Reflecting On Our June 2018: Bloggers Collab

Welcome to DAY EIGHT of my collaboration with Rossy and Tialla!

For all of June, I teamed up with Rossy and Tialla for a summer themed, lifestyle bloggers collaboration. If you missed out on it, here’s a look at the banner we followed (created by the lovely Rossy):

I’m saddened to announce that this is the very last post in the collaboration. We chose to write a little reflection on the collab for our finale. We really hope that you enjoyed following along and would like to sincerely thank you for doing so!! ❀

When Rossy suggested a collaboration with me, we were casually commenting with each other back and forth and I was interested but… not quite sure that she was actually serious! I mean, she’s 100x more talented with all the blogging things. I wasn’t sure I could put out content that matched up with hers.

I was shocked when I received the e-mail from her to start this collab and to be very honest, I was thinking about flaking out and denying her offer. I was beyond nervous.

I eventually bit the bullet and e-mailed her back. I decided that I wanted to do it. She told me that Tialla would be in on it as well so, I became even more excited to start!

I had seen collabs from a few of the blogs I follow before but, I never thought I’d be a part of one.

Being a part of this one made me feel like I was truly involved in something. Two other people were depending on me to be responsible and timely. Everything I do in my daily life relies only on me. If I don’t do something, even when I should, I’m the only one who takes the fall. It was shockingly nice to have people depending on me and it felt satisfying being able to pull through. I felt the thrill of accomplishment each time one of my collab posts went live. It was definitely a rewarding feeling.

I won’t deny that, yes, at least once or twice, I got nervous and thought that I’d be the only one posting. That Rossy and Tialla would forget about me and our collab but, they never did! (Thank you, girls!) Those were my own irrational fears though… I also feared that WordPress would fuck me over and not post my posts at the right time or that I’d accidentally schedule it at the wrong time of day. On top of all that, I’d get anxiety before starting each post… wanting to write my post in a unique way but, not so completely different that it wouldn’t even make sense alongside Rossy’s and Tialla’s.

Would I do another bloggers collaboration in the future? ABSOLUTELY!

It was way more than fun!! I woke up with something to look forward to every Monday and Wednesday of this entire month. The first thing I did each Monday and Wednesday was head over to Rossy’s and Tialla’s blogs and read their posts!! It was so interesting to see how we took each prompt differently or similarly.

It definitely turned out to be a lot more work than I thought it would be. Especially for the OOTD and the makeup routine. I have a newfound respect for you beauty and fashion bloggers who do those kinds of posts on the daily. So many kudos to you all!

P.S. E-mail me at:, if you have any ideas you’d like to collab with me on. πŸ˜‰ We’ll make something happen together!

To my dearests: Rossy and Tialla, thank you two so so much, for including me. I truly loved getting to know you girls better and better through each post. Both of you are such talented bloggers! All of your content in this collab and away from it is incredible. I am so honored to have been a part of this!! Please, never ever hesitate to contact me if you want to do this again sometime in the future.

Have you ever done a bloggers collaboration? If you have, would you ever do it again? If you haven’t, would you ever like to try? What did you think of our collaboration?

  1. Gee. Wow. I could collaborate. But it’s okay. You’re still the cutest “eats like there is no tomorrow but cannot gain weight to save her life” blogger I know. Maybe next time. Cool collaboration. Come to think of it, I’m a loner, a rebel. Not the collaborator type. Vaya con Dios. – Robert

  2. I said it on Rossy’s post and I’ll say it here also, I totally wish there was a LOVE button for these posts!! This collab was honestly so much fun and I’m really glad you were part of it! It was absolutely fantastic to get to know you better and to see all of your creative content! You did a phenomenal job!

I can totally relate about the anxiety as well–I was nervous the whole time! It was a thrill of nerves and excitement the whole month, lol.

And no worries, I would totally never flake out. πŸ˜‰ I’m always nervous that other people are going to do that too, so I get it. It’s a pet peeve of mine when people drop the ball like that, lol. (I once hired someone to organize a blog tour when I was 19 and everyone in the tour fully agreed to post the type of content they *wanted* on a certain date throughout the tour…and one of the girls I actually knew in person flaked. When I messaged her about it, she was like “yeah, I’m sick so I can’t.” It totally pissed me off, lol. That’s what scheduling is for!)

ANYWAY, this collab was a blast and I hope we can do something again down the road! ❀

    1. That’d be cool if there was a “love” & a “my condolences” option instead of just “like” LOL. But I guess that’s what comments are for, to express our love. πŸ™‚

I had so much fun too! I’m glad that you enjoyed this collab as much as I did. ❀ You did a phenomenal job as well!!!

Ahhh! It feels really good to know that I wasn't the only one who was nervous throughout the whole thing!

I'm so glad we were all on time and reliable. That would have been a total buzzkill if one of us didn't pull through like that girl. Yay us!!!

      I hope we can, too. πŸ˜€ ❀

    1. Lol! When I first got your e-mail, I was just thinking of how I could get myself out of it but then I had ideas I wanted to contribute so I was like “AHH I’ll give it a shot,” PLUS I love you & your blog so that’s why I really did not flake out!!!

It was really fun branching out & doing other kinds of posts!! Again, thanks so much for including me!! ❀ I would have never tried such posts or even a collaboration if it weren't for you.
