Hiya, guys πŸ™‚

Yesterday, I was thinking about going to work but, I ended up staying home with boyfriend instead. I finished reading Fractured by Catherine McKenzie and started on the 4th installment of the Miss Peregrine’s series (by Ransom Riggs). I wrote some upcoming posts yet, didn’t completely finish one… except the Fractured post that went up this morning. I painted my nails and watched a couple of episodes of UnREAL.

Today, we both woke up around noon and it’s time for me to get my booty back to work since I played a little hooky on Saturday night!! We had a 2-hour stew planned for dinner so boyfriend started making it earlier than usual. Our whole apartment smells mighty wonderful now!!

After we ate, it was a bit too early to get our espresso from Starbucks so I finished an episode of UnREAL. I remembered that I needed to get new work shoes so we left for Red Shoes right after. There was quite a lot of traffic so I took a wee little nap in the car. πŸ™‚

I bought the same 8-inch double-strap heels I always get but, this time in black instead of clear. I think I’m going to get a different style every time I go in for new ones but… I just don’t see any that would work better for me. I like the simplicity of the ones I wear.

On the way home, we stopped at Starbucks for our quad shots over ice. Luckily, the traffic wasn’t as bad as it was getting there. I’ve got to go do my makeup now. Hope you all have a nice evening. ❀

    1. Actually I’m not sure if I answered before!

The shoes are always $65 & up. Outfits can range in price by how fancy they are. The most simple matching two-piece bikini set would be around $60 if you want the exotic dancewear namebrands. Buuut if you go to Forever 21… you may snag a cute little lingerie set for $20! They definitely won’t last as long though so in the long run, you always spend the same.

    1. LOL, I started with 5 inches and kept going up!! Now it’s hard for me to walk in anything less than 8 inches! I do think regular heels are A LOT harder to walk in than dancer heels though.

    1. Thank you so much, Randee. ❀ I think that regular heels are a lot more difficult than dancer heels though– you'd be able to rock the 8's in no time with a little practice! πŸ˜‰

Last night was actually awful. Customers were rude & there weren't many of them at all. Thank you for the well wishes, though!! ❀

I would love to write a book someday! I just don't know where to start & to be honest, I'm afraid!

    1. It was just released earlier this month. πŸ˜€ I think the 3rd one was definitely the best. I can’t believe all those photos are real?!

Woo-hoo!! So happy that you got the box. πŸ˜€ Have fun with it all!! ❀

    1. I’m still only on Chapter 5 of the book but, it’s good so far. It seems a lot lighter and more childish, if that makes sense though? Which one was your fave out of the first 3?! πŸ˜€

      1. That does make sense! And I think probably the 3rd since it had the most going on? I feel like the first was a lot of introductions and the second just felt slow but I could be misremembering since it was so long ago since I read them.

  1. I love wearing heels but at some point I am going to have to accept the fact that I am over 50 and should tone it down a little!! I could never do 8 inches though, 5 is about my max

    1. Oh whatever! You can wear heels for as long as you want!! You are dang hot!!! ❀ & for my work shoes, the 8 inches are just more comfy because it's more of platform than a slope, if that makes sense? In real life, I would so prefer shorter heels lol.
