Journal Entry #88

May 04, 2018

I just remembered that it’s my mom’s birthday tomorrow. Hopefully Facebook gives me a notification so I’ll remember tomorrow, too… when it really matters haha.

I took three days off of work in a row. Tuesday, Wednesday, and yesterday. I have to go back tonight. Boyfriend had the past three days off of work, too, but lucky him… also gets to have today off. He does have to go back tomorrow, though.

Yesterday, when we woke up, we just laid around a bit. I took a bubble bath because my nose was all stuffed up when I woke up.

Later on in the day, I coughed up a huge and thick bloody ball of phlegm. I looked it up on the internet and they said it’s nothing to worry about??? Naturally, I’ve been worried about it since it happened.

I started a new show on Netflix when boyfriend cooked dinner. I played the games on my phone, caught up with the blogs on my reader, and spent a lot of time on my Mini Book Reviews post. We didn’t leave the house except once to get us some frappucinos for dessert.

Today, we woke up around 2p and I took a shower right away. Boyfriend cleaned up the house a bit and I washed our bed sheets, pillow cases, and blankets. While boyfriend made dinner, I took my old nail polish off and did the clear base layer. I have to do the two layers of color later. I think I’ll do it before or after my makeup. I can feel that my nails are getting so much stronger, they’re not easily bent and broken anymore but I can still see the indents and damage from the too many years of acrylics. I can’t wait ’til they grow out completely even and healthy.

I finally tried out the last two products of my April’s Sephora box so I’m going to type that post up right after this, hopefully I can finish on time to schedule it for tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is also my debut of a new monthly series on my blog: Monthly Currentlys!!

I finished reading The Couple Next Door yesterday, too. I scheduled the My Favorite Quotes From… post for it on Monday morning at 9a PST.

I really want to do a movie reviews post on all of the movies I watched on Netflix this week, too, so I might replace one of my upcoming scheduled posts with that!!

Anywho, I better get to my unboxing post. It’s already getting so late! I hope I can finish it fast.

Have a great weekend!!

XO, Hunida

  1. Wow, I have never coughed up blood or had bloody phlegm before. That would freak me out too.

Movie reviews sounds awesome. I did a couple on my blog before, but it’s been a while. I used to do them all the time on my old blog. I haven’t watched too many new movies lately, but I think that will change once I get my basement converted into a movie room and get a big screen to watch them on. 🙂

    1. Yeah I’m still a bit freaked out about it but my boyfriend told me to stop worrying. 😛 I can’t believe it’s considered normal on the internet too.
I will get to writing those movie reviews asap! Your basement is gonna be so awesome. I’d love to have a movie room!

      1. I wish it was a finished basement though. It probably won’t be the prettiest since the basement is unfinished, but I am going to do a little painting, so hopefully that will help it look a little better.

    1. Lol thank you for the reminder, Pamela! I actually texted her but it was the wrong number and she messaged me later in the day like “you don’t say happy birthday to your mom any more?” Agghhh! Lol.

  2. I’m gonna start taking baths once a week, probably the epsom salt baths to de stress because my gosh, motherhood is crazy lol.
And I can’t believe you coughed that up but I’d be freaked out too. Hopefully it is nothing to worry about 😀
Can’t wait to catch up on your posts. I’m on Friday’s posts now so I don’t think it will be very many since people don’t post that much on the weekends lol.

    1. I’ve never tried the Epsom salt baths!! I use body wash and I tried one bubble bar before. They both make my skin so silky smooth!! You’ll notice a difference in your skin if you do take a bath once a week. 😀 Also, YOU DESERVE IT!
Yes, it was disgusting… lol, I hope it was nothing, too!
Thank you for taking the time to catch up on my posts!! You’re the best! ❤

      1. Me neither but I have heard good things. I got lavender epsom salt. Will be good for my constant stress and future anxiety. I swear motherhood has made me age 😞
I hope so I’ll be treating myself to a hot bath and a full spa day for myself once a week from now on lol.
