Hey babes, I finally have a free minute to write an entry. 🙂 I’m currently at my sister’s apartment in Minnesota, waiting for my brother to be done with his teenage activities. We’re going to the Treasure Island Casino to eat at the buffet. It’s CRAB LEG night and I am STOKED.
Last time I wrote, I told you that I’d be writing one more time before I left but, I never got around to it. I also said I’d show you a picture of my delicious sandwich that I ate after publishing so here it is, lol.
On July 5th, we had an Asian Salad Kit for dinner. Boyfriend added some tomatoes, red onions, and chicken.
I stayed sober at work minus one shot of Patron at the end of the night, right before I left. It was quite busy and the clients were all nice and respectful. 🙂
On July 6th, we went to Bahama Breeze for dinner.
We have been here a few times before and just love everything we’ve ever ordered, including all food and drinks!
Boyfriend went for their Jerk Chicken Pasta which was absolutely splendid. It made me realize how much I truly miss dairy-based pasta sauces. 😦
I got their absolutely amazing Ahi Tuna Salad. The dressing they used was a special one– one they created specifically for their restaurant! It was to-die-for!!! ❤
That night at work wasn’t even half as busy as Friday but, this group of guys I had hung out with before came back to drink with me and some of my co-workers. I didn’t leave work until past 6 AM so when I got home, it was nearly 7 AM. Perfect timing to finally try this new breakfast spot called Eggscellent that opened up near our place. We were a little early and had to wait outside a minute but, I didn’t mind!
I checked in on Yelp right when we sat down and they granted us a free cinnamon roll. It was ooey gooey and warm… ❤
Boyfriend had a monstrous omelette with potato triangles and toast on the side. There was so much amount of flavor in the one bite I took. Neither he nor I was disappointed!
For me? The Red Rock Egg Benny with hashbrowns on the side. The Focaccia bread bottom was the best part. It was garlicky, super soft inside, and toasty on the outside. The eggs were perfectly poached but, didn’t seem to have ANY seasoning on them… luckily, salt and pepper at the table fixed that problem! And to top it all off, the bacon was crispcrispcrisp and oh so yummy.
We will definitely go back there whenever we can make it. It sucks that they’re only open from 7 AM to 3 PM.
On July 7th, I didn’t want to do anything but, rest to cure my hangover and bloated belly. We had to walk to the grocery store to pick up food for the week, though.
I had been thinking about ribs since I posted them last. I wanted to try the Jack Daniels kind this time. 🙂 For our sides, we had baked beans and roasted veggies. It was such a lovely meal!!
I wanted to recap everyday before we left on the 10th but, time’s up and we gotta start heading to Treasure Island.
Be back soon!!
