Journal Entry 05

October 11, 2017

I should’ve went to work last night but I didn’t. I should’ve stayed later than midnight on Monday especially since I had only started at 11p. I had a disgusting customer on Monday and he just ruined my entire mood so I went home right after dealing with him.

Yesterday, I did some laundry. We need to buy some more hangers. I have so much clothes, it’s ridiculous. I also read a lot of blog posts of those that I follow. I read a little bit of Gabi, A Girl in Pieces but not enough to do a WWW Wednesday today. I’ve only finished one book since I did my last WWW Wednesday, two weeks ago. I also need to post my favorite quotes from that book.

Today, I cleaned the bathroom, picked up around my bedroom but it wasn’t really messy and swept and mopped the floors in the entire house. Boyfriend had the day off today–we’ve made it our goal to clean the entire house once a week. He did the kitchen and living room/dining room. The maintenance man had to come fix our dishwasher because it wasn’t working properly. We’ve only been here for a week and he’s tried to fix this machine 3 different times. Today he took it out and left with it for a little while and came and put it back in. We did the dishes by hand but we ran it through one cycle with a few misc. dishes and it wasn’t making the loud noises that it was before but it doesn’t seem to dry the dishes that well…ugh. How annoying.

We also noticed that the furniture man forgot one screw in our dining table and it’s hella wobbly. And one more complaint I have about my new apartment is that the hot water is gone so quickly, I can’t even finish all my shower tasks (at least not with hot water)…!! 😦

I played the Sims after we were done cleaning the house and I took a shower. Babe made dinner and after we finished eating, we had a li’l fun together, then we went to Starbucks to get my 4 shots of espresso over ice. 🙂 Now I’m here writing this. It’s almost 8p so I should get ready now. I really need to get my nails refilled and my eyebrows threaded but man, I’ve got a lot of hefty fucking bills to pay this month!! I need to sell my shitty ass car, asap. The insurance bill on that car is killing me and it never runs properly anyways…I doubt it’ll pass the smog test next year. I need to get rid of it!!

Things around the apartment are good other than the things I mentioned above. I really want to go to Fright Dome. I’m still debating on if I should go to work and dress up this year on Halloween.

I’m definitely PMS-ing right now because I feel drained constantly, my boobies are sore, and I am ravenous…lol oh and the worst part, I am so bloated. 😦 I hope it’s busy at work tonight.

I’m working on my next installments of Dairy Free Me and Recipe Reviews so look out for those if you’re interested! 🙂 Thank you for all your support and sticking with me even though I’ve been a bit MIA with being so busy because of my move.

Have a good night and sleep well, bloggers. ❤

It is now 7:48p.

  1. You’re doing great. I can’t believe after 3 times they haven’t just replaced it, who is this man? He sounds like my ex trying to fix things! 😂
Good luck at work, I hate when one person fouls up the rest of the day!

    1. Hahaha, my boyfriend keeps calling this man all the worse names in the book. He told us the dishwasher is only a few months old so it should work but that doesn’t exactly mean it does…lol.

Thank you!! ❤️ some people are just so horrible, it’s crazy.

  2. It’s a nightmare when the hot water doesn’t last very long. In high school when I was living with my dad, I had to shower as fast as I could because the water would get cold after 7 minutes. Also, and still to this day, the toilet will stop flushing if you flush too often. Every time my dad has a party at his house, the toilet always ends up not working. It also won’t flush when it rains a lot or within 30 minutes of someone taking a shower. It’s ridiculous. lol

  3. Really enjoyed this – you’re crazy productive! If I wrote a journal it would literally be “woke up late, missed the train, hated work, got home late, forgot to eat, fell asleep, rinse and repeat”. UGH, bills girl bills. If you have loads of clothes, maybe try Depop for extra cash? x

    1. Ahhh, me? Productive? Wow! I feel I never get anything done! Thank you! 😄 Lol. You may think it’s boring but it’s always interesting to read about someone else’s day for me and I think for a lot of other people too! 🙂

I’ve never heard of Depop but I’m definitely gonna look it up after I send this comment lol. I actually don’t have much clothes at all that I want to sell/throw away though. I’m a clothes hoarder—I can’t part with any of it. 🙈

  4. I have a fricken basket full of clothes hangers I am throwing away, such a shame you do not live near me… An no I am not packing them in my suitcase when I come to Vegas LOL!!
Sorry you had a shitty customer, hope you get some great ones tonight!

    1. Hahaha, dang!!! I was hoping you might do that for me. 😉 I still haven’t gotten anymore.

Thank you for hoping that I had better customers because I think the Stripper Gods heard you. ❤

  5. Girl, you’re doing fine! Moving is stressful, we understand 😊 and that’s crazy about the dishwasher, someone doesn’t know what they’re doing apparently lol. You’ll get there with things, hopefully they work themselves out with that apartment! At least you no longer have them psycho meth addict neighbors 😂 the hot water thing really sucks though, I take long hot showers 🙊

    1. So stressful, but every day it’s getting easier!! 🙂 Lol, I think the dishwasher is working now but we can’t load it completely full, I guess?

And, yes, even though I had a few complaints–I’m so happy I moved here, it’s 100x better than my old place!!

      1. Well good! All you can do is take it day by day (: and oh gosh that’s annoying! And almost a waste of a dishwasher haha.

And that’s how you know you made the right move! It’s not going to be perfect, unfortunately. Most places aren’t until you find your dream home. But as long as it’s an improvement, then that’s a step in the right direction 🙂
