Hi, friends!! I couldn’t believe that Influenster was sending me another box after I totally ignored their e-mails and campaigns for the last one I received (Staycation) but, I am so so so happy that they did.
I was thinking about quitting this program altogether but, the products I received in this box have got me back on a reviewing rampage to make sure I get the next great one.
All products below were sent to me, complimentary of Influenster, for reviewing purposes.
Be prepared because you are not going to believe your eyes as I unbox this!
I loved their little play-on-words for the theme of the box and I really appreciate that they always include the products and info on the postcard.
What Was In My Box?!
A powerful age-defying serum that visibly minimizes fine lines and wrinkles, rejuvenates the skin’s complexion, and restores its youthful radiance, as well as delivering hydration.
My First Impression: I’ve never found a face serum that worked for me. They all make my skin too oily and I’m not a fan of that feeling so, this was the product I was least excited about. I can’t believe it costs $160 for the full-size, though. I’m gonna have to give this one a shot.
Full-Size Retail Value: $160 (15mL)
Cheeky Stamp Blush in 01 Coy Serein
Kaja’s innovative Cheeky Stamp blushes include a heart shaped sponge + cushion formula for perfectly precise application and a buildable, multi-dimensional flush. The foolproof heart shaped applicator fits in the apple of the cheek, providing the perfect amount of product for a covetable flush.
My First Impression: I have been DYING to try anything by Kaja ever since the line dropped at Sephora but gosh, this blush is just too cute to even use! I don’t know if I want to! It also seems like a lot of work to apply.
Retail Value: $24
Cherry Almond Softening Shampoo & Conditioner
Aveda’s New Cherry Almond Shampoo and Conditioner leave your hair touchably soft, shiny and full of weightless bounce. Its sweet aroma is 100% naturally derived from plants, non-petroleum minerals or water.
My First Impressions: Ah, I know I’ve said that I’d no longer be using hair products I receive but, I’ve only heard amazing things about the Aveda brand so I’m willing to give this shampoo a try. I do not do conditioner at all anymore though.
I like the subtle Cherry Almond scent– it’s nice but, there’s a bit of a lotion-y smell I’m not too fond of (sniffing from the bottle).
Full-Size Retail Value: $18 for both or $9 each
Camellia Goldspun Lip Balm
An intensely hydrating lip balm rich in camellia oil that absorbs quickly, leaving lips soft and touchable with a shimmery hint of 23-karat gold.
My First Impressions: Okay, this is the only product I’ve given a try. I have heard so many wonderful things about Tatcha from plenty of beauty bloggers and I was too excited to get my hands on one of their products.
I was sad to put my finger in it and leave prints… I mean, look how beautiful it is!!! The packaging was out of this world, too. I keep tucking the little tub back in after every use. SADLY, after a week… I don’t think this is doing much for my lips! They seem to be getting a bit drier, if I’m being honest.
Retail Value: $30
