Here we are, my friends. It is time for my 200th Journal Entry on Hunida’s Blog!! Can’t believe I’ve been so consistent. I’m very proud of myself. π It’s crazy, when I go back and read my earlier entries… it seems like so long ago! I wonder what it’s going to feel like reading them when it’s been an even longer time.
On Wednesday night, after I posted my 199th Journal Entry, I ended up baking Sweet Loren’s Chocolate Chip Cookies (I silently thank Carly for introducing me to this wonderful dairy-free brand every time I eat them). I took them out at the exact right time for the first time, ever. Yumyumyum!

Yesterday, boyfriend had to work the evening shift so I heated up some leftovers for dinner. I feel sad because we have this huge pot of delicious soup that we made on Monday and now, it’s going bad when we only ate less than half of it. π¦
I watched an episode of Future Man and blogged a bit. In the middle of doing my makeup, boyfriend got home. I had brought two bottles of Patron home from work so instead of going out for a drink, boyfriend went to buy some pineapple juice for me and some Coca-Cola for him, along with a bottle of Seagrams 7.
I had a couple small mixed drinks while we watched music videos on YouTube. We left around 11 PM and I got to work shortly after. There were helllla dancers and barely any customers. I left at around 2 AM… fingers crossed tonight is better!!!
Boyfriend had the day off today so we got to go to Cafe Zupas for dinner! I love love love this place, it’s so quick and easy but still fresh and delicious!

We both got sandwiches and a salad. I chose the Pulled Pork sammy with an Asian Chicken Salad while boyfriend had the Braised Turkey sammy with the Chipotle Chicken Salad. Everything was absolutely wonderful and I always appreciate the complimentary choco-dipped strawberries. π Boyfriend always says he “doesn’t want” his but, I think he just knows how much I love them… hehe. β€
We went to a Starbucks nearby for our espressos but the drive thru line was ridic so we went inside instead. There were only like 2 other people ordering so we def made the right decision! Did you guys know that Starbucks has their own version of a Keurig now? It looks so cool and sleek!
When we got home I started typing this. π Now, I have to paint my nails so I better go! Have a wonderful weekend!

What’s a Keurig? I always feel like I’m asking you things haha but you’re educating me so it’s all good right?! Enjoy your weekend too!

Oh! I don’t mind your questions at all. π A Keurig is a single-cup coffee maker! You just put these little plastic flavor pods into it & it makes you a single serving cup of whatever you chose! They’re super cool & handy but not very good for the environment. π
Thank you, babe!! β€

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! 200 JOURNAL ENTRIES!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOO!!!!
OMG those cookies look so good. I want a snack but I’m literally too full to eat one. I ate 3 stuffed shells for dinner. The box of shells said a serving size is 6. Yah sure…if you didn’t eat an entire bag of popcorn by yourself an hour before dinner maybe.
A pot of soup going bad in the fridge…hmmm…there’s a list for that!!!! π
Mmmm those sandwiches and salads look so good!!!!
I did NOT know Starbucks has it’s own version of a Keurig now!
I hope you have a great weekend, too!

LOL sometimes I wanna snack when I am already full, too, I feel ya!! Those stuffed shells you made sound wonderful. I always accidentally overeat before dinner, too! hahaha.
Cafe Zupas is so tasty!! All of their salads, soups, & sandwiches are a hit! π The new Starbucks Keurig thing looks soo fancy shmancy. It even has a unique name lol.
Thank you, thank you!!! β€

Congrats on 200 journal entries! That’s an awesome milestone! Also, it’s super nice of your boyfriend to give you his chocolate-covered strawberries.
I feel like this isn’t the first time you’ve complained about your club being slow; I hope you get more customers soon!

The salads look yummy. I almost got a salad to eat today, but I ended up getting a sub instead.

Ah a sub is just so much more filling & satisfying, that’s why we got the sandwiches on the side, too lol.

I agree. Although usually the place where I get salads serve huge ones! You could get two meals out of it, but I usually eat the whole thing and then Iβm so stuffed. lol

Lol the bag salad that I usually buy from the store says “2 servings” but I always eat the whole thing and feel extremely bloated after haha.

Good job on getting your cookies out at the right time, lol, I always struggle with that! No matter how early I try to take them out, they always seem a bit too dark lol.
Chocolate dipped strawberries are some of my favorites too!! They are just always so so good. How nice of your boyfriend to give his to you. β€
Congrats on this being your 200th post! That's amazing, Hunida! Well done girl!!

It’s hard to bake cookies just right lol! Yess, have you ever had Shari’s Berries? They are so good! You can literally have chocolate covered strawberries shipped to your door. XD

It really is!! & no, I think I’ve heard of Shari’s Berries before somehow… but I’ve never tried it myself! Is it like same-day shipping?

I haven’t ordered them myself but my in-laws have and loved them! Their chocolate-covered cheesecake bites are also divine! Hmm not sure if it’s same day but it’s super fast I think. I just looked and it said an order could be available tomorrow?! But I’m not sure if that’s when it would arrive or just ship out lol.

Mmm… chocolate-covered cheesecake bites sounds so wonderful. I think it would only make sense to get them the next day so they don’t go bad!

True!! I think they come in a refrigerated box or something with a lot of ice/ice packs lol. Now I want to order some!! π

Yay for 200!!
And those cookies look so good! Great that they’re dairy free. Did I tell you I finally made the rice pudding dairy free? It was delicious. I’ll have to share the recipe on here someday lol.
And I feel like we do the same with food, we accidentally make too mush of it and don’t eat it all so our food goes bad π¦

Thank you!!! π Yes yes yes, share the DF rice pudding, please. β€ I was just starting to crave it again!
I know!! I hate throwing out so much food, I try to eat the leftovers as much as I can but sometimes it's just too much!

I should have taken photos when I made it, but I wanted to make sure it was tasty. Can’t believe I doubted myself LMAO. I did make it with rice milk because it wasn’t enough Almond Milk, I hope that’s okay HAHA. I almost think that if I would have chosen the Almond Milk it would have tasted way sweeter than with the original rice milk because the rice milk was unsweetened, and I added a whole piloncillo to the rice LOL.
Alex doesn’t seem to like leftovers, so I have to eat them all the time LOL. he always says how everything is better after its cooked, and I’m just like “no shit but we gotta eat leftovers too” LOL

I can’t believe you doubted yourself either!! I already knew it was going to be delish before you made it. π I’ve never tried rice milk before but it makes sense that it works in rice pudding! I’ll definitely give it a shot when/if you post the recipe & if I can find the piloncillo at the Mexican supermarket!!
Oh my gosh, me and boyfriend were the same way as Alex for awhile… we had to start eating them because we were just wasting waaaay too much food then I realized that if you heat stuff up in the oven or in a pot, it tastes better than in the microwave & also, sometimes, the flavor of the soups will even taste better the next day!!
LikeLiked by 1 person
I’ll be sure to make it this weekend or next, I would LOVE to post the recipe but I want to produce a high quality post with good photos and great lighting, I may even go buy some nice plates and bowls LMAO jk not THAT far
You can find piloncillo pretty much everywhere, winco, fred meyer, if you got those over there, as well as any Mexican store.
I haven’t used the microwave in a LOONG time. In fact, I almost NEVER use it for my food, heating it up in a pot is better, and I’m sorry if my previous comment already said I honestly can’t remember what I wrote LOL but yess! Soups do taste sooo good the next day, speaking of soup, made some Mexican soup today and added queso fresco to it. YUM!

Oh oh oh!!! I’m so excited to see the rice pudding. π π I freakin’ wish my boyfriend liked it so he could help me eat it. I’ll have to look at Smith’s for the piloncillo then, that makes it even easier if it’s there!!
I try not to use the microwave too often but I get lazy lmao, I have to admit I use it often. π But yeah the stovetop & oven always is the better route for taste!! I want some Mexican soup. π¦ Gimme gimme lol.

Okay, I’ll write it in my journal to make it sometime this week and prepare to make it more presentable because it’s hard to make things once we run out of light here, it’s so gloomy. π¦
And I’m sure you can make the Mexican soup too, it’s so easy to make. You kind of fry the soup in oil, making sure to stir often, when it starts browning a bit, you open up a tomato sauce can (NOT puree), add the tomato sauce and add enough water to cover the soup. Add a bouillon cube or powder, stir and let it simmer. Before the water completely evaporates, add more water to it, stir, add salt to taste, and let it boil and ta-da! LOL

I know what you mean! It gets dark so early. π¦ & oh my gosh you lost me at “fry the soup” huh?? LOL I’ll have to ask boyfriend if he could make it. π Hahaha!

Sorry Haha, you just have to brown the “pasta” Idk what else to call it besides soup? Dry soup? Lol

it’s a stock cube lol.. loaded with msg though haha.. we use the powder but I’m sure it’s the same shit haha, it’s more for the flavor I’d say

Wait… Can I freeze it?!? I didn't know you could freeze soup! How do you store it? How do you eat it again? Lol.
I love Cafe Zupas!!! But, I actually ended up not eating that bread because I was so full from the sammy and salad. π¦
Lol yes, the Starbucks machine looks so fancy!! Have you seen it yet?!

Yes I literally freeze everything (probably too much haha)… but I just put the soup in a giant (or a couple giant depending how much) ziploc freezer bag. And then I put it in a bowl to defrost. Once it’s mostly defrost I pour it out and then just heat it regularly!
Ah I wish I could have ate your bread for ya, you know I’m a carbaholic. And I have not seen it yet! I feel so behind in all the new nifty things cause I’m cooped up inside all day with school work, lol.
