Hey guys! Let’s do some rewinding and go back to Monday, when I published my last Journal Entry. I’m pretty sure I spent the rest of that night playing Sims 4 because yes, I’m still hooked.

On Tuesday, boyfriend went to work for the evening. I woke up a little bit after he left and read A Tap on the Window for a long while. When I finally got up and took a shower, I did a face mask, a quick workout, and wrote up my Ipsy Glam Bag post. I hadn’t finished before boyfriend got home.

We smoked a blunt and then, he immediately started on dinner while I finished writing (and had a small salad for a snack). We ate in front of an episode of Good Girls. When it ended, I played Sims 4 until we went to lay in bed. I, then, read A Tap on the Window until past 7 AM. I had to see what happened before I could sleep!

On Wednesday, we both had the day off and woke up pretty late– a little past 3 PM. We lazed around in bed until we were hungry. When we got up and finally left our bedroom, it was almost 6 PM. I took a shower while boyfriend started cooking. We watched a random Chopped episode while we ate and then I wrote up my review on A Tap on the Window.

I played… Sims 4 yet again but, I ended early to read blogs for a couple hours. When we went into bed, I started a new book called Juliet the Maniac and am enjoying it so far. I thought a fellow blogger had recommended it to me but I can’t remember now. I thanked the wrong person, oops, LOL. Maybe I’m mistaken and it was Goodreads who had recommended it to me. Either way, yay! I’m happy to be reading it.

Yesterday, boyfriend went to work and then they sent him right back home because it wasn’t busy enough. I totally thought it was rude of them not to call him beforehand but, whatever. I’ll never complain about more time to spend with him. ❀ He came home right as I was getting up then, we smoked a blunt before I hopped into the shower.

I did a quick workout while he heated up some leftovers for us to eat. We watched the new episode of Masterchef Celeb Families but, didn’t make it until the end so don’t tell me which boxer won if you watched it! Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth were hilarious! But def not better than Snooki and J-Woww in the first episode, lol.

We went to get our espressos from Starbucks after we ate then, we came home and I started doing my hair and makeup right after we smoked a blunt. I had one mixed drink and a shot before leaving for work. I got there around 11 PM and stayed until 3 AM. It was an okay, steady night.

Today, we woke up at around 1 PM. I got up and showered right away because I was SO hungry and also, EXCITED because there was a new restaurant I wanted to try!

Guilt Free Glutton just opened up about 20 minutes away from our place. They have so many fun and unique items on their menu, it was so hard to choose what we wanted! There was a vegan mac and cheese made with cashew cheese that looked spectacular. I was super tempted but, not feeling brave enough for a dish that might not satisfy me at all. It looked seriously delish though!

The menu was hip with a nice and clean design– I love the boxing boar! BUT, the interior was a bit too “industrial” for me.

Maybe they are still working on it or maybe they like the floors that way? …who knows?

For our appetizer, we had Asian Zing Chicken Wings with Waffle Fries. The sauce on the wings was awesome. It was salty and savory with a little soy sauce flavor. For some reason, I thought they were going to taste more like a sweet and sour sauce but, in the end, I’m glad they didn’t!

The waffle fries were crisp but, still soft and pillowy with the perfect amount of seasoning. The winner of the plate though was the pickle. It tasted so fresh and crisp, like it had JUST finished pickling right when we got there.

We also shared a Tropical Tea. We were worried it was going to be extra sweet but it was actually real tea with a hint of flavor– we were ecstatic and it was SO DANG YUMMY!

Boyfriend got the Tex Mex Burger. It was topped with fried jalapenos and onions, hatch chiles, pepperjack cheese, and BBQ sauce. The bread was really spongey and the flavor of it was overpowering everything inside? We were wondering if it was a gluten-free bread or something? It was thick and weird.

On the side, he had JUMBO STUFFED TATER TOTS. It was basically a mini loaded baked potato! It had 3 blend smoked cheddar cheese, mascarpone, onions, scallions, and bacon bits inside. Splattered right next to it was a spicy ketchup and smeared underneath was an avocado green onion coulis. We were expecting a bit more from these but, probably because we read the exaggerated, raving reviews before we went in. They were still absolutely fantastic though, don’t get me wrong. πŸ˜›

For my main, I got the Island Bowl. It had Seared Ahi tuna, brown rice, seaweed and cucumber salad, mangos, jalapenos, sesame seeds, and green onions topped with a teriyaki sauce. The rice was already overcooked before the sauce made it smooshier so I mostly stayed away from it. I loved the tuna and the salad, though and the sauce was good, too– it wasn’t overly sweet, sour, or salty and it wasn’t too thick or thin, either.

On our way home, we stopped at Starbucks for our espressos, the water mill to fill our jugs, and then CVS to buy an eyebrow shaping/grooming kit. I have grown mine out for long enough now, I think. They’re ready to be trimmed and cleaned up even though there’s a spot I wish would grow in a bit more. I just won’t mess with that patch at all.

I took photos of my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus products while boyfriend rolled up a blunt then watched a couple girls do their brows on YouTube while we smoked. I checked all of my notifications here on WordPress then, started typing this. πŸ™‚

I can’t believe it’s already almost 8 PM now. How does time move so quickly? I gotta go ready for work already. Ugh.

Have a good night and weekend everybody! ❀

  1. Ohhh yeah Sims 4 can suck you in and never let you go πŸ˜‚.And how always gorgeous pictures of food (should have eaten before reading ,ah when will I learn πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚) πŸ’•β€οΈ

  2. Oh man, if I was a comic book character overcooked rice would be my weakness; I hate rice that’s all mushy and nasty. Still though, it seems like most of the food was good! I agree that the floors in Guilt Free Glutton look a bit too industrial.

    I hope you’re doing well!

    1. LOL what is worse overcooked rice or unpleasant espresso?? The rest of the food did make up for the smooshy rice though! I’m glad you agree about the floors. I couldn’t tell if that’s what they were going for or if they ran out of money to get new floors…

Thank you, Josh! I hope you’re doing well, too! ❀

  3. Sounds like a crappy version of gf bread. Glad you liked most of your food though. I hate waking up after my bloke has left so he wakes me up to let me know he’s leaving! I’d love to get Sims but my iPad storage is so full of β€˜other’ apparently!? How are you getting on with your knew book?

    1. I’ve never had GF bread before so I’m not sure if it really was but it was weird! Boyfriend usually gives me a kiss when he leaves so I know he’s leaving but sometimes I don’t feel it & get sad when I wake up, too lol.

Yeah, Sims is a huge download! I think even if your iPad was completely empty of apps & photos, it still wouldn’t have enough space.

I am really liking the new book so far! πŸ™‚

  4. That food looks yummy, and those tater tots sound interesting!
I agree that was rude that they didn’t call your boyfriend not to come to work. I’d be pissed!
    Fun post as usual girl!

    1. The tater tots were interesting but they really just tasted like a twice baked potato, y’know? & it was rude, wasn’t it? He came in & they were like “oh you can have the day off!”

Thank you for stopping by, Steffani! ❀

  5. I don’t like a weird bread either. I tried those round sandwich thins my Mom loves so much but couldn’t deal with the sponge-y texture of them. Store-bought buns never seem right so I have to toast them.

All your other food looks yummy. Especially those wings!!!! Mmm!!!

Time does go too fast. It’s already 11:11am on Saturday!!!!!

      1. Yes I did! The same night you told me though something went wrong and I had to re-download yesterday morning lol.
I tried to play it a bit after installing but idk? I think I’m just so used to the sims freeplay, it almost feels like an entirely different game to me lol. Maybe I just need to play with it a bit more to really figure it out haha
Alex and I have already watched the first season of the OC, were on the second one now. And on the last season of the 70s show, which I like the least I may just skip to the finale lol.

        1. It is totally different from the Sims Freeplay! But also, not really. Like you do a lot of the same stuff but it doesn’t take hours to finish one task. I know with the base game and no expansions, it’s pretty easy to get bored but, there’s still a lot of stuff to do & explore. πŸ˜€

Wow! I have only watched 3 episodes of the OC lol I am too distracted with my game & other shows. πŸ˜› I don’t think I watched much of any of the seasons without Eric in That 70’s Show!

          1. I’ll have to sit down and try it out for a full hour and see if I can get into it lol
Haha nothing wrong with that! I remember getting into my games a few weeks ago that’s all I ever did haha.

  7. Oh fucking…I pressed send and I was done! I usually write out my comment as I read lol.
Overall it seems like you spent a few chill days. Food looks good, I would have tried the mac for sure haha. Also, I’ve been a sucker for teas lately, the tropical tea sounds right up my alley!
Hope you’ve had a great weekend and happy memorial day! Were gonna be lazy today lol

    1. Lol no worries, I do the same thing! πŸ˜› Chill days are my favorite days & I so wish I would’ve tried that mac now!

Tea is so yummy! We can’t help but order it when we see it on the menu lately, too. The tropical tea was so lovely. πŸ™‚

Thank you, Rossy! I hope your Memorial Day weekend was a good one too. Lazy days are the best. β™‘

Yes it’s been a lazy ass week I havent worked out in what seems like forever but I start my three month journey this Saturday haha. Wish me luck I am gonna need it haha.

        1. I will def order it if we ever go back & let you know how it is! You are going to kill these 3 months, you don’t even need my luck but I’m sending you all the good that I got!!!

  8. Ahhh I have to read A Tap on the Window- you have sold me on it!

Oh I’m curious!– What kind of workouts do you like to do?

OK Guilt Free Glutton looks increeedible. Although so interesting about the floors… I know what you mean about industrial type restaurants- it’s hard to maintain a β€œcoziness” when places go for that style. The way you described those waffle fries is making my mouth water! Ahh that burger looks good- but I hate when bread overpowers the meal like that- usually I’ll just take off the top bun then eat with a fork and knife if it tastes like that (and then eat the top bun separately of course πŸ˜‰ ). Those tots definitely caught my eye though! I would just haveee to try them! (and you know how I feel about ahi- lol).

Also… this reminds me.. I probably should take a look at my brows. I’m a bit nervous to considering I haven’t trimmed them in a while since I’ve been in the books all day every day for about two weeks. Eek!

    Always love your posts! xox

    1. A Tap on the Window was really so enjoyable. I hope you like it as much as I did if you do read it. πŸ™‚

I don’t work out for long lol, I do like 10-15 min ab or booty workouts on YouTube. πŸ˜› Besides running, what kind of workouts do you like??

Guilt Free Glutton was a lot of fun! I feel like they were trying a little toooo hard to be hip though… those floors need work lol.

The waffle fries were awesome! & it’s so weird when the flavor of bread can overpower so many other components, isn’t it?! I like the idea of taking the bun off! & yesss, those tots were def something I had never seen before. The ahi was so fresh & tasty, too.β™‘

Eyebrows are so hard to maintain. I still haven’t been brave enough to touch mine. πŸ˜›

      Thank you, Mackenzie!!! β™‘β™‘β™‘

      1. I love 10/15 min abs too! I do Cassey Ho’s a lot and My Fitness Blenders HITT routines once or a couple times a week.

You are so lucky with naturally beautiful brows! You truly have no reason to touch them!

  9. I love that you stayed up reading until 7am to finish the book! It must have been really good! Maybe I should add it to me to-read list on Goodreads. πŸ˜‰

Also, I definitely agree that it was rude of your boyfriend’s work to just send him home when he got there! They should have called to let him know. It’s not like they don’t know who’s on the schedule to come in, lol.

Yayyy for your eyebrows! It sounds like they’ve grown out amazingly. Sometimes the best thing is to just start all over again haha.

    1. It was just mind blowing! There was no way my brain could shut down with all that churning LOL. I hope you like it as much as I did if you do read it. πŸ˜€

Yeah, his place of employment is hella rude like that. I wish he’d work somewhere else!

I am scared to touch my eyebrows so they’re still wild & growing LOL. I will def not go back to any kind of specialist to ruin them again though.

      1. I added it to my list!! I love when books keep me intrigued and on the edge of my seat.

Unfortunately a lot of work places are like that and it’s so dumb! Joshua deals with a lot of the same with his company. Like on Tuesday, they last minute kept him out on on-sites all day and he was never told the plan other than one stop, so he was kept out all day without any food or anything. I was so mad!

  10. Oh, food looks yummy!
When i saw the name, Guilt Free, i thought it’s some kinda “diet restaurant”, but i’m guessing they are not guilty about something else. Haha πŸ˜€

    1. Their menu was like split into two. One side was the “Guilty” items, more heartier/higher calorie count & the other was “Guilt Free,” where the items were healthier & less fattening. I think boyfriend & I both chose items from the “Guilty” side, hehe.
