Journal Entry #202

Hey all πŸ™‚ not much has happened since I last wrote.

Yesterday, boyfriend and I both had the day off. When we woke up around 2 PM, I had to get our shopping list ready to go to the grocery store. We also had to stop at the dispensary again.

We got home around 6ish, boyfriend cooked dinner while I wrote up my Recipe Reviews and a few drafts for some upcoming posts. While we ate, we watched the last episode of Future Man. I’ll be posting a “Shows I’ve Recently Watched” in few days if you’d like to read my thoughts on it.

I typed up more drafts until almost 9ish then, I jumped into my Sims game. πŸ˜€ I turned my main lady into a vampire. I’ve never played with a vampire before and ever since I downloaded the pack last year, I have been scared to let my Sims even talk to roaming vampires. I’ve put garlic wreaths, braids, and garlands all over the house so they couldn’t get in.

Now, she is one herself but, her aspiration is to be a “good” one and only “drink with permission” or not at all. I “drank deeply” from my son’s friend only once to see what would happen and he passed out in our living room for HOURS. Now, she only drinks “plasma packs” which is pretty much the blood in a bag like at a hospital lol.

Dinner is done sooner than I expected so I’m eating it now. πŸ™‚

06:20 PM-07:07 PM

During dinner, we started the first episode of Season 02 of Runaways. After just finishing Future Man, I’m a little done with the sci-fi super hero stuff so I might not continue it. We’ll see. πŸ˜›

When we finished eating, we immediately left to get our espressos from Starbucks. We stopped at the smoke shop on our way, I stayed in the car while boyfriend went in to grab some tobacco products. On his way out, he noticed one of our front tires was flat. I got to go on a little ride while boyfriend jacked the car up to replace it with our spare donut tire. A little annoying that we’ll have to go get yet another new tire, but at least we had the spare to get us along until we can get it tomorrow.

Anyways, back to last night.

Around 3 AM, I turned the Sims off and read The Accidentals while boyfriend played a few rounds of this weirdo car soccer game on the XBOX with his Twitch buddies. I only have the book checked out to me until like 10 hours from now and when I started reading it last night, there were 2 hours left (according to my Kindle app– based on my reading speed). I really wanted to finish it but by 5 AM, my eyes wouldn’t let me.

Today, I woke up around 2 PM with only around a half hour to go in the book so I finished it up before I showered, shaved, and moisturized! When I finished, I worked on the review and my Boxycharm post for tomorrow. I started writing this entry but then, dinner was ready and you know how the rest goes on from there. πŸ˜‰

I’m gonna go do my makeup for work now. I feel a little anxious about going back because I know I made a fool of myself (like I always fucking do) on Saturday night. I hate drunk me… I am just waaaaay too out there. I’m seriously like a whole different person… entirely. I’m gonna try my very hardest to stay sober for the rest of January. It’s best that I don’t break that promise to myself again (and again) but, it seems I go through this after almost every weekend. Don’t I? I am getting too old to continue this way!

  1. Reading about you putting up the garlic and everything for your sims really made me laugh lol! And just think January is almost over with, the days might seem slow but just keep your self occupied with other things, you can do it!

    1. Hahaha! I was so scared of the vampires at first! When she became a vampire all the garlic around the house just went completely bad lol.

I already failed myself last night… but I will restart today. πŸ˜› Hopefully the month flies by!

  2. Haha πŸ˜€ I’ve never played vampire in sims. When the option became available, i actually disabled supernatural creatures. Loved all those expansion packs, but i didn’t want those creatures roaming my little town πŸ˜€

  3. Oh that sucks about your flat tire!! Tires are so expensive, ugh. -_- At least your boyfriend could change the tire, lol! Joshua & I are clueless about that stuff so we’d likely end up calling roadside assistance haha. I’m not even sure where the spare is located in our car?! πŸ˜‰

    1. There are a lot of little tire shops around here that sell ’em for pretty cheap since we have an older car, luckily!! I know nothing about changing the tire or where the spare one is either… lol I just sit in the car & wait. πŸ˜› I bet you could learn on YouTube though!

  4. Nothing turns me into an hysterical mess in the corner faster than some kind of car trouble. I just can’t deal with it. Those are the moments when I reeeeeeeeeeally wish for a boyfriend. But I don’t have one so AAA is my boyfriend in those situations. LOL

    1. Seriously! Car troubles are the absolute worst! I am lucky to have a boyfriend who usually can deal with the problem on his own, I’ve never had to call AAA before!

    1. LOL, at least we are not crabby & mean drunks, right? Being lovey dovey & weird is so much better, it’s only embarrassing because it’s so different than how we normally act!

Thank you for your support!! ❀

  5. That’s so funny for Sims that they have vampires- haha, how fun ! Good thing you are keeping your girl safe with those garlic wreaths πŸ˜‰ Oh man, sorry about more car troubles- good thing he knows how to change a flat! That’s one of those life skills I seriously need to learn. Staying sober through the rest of jan is so admirable girl- you’ve got this. XOXO

    1. Hahaha well she’s a vampire now & she made all the garlic wreaths turn spoiled! We are always having car troubles so I’m getting kind of numb to them instead of panicking right away LOL. Changing a tire doesn’t seem so easy but I do think I’d like to learn how someday!

Thank you for your support, Mack!! ❀

  6. Lmao you can turn your sims into vampires?! Omg I wanna see that so bad lol.
I may look into future man, but I’ll wait to see your post about it first lol.
And I’m sorry you got a flat tire, but at least you guys were prepared! There’s nothing worse than needing to call a tow truck and pay a fortune lol.
And you can do it girl!! How you doing lately? Have you drank? I surprisingly haven’t lol.

    1. LOL yes girl, it was pretty creepy when it happened though and now she’s always growling and putting her arms out all weird-like. It’s so annoying. There are probably YouTube videos of it!

Oh!! I will do the post soon but *spoiler alert* I do recommend it. πŸ˜€ & seriously, that’s our biggest fear: having to call a tow truck LOL. We’ve had to do that once before! It was the worst worst worst.

I didn’t drink Saturday night but that’s only one night at work so far! I do think I can do it though! I need to lose the alcohol weight I gained badly!! That’s awesome that you haven’t been drinking lately. ❀ Hopefully I'll be able to say the same in a few weeks!! πŸ˜‰
