TWO Makeup Looks Feat. My July 2018 Subscription Boxes

Hey all! I thought I’d start this new little series on my blog – I don’t know if it will be monthly or not – we’ll have to see.

I am addicted to subscription boxes at the moment (if you haven’t noticed)… mainly, I like the beauty ones. I get quite a few new products to try each month and I always love playing with everything. I am by NO means a certified makeup artist – heck, I can’t even apply false lashes nor draw a winged liner… TBH, I can’t even draw a straight line. I’ve contoured my face one whole time in my entire life and, guess what? It was for this post. I have no patience for blending, I don’t use primer most of the time, etc. etc., you get it? I am a complete makeup amateur.

I’m not trying to teach you anything here.

I am simply challenging myself to create makeup looks using all of the products I receive in my monthly subscription boxes along with the makeup I already own and sharing what I come up with here on my blog. πŸ™‚

Which look do you prefer? I really liked the first one but, wasn’t so much a fan of the second one. Do you subscribe to any beauty boxes or other misc. sub boxes? Do you think they’re worth the money and the hype?

    1. Thank you! You’re right! The second one seems more like a night look & the first one a day. πŸ™‚ I totally understand that! I hate when the products give me a bad skin reaction!

  1. Pink shades look so good on you! I can’t pull them off as well because I have cool undertones, so it doesn’t mesh as well with my skin. You have warm undertones, so pinks and gold tones are great for you. πŸ™‚

  2. Hunida you are just gorgeous! My favourte look is the first one, that eye shadow looks delicious on you! So complimentary! And I love the lip colour. I love the softness of the look. Also your skin is amazing!
And that lip colour from the bright lights look suits you so much! I love that bolder shade. So excited to see more looks you create in the future!

    1. You are waaay too sweet, Jennie! ❀ Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❀ ❀ I love the subtlety of the first one, too & the lip shade for the second look was even better in person! Going to come up with some new looks and do this post again next month. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you!! ❀ The first look is definitely more me. The second one, I don't like how I look with black eyeliner on my waterlines, the eyeshadow was being impossible (& it's just kind of ugly, imo), & the highlighter was too light & bright for me, it accentuated all of my bumps & pores. 😦
I did love that lip color, too!! ❀

      1. Oh ok I see, I think the black eyeliner looks good, it opens up your eyes a bit more, that’s why I like tightlining lol.
Oh ok, the highlighter isn’t as noticeable, but I bet it does look different in person.
