Hey guys! Let’s do some rewinding and go back to Monday, when I published my last Journal Entry. I’m pretty sure I spent the rest of that night playing Sims 4 because yes, I’m still hooked.
On Tuesday, boyfriend went to work for the evening. I woke up a little bit after he left and read A Tap on the Window for a long while. When I finally got up and took a shower, I did a face mask, a quick workout, and wrote up my Ipsy Glam Bag post. I hadn’t finished before boyfriend got home.
We smoked a blunt and then, he immediately started on dinner while I finished writing (and had a small salad for a snack). We ate in front of an episode of Good Girls. When it ended, I played Sims 4 until we went to lay in bed. I, then, read A Tap on the Window until past 7 AM. I had to see what happened before I could sleep!
On Wednesday, we both had the day off and woke up pretty late– a little past 3 PM. We lazed around in bed until we were hungry. When we got up and finally left our bedroom, it was almost 6 PM. I took a shower while boyfriend started cooking. We watched a random Chopped episode while we ate and then I wrote up my review on A Tap on the Window.
I played… Sims 4 yet again but, I ended early to read blogs for a couple hours. When we went into bed, I started a new book called Juliet the Maniac and am enjoying it so far. I thought a fellow blogger had recommended it to me but I can’t remember now. I thanked the wrong person, oops, LOL. Maybe I’m mistaken and it was Goodreads who had recommended it to me. Either way, yay! I’m happy to be reading it.
Yesterday, boyfriend went to work and then they sent him right back home because it wasn’t busy enough. I totally thought it was rude of them not to call him beforehand but, whatever. I’ll never complain about more time to spend with him. ❤ He came home right as I was getting up then, we smoked a blunt before I hopped into the shower.
I did a quick workout while he heated up some leftovers for us to eat. We watched the new episode of Masterchef Celeb Families but, didn’t make it until the end so don’t tell me which boxer won if you watched it! Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth were hilarious! But def not better than Snooki and J-Woww in the first episode, lol.
We went to get our espressos from Starbucks after we ate then, we came home and I started doing my hair and makeup right after we smoked a blunt. I had one mixed drink and a shot before leaving for work. I got there around 11 PM and stayed until 3 AM. It was an okay, steady night.
Today, we woke up at around 1 PM. I got up and showered right away because I was SO hungry and also, EXCITED because there was a new restaurant I wanted to try!
Guilt Free Glutton just opened up about 20 minutes away from our place. They have so many fun and unique items on their menu, it was so hard to choose what we wanted! There was a vegan mac and cheese made with cashew cheese that looked spectacular. I was super tempted but, not feeling brave enough for a dish that might not satisfy me at all. It looked seriously delish though!
The menu was hip with a nice and clean design– I love the boxing boar! BUT, the interior was a bit too “industrial” for me.
Maybe they are still working on it or maybe they like the floors that way? …who knows?
For our appetizer, we had Asian Zing Chicken Wings with Waffle Fries. The sauce on the wings was awesome. It was salty and savory with a little soy sauce flavor. For some reason, I thought they were going to taste more like a sweet and sour sauce but, in the end, I’m glad they didn’t!
The waffle fries were crisp but, still soft and pillowy with the perfect amount of seasoning. The winner of the plate though was the pickle. It tasted so fresh and crisp, like it had JUST finished pickling right when we got there.
We also shared a Tropical Tea. We were worried it was going to be extra sweet but it was actually real tea with a hint of flavor– we were ecstatic and it was SO DANG YUMMY!
Boyfriend got the Tex Mex Burger. It was topped with fried jalapenos and onions, hatch chiles, pepperjack cheese, and BBQ sauce. The bread was really spongey and the flavor of it was overpowering everything inside? We were wondering if it was a gluten-free bread or something? It was thick and weird.
On the side, he had JUMBO STUFFED TATER TOTS. It was basically a mini loaded baked potato! It had 3 blend smoked cheddar cheese, mascarpone, onions, scallions, and bacon bits inside. Splattered right next to it was a spicy ketchup and smeared underneath was an avocado green onion coulis. We were expecting a bit more from these but, probably because we read the exaggerated, raving reviews before we went in. They were still absolutely fantastic though, don’t get me wrong. 😛
For my main, I got the Island Bowl. It had Seared Ahi tuna, brown rice, seaweed and cucumber salad, mangos, jalapenos, sesame seeds, and green onions topped with a teriyaki sauce. The rice was already overcooked before the sauce made it smooshier so I mostly stayed away from it. I loved the tuna and the salad, though and the sauce was good, too– it wasn’t overly sweet, sour, or salty and it wasn’t too thick or thin, either.
On our way home, we stopped at Starbucks for our espressos, the water mill to fill our jugs, and then CVS to buy an eyebrow shaping/grooming kit. I have grown mine out for long enough now, I think. They’re ready to be trimmed and cleaned up even though there’s a spot I wish would grow in a bit more. I just won’t mess with that patch at all.
I took photos of my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus products while boyfriend rolled up a blunt then watched a couple girls do their brows on YouTube while we smoked. I checked all of my notifications here on WordPress then, started typing this. 🙂
I can’t believe it’s already almost 8 PM now. How does time move so quickly? I gotta go ready for work already. Ugh.
Have a good night and weekend everybody! ❤
