choosing me to collaborate with!!

On Friday, boyfriend made us a chicken thigh sheet-pan with potatoes. It was delish. I got drunk at home before work and didn’t have the best night (until before I went to bed πŸ˜‰ ).

Yesterday, we had salmon leftovers with a big salad and pumpernickel garlic toast.

I drank a bit before I went into work again but, the night went a little better for me. I left sometime past 4 AM and we both wanted another drink before going out for breakfast. We decided to go to The Linq Casino. When we got there, we stopped at this bar called Catalyst before going up to the infamous Hash House A Go Go.

I got my usual Patron and Pineapple Juice while boyfriend got a Glenlivet on the rocks. Mine was mostly juice so I only drank half. Boyfriend drank most of his but got the rest to-go. We were getting HUNGRY.

We had went to Hash House on our very first visit to Vegas, before we even lived here, and it’s been one of our favorites ever since. We always get the same things because I can’t imagine anything being better…

There is definitely a LOT on their menu that I wanna venture out and try but… I CANNOT miss out on my Chicken and Bacon Waffles… it’s just too hard to pass up.

LOOK AT IT! It is a thing of freakin’ beauty. I have never had a better plate of breakfast in my whole entire life. There is just the perfect amount of bacon pieces woven in the waffle batter and the crispy chicken breasts are so juicy, delicate, and filled with outstanding flavor. The fluffy waffles, with a bite of chicken, dipped in the syrup… that’s the best forkful of food you will ever have!! But… coming in a close second would be boyfriend’s Sage Fried Chicken Benedict.

The sauce is so savory, on top of the mashed potatoes and biscuits… it’s a thing of dreams… I’m telling you, this plate is monstrous but boyfriend, at least, 95% finishes it every single time because it’s that good. Seriously, MMMM!!! This time around, he had no leftovers. I had one piece of fried chicken and two waffles packed up and currently, sitting in my fridge.

When we came home, I took a shower, and remembered to take my contacts out before doing so! When I went to bed boyfriend was waiting for me… we canoodled for awhile and then, smoked half a blunt before I had to tap out. We went to sleep and woke up a bit past 3 PM today.

I laid in bed, read a few blogs, and a chunk of Eliza and Her Monsters while boyfriend went to the dispensary. When he came home, I took a shower, we smoked a blunt, then, we went to Ramen Sora for dinner.

We both thought maybe the wrong cook was in the back because the food wasn’t as good as usual… 😦

Our Gyoza were fine, I enjoyed them but, our ramen wasn’t spicy at all. We both got the Killer Spicy Miso Ramen (with corn) but, neither of us really felt the burn.

The pork was a little too salty, too. πŸ˜›

For dessert, we went a block away to Tea of Joy. I LOVE this place because they have almond milk so I can order anything on the menu!!

I got a Matcha Slushie and boyfriend got a 50% sweet, Mango Black Tea. They were both awesome!!

We also ordered one macaron each. You can’t tell in the picture but they were really big… like the size of a hockey puck (just not as thick). The brown sprinkled one is Cookie Butter flavored and the black sprinkled one is Oreo. These were soooo soft, they crumbled and melted in my mouth but there was still a nice crack when I first bit in. We should’ve bought another one because I could have definitely gone for one more and boyfriend exclaimed the same exact thought when he finished his! Yum! I was eating mine at the beginning of typing this so I guess that brings us up to speed and to the present.

Oh! I forgot to tell you– I got my new set of Broadway tickets in the mail earlier this month! My first play of the season is on Tuesday. I’m gonna go take a picture of the tickets and post it here… BRB.

I am excited to see each and every one of them!!! Which one would you want to see the most?!

I’m gonna see if there are any new episodes of Love Island (UK) to watch on Hulu now. Have a great start to your week! ❀

    1. Thank you, babe!! ❀ The breakfast at Hash House is def incredible!!

We are TWO whole weeks behind on your Love Island over here. I just finished watching the episode where they get home from Casa Amor. Ugh, I KNEW Curtis didn't truly like Amy & Lucie is so bothersome being in love with Tommy like that. I freakin' hope Molly-Mae & him win, they are my absolute faves but yes thank you, please no spoilers!! I can't wait to see the finale!!

I am absolutely looking forward to The Book of Mormon tomorrow & Wicked better be good because they are charging double every other musical is! I know it will be phenomenal, though– it's a classic, right!?

I would LOOOOVE to see Pretty Woman. I've never even watched the film, if I'm being honest, but I've read reviews on the musical & it sounds so up my alley. It's a must-see for me!!

I can't even say which I'm looking forward to most. I'm ready for 'em all. πŸ˜€

    1. Thank you for stopping by, Mischenko! ❀ Sorry I always make you hungry, hehe. The pumpernickel garlic toast was really simple, just get the loaf at your grocery store's bakery, spread Earth Balance (or regular butter) on it, spread minced garlic (from a jar) on top of that, and then pop it in the oven until it's to your toasted preference. πŸ™‚

I have always wanted to see Wicked, too! I can't wait to enjoy them all, though! Thank you!! ❀

  2. I need to eat more salad!!! I’m gonna have to buy different salad kits to try different dressings lol.
Awh you guys are cuteee! Havent seen a photo of you two in a while it seems like.
Holy shittt! Those chicken and waffles look amazing!! And so does the chicken Benedict!
Awh man! Sucks going to a place you really love but the food doesnt taste the same πŸ˜” hopefully the change isn’t permanent
A matcha slushie sounds so nice and those macarons look so mouthwatering I want some 😫
Yay for new Broadway tickets!! Hope you enjoy those shows!! Which are YOU most excited to see??

    1. We actually made this salad without a salad kit, just chopped up some lettuce & added toppings. πŸ˜€ It was pretty easy, we used this dressing called Three-Herb by Bolthouse Farms!

It has been awhile since I posted a photo of us, huh? I never think to take ones of myself. πŸ˜› I’m always so grungey looking most of the time LOL. Thank you though!!

YESSS!!! Hash House has AMAZING food. I’d love to bring you there so you could see just how big everything is!!

We were really sad about Ramen Sora. We do hope it was just a bad cook in the kitchen & not a permanent thing. That’d be so disappointing.

Those macarons were def mouthwatering… just thinking about them is making me drool LOL. & I love a matcha slushie in the summer… mmm… ❀

Thank you!! I am equally excited for all shows. I truly can't choose one that I'm MOST excited for!

      1. I want to make homemade stuff whenever possible and salads are just so great and easy you can add whatever you want. And I might be familiar with bolthouse farms. I kind of want a.chipotle dressing for some reason. Kind of like the one they got at red robin lololol idk why I’m just craving a salad with that dressing it was so good at red robin.
        Haha no problem! πŸ’›πŸ§‘
Yes yes yes!! I’d love to go lol. Omg why dont you make a must go or must see list of places for people who visit Vegas? You can either make that a blog post or just send a list to me whatever is easier for you lol.

        Liked by 1 person

        1. I LOVE a Chipotle dressing but, they’re always dairy filled so I can never have it. 😦 A lot of people love Red Robin, their freakin’ Asian sauce is so dang good to me lol.

Ah it would be so hard to make a list for Vegas because everything closes &/or changes so often but I’ll try one day! If you’re visiting anytime sooner than when I make one, I will make one specifically for you! Just let me know! ❀

          Liked by 1 person

          1. Ah really? I didn’t know. I’m sure theres a way to make all of these delicious dressings without dairy. I just know there has to be some out there lol
I’ll have to try the asian sauce too dont think I’ve had it but next time I go there I’ll be sure to look for it.
Omg that’s right! I forgot you told me everything closes and changes! Oh well never mind! Just wait till I’m there then lmao. I will let you know when I plan on going there, right now I think were hanging back since alex has been spending loads of money to fix his car lol.

            Liked by 1 person

            1. Yeah you’re right, there’s always a way to make things dairy-free but the taste is never the exact same, I feel like. πŸ˜›

I hope you like the Asian dressing if you find it! I will def make a list for you whenever you plan to visit, just let me know when!! ❀

              Liked by 1 person

              1. youre right! never taste the same and that’s the only thing that sucks. once they get cheese right, then it’s game over for dairy LOL
will do! i really wanna go already, maybe i can convince alex to go next year since I can put off SF for another time, now that Mackenzie has moved T_T lol

                Liked by 1 person

                1. There are fake cheeses that are GOOD but not the same, for sure. I feel the same about milk but I actually like almond milk & have never liked the taste of cow’s milk!

YESS!! Come to Vegas!! & I wanted to go to SF when Mackenzie was there, too, but not as much anymore either LOL.

                  Liked by 1 person

                  1. i didn’t like Daiya cheese as much so I’ll have to look for another brand lol.in terms of milk I’m all for rice milk, my faveee!! i love almond milk too but i don’t buy it as often, it’d be gone in one day because anything that’s slightly sweet, CL wil drink in one day LOL
I wanted to go to see her since she came here and I only got to see for no more than 30 mins so that was a bit sad but she wasn’t here for long anyway, but being there with someone else definitely makes the trip more exciting. I’ll see what Alex says and maybe we can make it happen next year!

                    Liked by 1 person

                    1. I hate Daiya cheese, too… so yucky but, I do like their ONE Alfredo Mac n Cheeze box lol. I’ve never tried rice milk but, I might give it a shot now. Do you buy the vanilla almond milk or the original?? There is an Original Unsweetened kind, that’s the one I usually buy!

Aw yay, how fun would it be if we all got to meet up, like a bloggers meet up or something ;D

                      Liked by 1 person

                    2. I buy the original one, don’t get the “unsweetened” version it didn’t taste all that good to me and the vanilla one I don’t like because I feel like the original one can kind of go with everything without taking away the flavor from everything else if that makes sense.
I would love to have some kind of bloggers meet up but it would be difficult for a lot of bloggers to meet up at the same time unless it’s planned in advance or something.

                      Liked by 1 person

                    3. Yeah I feel like the Vanilla Almond Milk is more of a dessert & made to drink plain instead of to use in cereal & stuff.

Yesss, it would def probably have to be planned months, if not years, in advance.

                      Liked by 1 person

                    4. Yes exactly! It’s a dessert drink lol
And who knows, blogging is kind of growing more and more as of lately so maybe there will be more bloggers conventions or aomething like that. That would be cool. I know there’s a few already but only in big cities if I’m not mistaken

                      Liked by 1 person

                    5. Ohh, I didn’t even know there were blogger conventions lol. I was kind of thinking like, we’d all go to the same city somewhere & go out to dinner or something, y’know? πŸ˜€

      2. Ah fuck I wasnt done I always fucking do this………..

    1. Aw, I’ve never actually read the book & don’t know the story of Wicked but we did sing a couple songs from the musical at one of my school concerts, it was a pretty song so I can’t wait to see it, too. πŸ˜€ ❀

  3. Love your homemade meals because they are so well-rounded! A freakin beauty indeed and all those leeks draped on the top, holy shit. Omg the sauce on the sage-fried chicken benedict looks so much like salted egg yolk sauce! YAY TO LEFTOVERS HAHA. Mm, it doesn’t even look spicy. Also, do you get to choose how much your ramen is cooked? Cause if you do, I’d so reccommend hard! YES TO LACTOSE INTOLERANCE-INCLUSIVE PLACES HAHA! Cookie butter mmm, Hunida you’re killing me. I’d wanna see Wicked, Grinch, SpongBob and Mean Girls! WHICH ONE ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO?

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Oh thank you, we do try to eat a BIT healthier at home since the food we eat when we go out isn’t the very best for us. πŸ˜‰ The chicken & waffles is to die for!!! & I don’t know what that sauce was on top of the chicken benedict but gosh, it was GOOD. I wonder if it is salted egg yolk sauce?!

That ramen was NOT spicy at all… & we don’t get to choose how our ramen is cooked. I’ve never seen that option, sadly! You like your noodles hard??

Tea of Joy is awesome for having lactose-free choices. πŸ˜€ But yeah, the macarons still broke my dairy-free diet LOL I couldn’t resist.

YESSS, I am excited for all of the ones you named! I can’t choose just one!!

      1. MMMM who cares though it looks like heaven. Your blog is freaking heaven for me.
YESSS, in your picture your noodles look overcooked which is soft and mushy but when its hard its abit more springy!

    1. Thanks so much, Erica! πŸ˜€ There’s a Hash House in Connecticut & one in New Jersey, too! I don’t know how far away they are from you but I can tell you, they are worth the travel!!

      Liked by 1 person

      1. I just checked – the one in CT is at Mohegan Sun which is a casino. About two hours away…ugh, kinda far! Not sure about the one in Jersey but you gotta deal with the horrible traffic over the George Washington Bridge to get to Jersey from where I am. Oh well, gazing at your photos will have to do!

  5. An oreo macaron!!!!

The food from Hash House is UNREAL! Looks amazingly delicious!!! I’ve had chicken & waffles at Roscoes in L.A. and I love it. Looks like Hash House takes it up 500 notches. LOL

Wow!!! Another great lineup of Broadway shows! I love how they package your tickets.

I thought of you during last night’s episode of OITNB because one of the characters mentioned watching Love Island. LOL

    1. Mmm, I would love to eat that Oreo macaron again right now. Hash House is craaazy, their food is HUGE. You gotta try it.

I know, I noticed subscription holders are the only ones who get pretty tickets. πŸ˜€ Everyone else’s are like printed & look like movie tickets ha.

LOL I always wanted to watch OITNB. That’s boyfriend’s mom’s favorite show!

  6. Oh my goodness that ramen looks sooo good! I need to find a new ramen place here and order some asap. It’s such a comforting dish lol.
I cannot believe how big those macarons are!! They look amazing too!
And oh my gosh those plates of chicken and waffles are HUGE! I wouldn’t even know how/where to start eating them! I’ve never had chicken and waffles, but now that we live in the south, I’m sure that won’t last long lol.

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Mmm, let us know when you find a ramen spot. πŸ˜€ I’d love to hear all about it!! It really is a comforting dish, isn’t it? ❀

Ahh! I'm happy you could actually tell how big those macarons were. I thought they'd be stale or not as good because of the size but they were wonderful!!

LOL YES, everything at Hash House is HUGE. Their pancakes are bigger than your head!! & is VA considered the South? I never knew that! Can't wait until your try your first chicken & waffles!!!

      Liked by 1 person

      1. There’s a place by us called “Noodle Man” but they don’t have “ramen” on their menu, they have “noodle soup” and I’m not sure if that’s the same thing, lol!

That really is so nice that they made sure the quality of those macarons were still good even though they were big. So often, companies pride themselves on how big certain menu items are, but those items totally lack flavor!

I think VA generally is considered the South, just not as strongly lol. The Confederate Army had a lot of battles here in VA, and the Stonewall Jackson shrine is here. We are south of the Mason Dixon line, so I think that’s what a lot of people base north vs south on. Also, here in Va Beach, we are only about 45 minutes from North Carolina, lol!! I never thought about VA as being in the south, but I’m hearing it from people more and more! Lots of people have southern accents so I’m sure your girl will subconsciously start assimilating that before long! XD

        Liked by 1 person

        1. Lol just “noodle soup”? How vague! I bet it’s a Chinese spot but I could be wrong!

That’s so true! A lot of places make things big for show & totally forget about the flavor.

Ohh!! That’s so interesting to know about the Mason Dixon line! I didn’t know there was so much history in VA, lol. It was my worst subject, I think. πŸ˜› You will be so cute with your new Southern accent, hehe.

          Liked by 1 person

          1. Right? I looked up ramen near me on Google and they came up as a recommended spot, but I don’t know… πŸ˜‚

I didn’t know about the Mason Dixon line either but it only took a month of being here to learn about it from the locals lol. πŸ˜‚ There really is so much that happened with the Civil War here! I’m just beginning to learn all about it…I don’t think I studied all that much of it in school. πŸ™ˆ Aww thanks πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–

            Liked by 1 person

  7. The Hash House dishes look insanely good!! They are sooo beautifully plated- I love how generous the servings are too. Yay for your Broadway tickets!! I think I’d like to see Mean Girls most out of those, but I’d love to go to any Broadyway show! The talent is incredible.

    1. Hash House is truly amazing– I’d consider it a must-visit when ever you come to Vegas! πŸ˜„ The portions are HUGE!

Yess!! I cannot wait to see Mean Girls but you’re right, all Broadway shows are awesome & filled with incredible talent. πŸ™‚
