You will NOT believe who I met on Friday night at work. Like, I still don’t believe it myself!
I didn’t recognize him when I first approached him so I wasn’t immediately all silly, shy, and nervous. I asked if I could take a seat on his lap and he actually welcomed me! We introduced ourselves, and I have to be honest here, I didn’t know his real name so when he told me it… I still didn’t really realize it was him.
After asking him a couple more questions, I couldn’t help but to say “you look incredibly similar to this guy in a Hulu show I’ve been watching.” His friends started hootin’ and hollerin’ like… “I told you someone would recognize you!!!” and then, they asked me “which show?!” and I was like “Future Man!! Are you Wolf?!?” and I couldn’t believe it that he was!!!! His friends were like “prove it to her, do the voice!!!” but I didn’t make him because I could tell he didn’t want to lol. Then, his friend pulled up a clip from the show and I was like “I know!! I just watched that episode!!” — it was bananas!!!
He was more handsome in real life but he seemed a lot thinner (not as muscle-y) than I expected him to be! He was in Vegas celebrating his buddy’s birthday and he told me that he’ll be back here next week to watch Josh Hutcherson play poker!!
I only did one dance with him and I was sooo shaky. He showed me his necklace that had a wolf pendant on it and told me he wears it all the time since he landed the role. He was so humble! Saying he usually never gets recognized and thanked me for watching like three times. 😀
When I looked at his Instagram after he left (just to make sure, y’know?), I saw he had just posted a pic in Las Vegas wearing the exact outfit I saw him in. One of his other friends was from a show called Vice, too. I’ve never watched that one before though.
It was just so crazy to me, especially since I had only been watching the show earlier that night. I kneeew it was him and I had to say something. But I wish wish wish I didn’t get so starstruck!! I should’ve asked for his autograph or something. Definitely should’ve been a lot more chill LOL.
Yesterday, we went to Greens & Proteins for dinner.
We ordered the Ahi Tuna Tostadas yet again but this time they put SO much of that weirdo avocado mousse, it was hard to ignore. The chips weren’t as crisp and I ended up just eating the meat plain without the whole mess underneath it.
Their little hummus duo wasn’t a hit either. I can’t remember if we’ve ordered this before but, the red pepper one was so sweet and neither of them had a nice texture or flavor. 😛
I had the Thai chicken bowl. It was pretty good but, I forgot to ask for brown rice instead of the basmati rice. Dang it.
Boyfriend had the Bison Burger with turkey bacon and sweet potato fries on the side. Their pickles are to die for, so fresh and tasty!! I was lucky enough to have a few (or more…) bites. 😀
We also ordered the freshest most bestest smoothie. It had watermelon, raspberries, and strawberries in it. That’s all!
And of course, I had to pick up one of their amazing dairy-free loaves. 😀 I was hoping to see carrot cake again but there was only pumpkin and blueberry.
We stopped at Starbucks afterwards, ordered our espressos, went to the dispensary, then came back home. I wrote up my Jan. Ipsy post and published it, then I did my makeup and hair for work.
I had a few alcoholic beverages with boyfriend at home before I left. It was a pretty uneventful night. I probably got a little more drunk than I would have liked to. But when don’t I?
Today, boyfriend worked the day shift so he got home a little past 4 PM. I had just showered and was playing a bit of The Sims when he arrived. We smoked a blunt before heading to Red Pot for dinner. We hadn’t been in so long!!
This place is crazy amazing. There is SO MUCH food to choose from and their broths are full of flavor.
The crab legs were especially beautiful tonight. ❤
On the way home, we had to stop at the ATM to deposit cash onto my debit card, the gas station to buy blunt wraps, and Albertson’s for cat food.
I pretty much started typing this right when I got home after I spent a year searching high and low for a hair tie. (No worries, I found two– in the same “hiding” spot…)
Tomorrow, I’ll be posting a Recipe Reviews and on Wednesday, I’ll show you my January Boxycharm! Hope you all have a wonderful week. ❤
