Hi guys and gal pals πŸ˜€ I hope everyone’s week started off well!

On Saturday night, before I went into work, boyfriend and I stopped in for an alcoholic beverage again. πŸ˜› Our fave bartender was making fun of me for being “needy” as he got me my “set up.” I always ask for extra pineapple juice on the side, a cup of green olives, cherries, and ice so he tries to get it all to me before I can ask now LOL.

I got into work around midnight and was pretty drunk by then. I hung out with a client who I met on Friday night– him and his group liked our club so much they returned for another night of fun. πŸ˜‰ After drinking with his friends for a little bit, we ventured off into the champagne room– our last room together ended at nearly 7 AM, when the sun was rising. I was baffled by the light and still quite tipsy when boyfriend got to the club to pick me up.

I felt extreme hunger so I asked boyfriend if he wanted to have a breakfast date at Blueberry Hill. I was lucky that he said “yes!!” and drove us there. πŸ™‚

I wasn’t in the mood for anything sweet though I usually like pancakes, waffles, or french toast– I went for a sausage skillet this time and I was so glad I did.

The over-easy eggs on top were just ooey, gooey perfection. I didn’t try the salsa because my stomach wasn’t gonna be able to handle all that.

Their meatloaf is out of this world good. So hearty and homey. The best I’ve ever had, I think… boyfriend’s ordered it a few times before and talks about it all the time.

By the time we got home, it was nearly 9 AM on Sunday morning.

I still somehow managed to wake up at 2 PM. I was expecting myself to sleep in much later. I’m sooo happy I didn’t though! I was a little dazy and dehydrated but, my hangover wasn’t the worst. At least my head didn’t hurt and I wasn’t nauseated all day.

For dinner, I felt like I desperately needed some hot soup in my life and remembered that I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant called E-Jo Korean Restaurant. We pass it all the time and it looks so cute from the outside.

The inside was equally as appealing but, the menu had barely any English words on it. We had a difficult time ordering and almost walked out like we a saw another couple do…

Luckily, I researched on Yelp before I went in and recalled something I saw that I wanted to eat. It was labeled the “hangover soup” so I knew I had to get it.

But, first, our waitress stopped by to cut up some fresh kimchi for us!!!

She also dropped off some fresh (tasteless) peppers, a bowl of chopped green onions, two sweet chili-ish pastes, and a little miso sauce for boyfriend’s dish.

Boyfriend ordered the Brisket Noodle Soup and oh my, it was terrible. It literally tasted like beef sitting in hot water. Bleck. None of the pastes nor the miso sauce was making it any better.

My “hangover soup” also known as the Cabbage Soup with Beef definitely made up for it though. It was really quite phenomenal. All of my insides tingled with warmth, my dazyness disappeared, and my dehydration was no longer. It cured me. Seriously! So. Dang. Yummy!!!!

There was perfectly cooked white jasmine rice in the cute mini tin, too. πŸ™‚

We came home and gamed for the rest of the night. I have to admit I bought a ton more for my Sims game. I got the Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack along with 6 other Stuff Packs. I now have a full house with an addition of the cutest puppy. πŸ™‚ I can’t wait until my oldest daughter moves out so I can get a cat, hahaha.

Today, I woke up a little past noon and read blogs for quite some time. I took a shower around 2 almost 3 PM– boyfriend was finally awake by the time I got out. He had put the dishes in the dishwasher so it would be ready to run after I was done showering. He pretended to be sleeping when I got out even though I HEARD him making all the noise with the pots and pans! Lol. He’s so silly.

We smoked a blunt while I browsed the WWW for some recipes. I found 3 good ones then, we headed off to Smith’s. We had to stop at Inyo (the dispensary) to pick up weed before we went grocery shopping.

We got SO much food and misc. home stuff we needed. I had a freakin’ ball opening everything and eating it all up when we got home LOL.

I played a little bit of the Sims, turned it off before dinner was ready, and tried to catch up some more on the Reader.

Boyfriend had put the big skillet in the oven and when he pulled it out the handle fell right off. It was terrifying but, so super fortunately, the pan fell right onto the oven door nice and flat. No food even fell out! Barely a splash but, I was worried boyfriend might’ve burned himself (he didn’t).

Before my heart had even stopped racing, boyfriend had plated my food and put it right in front of me! Usually, he says dinner is ready and I, at least, get up to get my dish from him instead of have him bring it to me. He is just too sweet to me sometimes, I don’t even deserve it! ❀

We watched Star while we ate our delicious food then, I hopped onto here. I was responding to your lovely comments and writing up some of my post for tomorrow before I started this entry.

I need to order some mascara and face moisturizer from Sephora but, I don’t know what else to add to get up to the free shipping amount. I mean, there’s lots I want… I just don’t know what’s worth the money, y’know? I may go in-store and only get the things I need so I won’t spend the unnecessary money. πŸ˜› I do have a Victoria’s Secret gift card to spend, too. There isn’t much on there though; I’d definitely have to fork in some of my own cash to get even one item. Laaame.

I’m gonna get to writing a little more for my post tomorrow then get back to my Simmies. πŸ™‚ Goodnight, my loves!!

  1. Maaan, reading anything related to the Sims makes me want to load up mine and start playing. LOL at your sentence “waiting for my oldest daughter to move out so I can get a cat”, haha. I remember when I first got the pets expansion pack, I didn’t spade my cat and one day, it ran away and got herself pregnant so that was fun… haha.

Mmm… I don’t have Korean cuisine enough but the last time I did, it was soooo good! I hate going to Asian places without much English on their menu. At least do a poorly translated version so I can have the gist of what I want to order!

    1. Lol I really love the game. It’s so fun & incredibly fascinating. πŸ˜„ I have a dog right now that’s loyal so hopefully it won’t happen but I didn’t know pets could run away. That makes me sad! I also went to the vet to get her spayed but it took so long, I ended it before it finished. I think I have a glitch or maybe I’m just impatient? But seriously, cannot wait to get a cat. πŸ™ƒ

I don’t have Korean food that often either! It’s quite expensive and always a risk to try so we shy away usually. πŸ˜› & I agree! They should let us know what we’re ordering somehow! I bet a lot of people just walk out like the couple we saw.

    1. My sweet tooth is so big, I’m always looking for something sweet– it’s sickening lol. The skillet was wonderful though, definitely needed all that savoriness. ❀

  2. That hangover soup sounds amazing 😍 and also dangerous, because if I had that in my life, I probably would drink way more knowing I’d easily be cured the next day, haha. You’ve totally made me want to play the Sims too!! Which version have you got? Sims 2 was always my favourite but I haven’t even played Sims 4! Make sure you let us know if you do decide to buy anything extra from Sephora πŸ˜€

    1. Hahaha, it was really a magical soup. πŸ˜‰ I play the Sims 4! I remember owning all of the past ones but can’t seem to remember any of the gameplay.

Will def let you know if I do grab anything extra from Sephora! πŸ˜‰ β™‘

      1. The Sims 1 was rubbish compared to the others, no toddlers as far as I can remember which was my favourite stage and I’m sure it was just reaaallly basic. The Sims 2 was my favourite but I never really experienced sims 3 much and never ever Sims 4. I think I might have to order it online, is sims 4 really good?! Thanks hun!

        1. I hear a lot of people still love and play Sims 2 & 3! I like Sims 4 because it looks so beautiful & everything they do is up-to-date. It’s a bit more “cartoony” than real life but it’s super fun!!! You can order it all online at Origin.com and download it all on your computer right away. πŸ˜€

          1. The Sims 2 was my favourite! Hunida I am so mad with you right now though, I downloaded The Sims on this Origin site (before I read your comment I just googled buy The Sims 4 and that came up), well I bought it off amazon to use the code on Origins, had a nightmare code saying not working etc, had to get refunded but I finally bought it on the actual Origins store and now I’m hooked!!!!!! So I don’t know whether to thank you or not because you’re the one who inspired me to buy the Sims 4, but now I am addicted and can’t. stop. playing. hahahah I love it! I only have the original version and the toddler expansion pack but I want them all. Especially pets! Which expansions do you have!? xxx

            1. Oh my gosh, that sounds sooo annoying about the first code not working but, I’m so glad they refunded you and you were able to play!!

Heheh, now we are both hooked on the game!! There’s just so much to do and accomplish– it’s hard to quit playing! Right now, I have all the Expansions except Get Famous and all of the Game Packs except Jungle Adventure! Pets is super cute but, I thought we would be able to do more with the pets than we can. πŸ˜›

  3. I watched Korean film quite a lot and seen their food all looks so tempting! But too scared to try each of them lol. Except the Korean tofu stew – my favorite! Hangover soup sounds interesting! And your boyfriend is so sweet ❀

    1. Ooh! There are so many Korean films & shows on Netflix. I should watch them! & I need to try this tofu stew now, too! But, I have to be honest, I am not a fan of Korean BBQ! Their meat marinade is always so sweet! I loved the Hangover soup & I love boyfriend, too. lol ;D

    1. Yess! We will definitely go to breakfast here when you come. πŸ™‚ There were no pictures on the menu but there were some of select items along the back wall. They should have included them on the menu!

    1. Ugh when I first started dancing, I would drink every night and go to this 24 hr diner in Minneapolis. It always helped with the hangover but made me gain a LOT of weight lol. I wish I could do it every night with no repercussions. 😦

  4. What a bummer about your boyfriend’s soup, but at least yours made up for it! What a relief that it cured your hangover soup, lol, it sounds really good!! I would have been so lost if I opened one of those menus and didn’t see hardly any English, though. I wouldn’t have blamed you guys for walking out! They can’t just assume their patrons know Korean, lol.
How scary about the handle falling off that skillet as your boyfriend put it in the oven!! That would have totally frightened me too. O.O I’m amazing it landed flat on the oven door though and that it barely splattered. How lucky!!

    1. I felt so bad for him! He’s always so good at eating food he doesn’t like. I get so upset when mine doesn’t taste good and barely will have a bite. He nearly ate it all somehow!

I know! I was so confused about the menu. If I hadn’t looked on Yelp beforehand, I would have definitely walked out like we saw another couple that walked in do lol.

I know!! I couldn’t believe he didn’t lose any food. It just fell perfectly on the oven door lol. Still scary though!! & he had to put it back in because it wasn’t done cooking LOL.

  5. Lol oh my gosh, I love that you had your β€œset up”, that is SO something I would do too. That breakfast place looks awesome- those are some guuud lookin’ skillets! And the other restaurant sounded like a hit too. I actually love cabbage- so that cabbage soup does sound spectacular! Awww I think I hear your simmies calling for you now…. Especially with all that new cat and dogs πŸ˜‰ Have a great Sunday, love! xo

    1. Hahaha I feel annoying wanting all the things but at least I don’t have to ask now πŸ˜‚ that breakfast place has all the classic diner stuff. It’s one of those homey spots, y’know? So yum! πŸ˜„ I love cabbage, too!! & it was just awesome in that soup. My Simmies are always calling for me… LOL. Hope you had a great Sunday, too. πŸ˜‰
