Journal Entry #225

First of all, I would love a round of applause because I have finally caught up on my Reader! Lol I’m just kidding, I don’t deserve any sort of praise because I drank myself to illness yet again.

Not on Thursday night though. Boyfriend and I did stop for a drink before I went in to work but, I didn’t have any more when I got there and felt sober enough to even read The Mars Room when I got home. The customers I had were the worst. One told me I was “rapeable” and another tried to pay me half of what a dance costs then, got really offended when I told him “no.” Shouldn’t I have been the one that was offended?!

On Friday… I woke up around 3 PM. I took a shower and I did some stretching and a quick workout. Boyfriend cooked dinner, we went to Starbucks, y’know… the usual. Buuuut, when we had our before-work drinks, we both had more than we should have because we weren’t really “feeling it.” I have to admit, I never did feel super drunk throughout the whole night but I did continue to drink non-stop when I got to work. I even took a shot of Hennessy when I’m usually on a strict Patron-only diet.

I was a fool when I woke up yesterday. I thought I was perfectly fine and the small headache I felt would disappear after a bit of food so, I got in the shower right away, showered, shaved, moisturized and everything. I was feeling okay.

I made me a Broccoli Crunch Salad Kit with added chicken, spinach, and French dressing instead of the one that came in the bag.

Even just looking at it now is making me nauseous because not too long after eating it, it all came back up. I only finished half because I started to feel so unwell. My head was pounding and my stomach was turning. I put the bowl away but, finished watching the spring premiere episode of Star (which was amazing, by the way!!). I tried to start a movie after it ended and get my mind off the nasty feelings but, I just couldn’t even handle sitting up at this point.

I took out my contacts and decided to lay back down in the bed… hoping to fall asleep but, I had no such luck. Around 15 minutes into my movie, I ran to the toilet and threw up like crazy. My stomach finally quit doing the topsy-turvy and my headache dimmed when I finished but, I felt terribly weak and y’know, fuckin’ hungover…

When boyfriend texted me he was on the way home from work, I told him to skip the Starbucks stop because I was staying home for the night. *all the eye rolls here*

When he got home, we were both starving. My stomach was emptied of everything I ate (which wasn’t much) and he hadn’t ate all day so there was no way he was cooking. We both were craving some Thai food so, we went to our fave 24/7 spot: Thai Pepper.

When we got there, they were extra busy with ‘to-gos’ and we were only like one of three ‘dine-ins.’ They warned us that our food may take a little longer because they had so many orders stacked up but, thankfully, our food actually came out pretty quickly!!

We started with two different flavors of hot tea. I got lychee and boyfriend got pomegranate. Both were good but, I liked mine better which is usually never the case, right? Lol, I typically always want what boyfriend gets!

To share, we got the deep-fried green beans. I can’t recall the last time we got these or if we ever even have here before. We’ll def be getting them more often now though because they were deeeelish! The breading stuck to the green beans perfectly, they were super crisp and not at all overly greasy. I do wish the sweet and sour dipping sauce had been a little bit thicker though.

We also shared a huge plate of their beef salad. We asked for a 10 out of 10 on the spicy scale and boy, did they deliver!! Boyfriend was getting red splotches all over his face and my sweat was dripping down past my chin (didn’t stop us from eating more!).

I wasn’t suffering as much as he was because I asked for an 8 out of 10 on my drunken noodles. Yes, it was still spicy but, less spicy than the beef salad so it actually helped to cool my mouth down.

Boyfriend, on the other hand, got a 10 out of 10 for his glass noodles so he had no cleanse between any bites, lol. Also, he took the photo of his own plate this time. 😉 Like always though, everything was so dang good and worth all the pain we suffered in our mouths and stomachs!!

We came home and had some yogurt with all kinds of toppings for dessert. I watched a movie and a half before we went into bed. I fell asleep right away when we did.

I woke up today around noon because of that Thai food last night. My stomach wouldn’t let me get back to sleep but even with the pain, I was feeling 100% better than I did all of yesterday.

I decided I better go to work tonight and tomorrow since I’m taking Tuesday-Thursday off this week.

Boyfriend cooked us dinner when my stomach finally stopped hurting around 4 PM!! We watched the last episode of Fit for Fashion while we ate. I was SO disappointed with the winner, I turned it off right when it was announced and we headed out to get our Starbucks espressos that taste more like coffee water… I am still drinking it as I type this but I really better get going so I can get to work, hopefully, by 10 PM!

  2. Oh my GOSH, I can’t believe that guy said you were “rape-able”! That’s absolutely horrible. Tell me that doesn’t happen that often because maybe I’m just ignorant but I feel like the police should be tipped off about him or something. O.O
I’m so glad you’re feeling better! That sounds awful. 😦

    1. I know, what the heck was he thinking? I have never had anyone say with such a straight face “I would rape you” like he did. It was so creepy. My boyfriend said I should’ve called the police, too LOL.

Thank you, Courtney!! It was awful but I put it upon myself. 😛

      1. That’s soooo creepy. The fact that he thinks that’s a compliment is just so perverted and wrong. O.O Sounds like the type of guy who would rape a girl and then act like she should be grateful he wanted her. O.O

  3. I’m LIVID about what those customers said to you. That really is NOT ok- are you able to report that? UGH.

I always prefer my hubby’s choice more than my own usually too hahah. But glad you enjoyed the Lychee– sounds so yummy! I have never had that, but do appreciate the Lychee flavor.

Glad to hear you are feeling better too ❤

    1. He was incredibly creepy. I just looked at him with wide eyes! There was really nothing to report since he didn’t touch me… he just said that he would, if given the chance… which is alarming but, I bet my managers & even the police would laugh at me if I went to them about it.

LOL there must be something in our men’s food that makes it better!! 😉 & it was my first time trying the lychee hot tea. It was very subtle but delish.

      Thank you, babe!!! ❤

      1. Ugh, I feel like you could consider it a verbal threat.. so sad there isn’t more of a place or endorsement of those types of reports ! Stay safe, love- that makes me furious !

Anywhoo, I agree- I’ve gotta say they have good taste (considering they chose us) so that must be it 😆

        1. Yeah I just don’t think they’d really care to follow a guy & make sure he isn’t a rapist without any proof, y’know? Like even with proof, sometimes it seems no one cares. :/ But thank you for caring about my safety, Mackenzie. ❤ ❤

          & yes I agree LOL! ;D

    1. Aw yeah the bouncers do always have my back but the guy who said I was “rapeable” was actually really kind & respectful (which doesn’t mean he wasn’t dangerous) but there was nothing to report, y’know? He just creeped me out. The guy who tried to low-ball me was just a drunk douchebag, I couldn’t even be bothered with him!!

  4. Who tf would tell someone they are “rapeable”?! How gross! Oh my gosh, crispy green bean fries are the best! It has been too long since I last had them. 😦 They are so good dipped in horseradish and ranch.

    1. I know! & he acted like it wasn’t a preposterous thing to say at all!

The fried green beans were so yummy. 😀 It had been awhile since we had ’em too. I’ve just started to like horseradish recently but ranch has dairy in it so I can’t try it, sadly!

    1. Lol it was hard catching up but it felt so good when I did. 😀 There are just SO many good blogs & posts, I wish I had time to read it all. Thank you for the round of applause, hehe. ❤

That guy was definitely F'd up, I can't believe there are people like that in the world!!

  6. OMG that guy that said that to you!!!! Insert 5 mad faces here!!!

So sorry you made yourself sick. I hate throwing up so much. There are still the one or two things I can’t eat to this day because of puking after eating them.

You’re off Tue-Thu…anything special going on?
