Day 26: What Kind of Person Attracts Me

In a man:

  • Dark hair, I’m rarely attracted to blondes
  • At least 5’10” (my boyfriend is exactly, haha)
  • He must have lips — I can’t and won’t kiss someone with little or no lips
  • Nice, white teeth
  • Short fingernails and toenails
  • I’m not into the huge smelly beards — nicely groomed facial hair is fine but, clean-cut is the best
  • I am not into big, bulky muscular men

  • Must be able to start and hold a conversation
  • Must have a sense of humor and is able to take a joke
  • Willing to try every and any thing at least once
  • Must be caring and loving towards animals, and of course, me πŸ˜‡
  • Must be dominant — I couldn’t be with a man who’s afraid to be dominant! (And I don’t mean just in bed, although, that’s definitely included)
  • Must be confident and have love for himself

In a friend:

  • I mostly care that they’re loyal. The one thing I look out for is if the person I’m interested in becoming friends with talks to me about another one of his/her friends’ problems/issues. These people are super untrustworthy and I know they’ll only do the same with my problems.
  • I also can’t be friends with someone who constantly needs something from me, but when I need something in return, they never have anything to offer.
  • I hate possessive friends, too. The ones who tell you that you’re hanging out with someone else too much and they thought you were their best friend.
  • I also can’t be friends with someone who calls every single person they hang out with their best friend.

Am I picky in picking a friend? Maybe I am, but I believe a friend is someone you can go to with any and everything and have no fear of judgment… I’d fear judgement from all of the types of people I listed above.

I’m attracted to those who:

  • Are always smiling
  • Are kind to any and everyone they meet
  • Are constantly crackin’ jokes
  • Are always there, not only for me, but for anyone who may need them
  • Have loud, genuine laughs
  • Aren’t afraid to make silly/ugly faces
  • Aren’t afraid to get their hands and faces dirty while eating BBQ ribs or spicy chicken wings
  • Does whatever they want to do without worrying about the consequences

Thank you for stopping by πŸ’‹

  1. I’m with you on quite a few things! I prefer guys with dark hair on the taller side (then again, I’m only 5’0″ so everyone is basically taller than me) πŸ˜‚ I don’t like guys with excessive facial hair, but I do like facial hair when it’s clean and short. And I don’t like big bulky guys either – if all you care about is the gym, that’s fine, but I can easily say we have nothing in common lol. And I’m just not attracted to big muscles. I like strong guys, but not when you look ridiculous lol.

Everything you said for personality I agree with wholeheartedly! I like guys who are adventurous and down to earth. Dominant is a must because I like a guy who knows how to take initiative. And confidence is key!

Loyalty is so important in friendships! And I watch out for that kind of thing, too. And I hate when people abuse your friendship like that. I’ve had people use me as someone to vent to, and then when I would need someone to talk to, they were never there. It’s such a shitty feeling. Obsessive friends and people in general are too much.

I don’t think you’re picky with choosing friends because you’re right – friends don’t judge you when you come to them. They might tell you that you’re being an idiot, irresponsible, yes that dress does not suit you, etc, but they’re there for you. A real friend is just honest and accepting. And so very hard to find, sadly.

    1. lol I’m only 5’1″ too but I like to look up to my man!! Guys who only care about the gym are the WORST and it really does look ridiculous when they’re bigger than the Incredible Hulk.

Ah yeah, I’ve had friends like that! They’d only use me to vent and talk shit about their other friends… so horrible. It’s good to know that someone doesn’t think I’m too picky, hehe. ☺️ πŸ’—

      1. Haha I definitely relate to that! I’ve been on a date with a guy who was 6’5″ before, though, and realized that was ridiculously too tall lol. Such a height difference πŸ˜‚ and yes exactly !!

And basically! It is awful, I finally cut back on those kind of people in my life. I don’t have time for it lol. And you for sure aren’t πŸ˜‚ people just suck, it’s good to have some kind of standard.

      2. Trust me, I feel you on that one haha. I make friends at work, but I’m not exactly close with them. People kind of just care about themselves haha

      3. Ah yeah, there are people I talk to at work but I wouldn’t consider them my friends. I’ve noticed that, too lol that most people only care about themselves. πŸ˜•

      4. I consider some of my coworker’s my friends, because I really don’t talk to many people outside of work these days. And they do, it’s sad :/

      5. My co-workers are really sketchy lol so I can’t consider them friends but they’re cool to talk to while I’m at work. πŸ˜†

Yeah, I don’t either. I just have my boyfriend outside of work. πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ I don’t really mind though, lol.

      6. Haha I gotcha, I’d kind of avoid them outside of work then, too πŸ˜‚

And it’s nice sometimes as long as you have someone! Other times it sucks haha
